That afternoon, Lucy was preparing to leave for her job. As a nurse working the night shift all week, she found herself in a bit of a bind. Recently divorced and new to the area, she didn’t have anyone she could rely on to care for her daughter. Despite her efforts to find a babysitter, none seemed suitable until a colleague suggested a thirty-year-old woman named Gauri, who came highly recommended. The doctor reassured her that Gauri, being an adult, could stay with her daughter late into the night if necessary. Lucy was overjoyed to receive Gauri's contact details and called her three hours before her shift began, hoping for a brief and soothing chat before heading off to work. "Pat. Puppygirl. The new babysitter will be here soon," Lucy said with a smile. "Please be kind and polite," she gently reminded her.

The child was just like any normal 9 year old child, he was in 4th grade in which she loved to read and is very good at long division. He likes school and seeing her friends but likes the weekends at home too where she doesn't usually have homework. His/her favorite color is pastel green. He/she loves watching Netflix and has a secret love for watching tv show for very little children even if they are "baby shows". He/she's currently working on reading an old book his mommy gave her called "harry potter" but still gets caught up on some big words. He/She also has a bit of an entitlement issue with being seen as a big boy since he's only about as big as the first and second graders and only just stopped sucking his thumb at night a few weeks ago. (Our RP starts as the little boy is doing his homework in the living room with train playing on the TV, the door bell rings his mommy answers the door to see the babysitter she had called for the night. This babysitter was different though and has promised to get her little boy to relax and enjoy being a "little" kid more.... I will play the adult characters.

"Well, technically, you won't be working for me, but rather for my girlfriend," Lucy clarified. "However, I do assist her from time to time. I believe you fit the profile she is looking for," she remarked to the young girl, who was noticeably smaller than her. "I have finished my work for today, so I will take you to my house where we can discuss your new position," she added, smiling kindly at Cristy before sending a message to her girlfriend to inform her about the arrival of a guest. "Now, gather your belongings, and let's go," she said with a smile, picking up her handbag and leading her to the office door as they made their way to the elevator together.

Lucy was genuinely amazed by the girl's boldness. "Wow, I'm impressed! I didn't expect you to sign without even reading the contract," she said, pleased with the girl's agreement. "Great! According to the contract, you’ll be moving in with me. Do you have any pets? You can bring them along; I’m sure they’ll get along well with my two dogs. I hope you’re not afraid of large dogs," she added with a warm smile. "Don’t worry, they’re both very friendly and affectionate," the woman reassured her.

One sunny morning, the little boy woke up all bright-eyed after a super cozy sleep. His diaper got changed, and that made him feel really happy! He watched his aunt as she opened the wardrobe to pick out his clothes for the day. When he saw the dinosaur print on his onesie, he couldn't help but smile because he loved it so much! He let his aunt take off his pajama shirt and help him put on his onesie with the socks. The little boy nodded with excitement when his aunt mentioned a surprise!

Lucy plugged a flash drive into the computer, opened a text file, typed a few words, and started printing a page. She then placed it on her desk in front of the girl. "Here you go!" the woman said to her. "I need you to sign this document first. It's a private agreement between the two of us," she explained to the girl sitting across from her. "There's no need for the company to know about it. Take a week to think it over, and if you decide to accept, just sign it and call me on my private number listed in the document," the woman calmly explained.

I deeply regret to inform you that this matter is beyond my control, the woman explained to her employee, genuinely saddened. "Believe me, I am truly sorry. I have been compelled to acknowledge that you lack a certain aptitude," she said, gazing at the young woman with a very sorrowful expression. "However, you are a kind individual and a good person. I believe you deserve the best in life," she added, looking at her with great empathy. She then stood up and moved towards the window to reflect for a moment. "Um... perhaps I have another solution that could allow you to lead a fulfilling life," she said, turning back to her with a reassuring smile.

Lucy looked at the girl with a gentle expression. While she did not have high expectations, she genuinely appreciated that the girl was making an effort offering to help, even if the results were not particularly commendable. "Well, Christy, I’m not quite sure how to say this," she said, feeling a bit embarrassed as she truly felt for the girl standing before her. Taking a deep breath, she continued, "The issue stems from a mistake on your part." She aimed to use a tone that was as non-accusatory as possible. "You made appointments with investors who were not pleased at all, and as a result, they withdrew their investments."

The little boy lay down on the bed all cozy-like, taking his bottle and sipping it slowly. His aunt was busy tearing off the sticky tape and opening up his diaper. He was super calm while she cleaned him up with soft wipes. She lifted his little legs so she could slide a fresh diaper under his bottom, and he kept on drinking from his bottle. By the time his aunt finished changing him, the little guy had finished his drink too!

Andrew woke up all nice and cozy. Even though he had some yucky dreams at night, hugging his stuffed animal made him feel better. His aunt picked him up and sat him on her lap, and he held his stuffed toy tight while he happily took the bottle from her.

Andrew hugged his cuddly toy while sucking on his pacifier as he snoozed. In the night, he had some scary dreams and wet his already soggy diaper again, but having his plush koala with him made him feel a little better. The next morning, he woke up all snuggled up with his soft toy.

Andrew fussed a little bit more before resting his little head on his aunt's shoulder while she went to get some new pajamas. He happily took the pacifier and started sucking on it, and when his aunt said she had a surprise for him, he was even more ready to sleep. She gently laid him down on the bed and helped him get out of his clothes, and in the meantime, he let out a big yawn behind the pacifier.

"B-b-but... I-I’m not t-tired!" Andrew tried to say, but then a huge yawn came out and his pacifier fell right out of his mouth! His eyes felt super heavy, and his little head was bobbing like a sleepy bobblehead. He started to whimper because he really wanted to play, having a tiny sleepy fit. But still, he snuggled up on his auntie’s lap, letting her cuddle him all warm and cozy.
