  1. This part was so evocative for me. I remember being a preteen and being so frustrated at my lack of input on things. You sure weren't kidding about wanting to explore the less positive sides of Sue's decision. I don't know when this story is set, but growing up in the 90s and 00s there was such a stigma around even the concept of special education classes. If that were me and my parents even mentioned switching classes, I'd be so anxious and fraught over what my peers my age thought.
  2. Great point. How you steel your resolve after it is shaken says a lot about you. And in this situation, that's true whether you are going back to diapers or leaving them behind. Thanks for the reply, and looking forward to reading more as you share their story.
  3. Good chapters, very well written. Weirdly enough on a diaper forum, I'm rooting for Peter to stick with the potty training and not go back to diapers lol. He worked so hard to get where he is. And Sue's personal decision to go back shouldn't stop him from his achievements, but I understand how it makes it difficult given how close the two of them are. Plus, to me as a reader, it kinda makes Sue's diapers feel more special if she's the only one in them. Thanks for continuing to share this story!
  4. I like it so far. I read it all at once and now have to wait patiently for the next update lol. It feels like an old school diaper story which I like. Curious what the end game will be, or how little the big sister will get.
  5. I nearly missed the triumphant return of this story! Thank you for continuing to share your work for us to read. I've got a sense that there's an impending catastrophe headed towards Sarah.
  6. A few years ago, maybe like four or five at this point, there was a database issue that completely ravaged old threads on these forums, truncating the text for a lot of old posts even though some of it could still be seen in search queries. Some posts were left completely blank, as can be seen with this story. As I recall, there was no backup, or the backup was corrupted as well, with which to recover the old forum data. (For what it's worth, the mobile site also has also had an an issue ever since with the ads at the top stretching the page too far horizontally) As for this story, you can actually find it in full on what used to be called the ABDL Story Forum. I don't particularly like that forum anymore, and they seem to be very paranoid about older stories and take them down frequently, so I'd recommend downloading it while you can. I wish I had with some of my favorite classics, and honestly I'm a little surprised this one is still up over there. Hope this helps.
  7. I was just thinking about this story again, crazy how the world works! Thanks for the updated synopsis. I hope you have been well during your hiatus. Any update is worth the patience we as readers can offer.
  8. Poor thing. It seemed like Melissa was really starting to regain some of her voice, but blackmail will definitely silence that. I hope for some comeuppance. $5K is not nothing, I mean you could bribe a politician for that much, and Sarah is gonna extort that amount from a baby? For shame.
  9. Gosh, was it really only 2 days in story? Regression set in fast! In a lot of ways, she's already a baby. Seems her potty training is almost completely forgone, and she's grown very accustomed to the pacifier and sippy cup. Her internal self, although in a distressed state, seems to accept that it's correct for her to be sleeping in a nursery too. I imagine that a typical scientific study might reject Melissa's participation due to her clearly going through something. But it sounds also like the ego of Dr. Hadley might be great enough to be willing ignore such concerns, not only to Melissa's detriment but to the reader's excitement. Looking forward to the next chapter to see if they can bring Melissa back forward from Missy just long enough to have a conversation with the doctor. Thanks for sharing this story!
  10. I'm about a month late to comment on this story, but it's become one of my recent favorites. I'm fascinated to follow Melissa/Missy's voice, or lack thereof, as the story progresses. With the combination of a generally obedient personality, a youthful appearance, and the processing of her traumas, it's interesting to see how little she actually vocalizes her thoughts, instead using her internal thoughts and memories to sort things out. She's a quiet girl in this story, and not just because of the binky/pacifier. I'm really curious where it goes! I've got some predictions but I'll hold them for now and see how the story plays out. Thank you for sharing this story!
  11. I was going to say the same thing. The pace of the story becomes very fast at the end. Keeping it slow and lingering on the feelings and thoughts of the characters is good, especially in the early chapters where you are still establishing them. Maybe some thoughts about why Natalie is drawn to the school uniform, how she feels while wearing it, her thoughts about the diapers, etc. Thanks for sharing the story. I'll keep reading too because I like the concept. Second-person stories are also uncommon so that's unique too.
  12. As I understand, it's kind of like Inception. These are constructed false memories by the person using the machine. The machine is probably amplifying the user's imagination in some way, which is how she was able to control her experience of "baby at 16" rather than "teenager at 2". When Carolina used the machine for too long, it overwrote the constructed memory she had in her mind from the photographs with the false memory from the machine. So now her body is adapting to the adult baby memories. That's how I read it, at least.
  13. I'm a bit late to reply, but reading this story, I was getting a very "Handmaid's Tale" vibe. The way that Courtney was treated at her job and by her boyfriend was frequently "lesser", which was frustrating. But even though she didn't succeed in the end, I like that it still felt hopeful. I liked the lesson that progress can be slow sometimes, but as long as we keep building then we haven't failed. Good story, thanks for sharing!
  14. This is not the first time this story has been copied without attribution. Pretty sure it was by this same user last time too and the thread was deleted. They even have a thread in Completed Stories too. I guess we report it as a repost and move on. By mid-2000s standards, the story is okay at best. It won't be missed, and even then the original is still up on Sissy Kiss.
  15. I just wanted to say that I'm really excited to see you continuing this story and Ashley's side too. Melina's Curiosity has been one of my favorites ever since I first read it years ago. I really love how the mother in this story is so accepting and kind. It's really neat to see stories from long ago being returned to by the authors.
  16. Those were in the actual topic for the Melissa Gets Her Bottom Changed story (super grateful for your help on that!) https://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?/topic/25526-melissa-gets-her-bottom-changed/
  17. Thank you babytom2! :D
  18. Apologies for the necro on this thread, but would anyone happen to have the last few chapters of this story? It seems that they got eaten by the database bug from late last year. I've read this for the first time recently and loved the wholesomeness and simplicity of the story. Thanks
