    I've been reading on my own and waiting to comment until the story approached the end. I admittedly wasn't a big fan of Lisa earlier in the story and was a bit unsure how I would feel about this interaction, to the point where I briefly was thinking "maybe Wisconsin would be better". It felt at times like Lisa was pushing Sarah too much with her overzealousness, even if it was in an earnest attempt to help when asked. But honestly this line eased all my concerns. It's nice when a character in the story acknowledges what the reader is feeling, and Mrs. Higgins did just that for me. Thank you for continuing to share this story!

    Just getting caught up again, thanks for continuing to create and share this story! I've not been too interested in litigating all the ways when or how Sarah should talk to a mandated reporter. That will probably happen at some point, so to me it's honestly like whatever, who cares. (or, unlikely outcome, potentially that never happens, at which point the story stops being satisfying, like one of those old "bad end" ABDL stories) No, the more interesting development to me is this: Between this, and Sarah lisping in the previous chapter when given a chance to speak, this trajectory makes total sense narratively. Her responding to "do you want to be a big girl" with "wes mommy" was a sign to me that she may have only been days away from giving up and accepting babyhood as her true status. I believe she said as much that she was no longer trying to hold in her bladder at the tail end of her diaper punishment, so this conclusion was inevitable. Personally I think this path is way more interesting to read and these ideas way more interesting to explore than just rushing Sarah towards CPS.

    Sarah's mother is either the antagonist of the story, or she is an avatar of the abusive system acting as the antagonist. Well-written antagonists will do things that are unjustified, horrible, and even villainous from the reader's perspective. That's their role narratively: to create a situation for the protagonist to overcome, learn from, and grow afterwards. They are the bad guys from the perspective of the reader and the protagonist. So, if you, rightly, don't agree with what Sarah's mother is doing, then the author has done their job successfully.

    The declaration of the rules is so reminiscient of classic ABDL stories. I love it. This story is so good!

    I've only learned just today of the archival efforts on that site. I've shared this opinion elsewhere too: I hope this effort is seen and treated as creating a point-in-time digital library, and that admins will work with authors as proper librarians and archivists to either update the stories or link to the live versions as directed by the authors. The archives should be locked for replies otherwise, in my opinion. Until that direction becomes clear, I believe DailyDiapers will still be pretty much the only worthwhile story forum and archive, even despite the archival issues caused by the server issues years back.

    Based on how engaged your audience is (including me) with discussing theories and debating implications of plot points, I bet you yourself probably could have enough to say to fill an entire bonus commentary track like some directors do for their movies lol Thanks again for contuining to share your story! I'm really excited for the next chapters.

    I don't disagree that Sarah is heading in a bad direction with her condition that may soon end in catastrophe, or even that her changing course and telling an adult is a good idea and will ultimately help her. I'm arguing that Sarah won't ever do that, at least as things are right now. There are no adults she trusts to help her, and based on her behavior at the end of this chapter, she doesn't really trust her friends to help her either. Whether it's fair or not, or whether she is trapped in a cycle of abuse, or whether anyone is a mandated reporter, none of that is relevant to Sarah because she is a child who believes no one in her life actually understands her situation. And from our third-person perspective as readers, I think she'd be right to feel that way.

    Fully agree! She's watching her friends treat her issues like a fun game (Samantha), seeing multiple people around her overcome her issues with ease (Lisa, whose advice is steadily being percieved both as less helpful and less wanted, and more powerfully Emilia, who at the start of the story was basically a baby), having her teachers basically be unintentionally unsupportive of her issues with restrictive restroom policies in the classroom, and being punished and literally silenced with a pacifier by her mom for even having the issues in the first place. From her perspective, "coming clean" is simply not an option for Sarah; she believes no avenue exists for her to actually do that. It's not coming from a position of stubbornness, rather it's informed by the abuse and trauma she's experienced from nearly every direction, except possibly Desi.

    It's been a while since I caught up with this story. Thank you as always for sharing it! Not sure if anyone else is feeling this way, and my own opinion may even change on the next reread, but right now I'm feeling like Lisa seriously needs to back off. Especially since the sleepover, she has kinda been trying to dictate how Sarah handles her condition. Sure, Sarah's not been doing a great job at it herself, but I don't know, I think Lisa's pushiness is not helping as much as she wants and is just frustrating Sarah.

    I'm super invested in this storyline now. Now does "Child friendly" mean like crayons only? No contract signing table spot? Or maybe it's for sonething like a playpen cage match? I can only speculate!

    This is one of my favorite tropes, now the older sister is treated as the little one. I like the struggle between Emily's resolve to work harder towards potty training and then her decision to immediately give up and throw a silent tantrum after the very next setback. Thanks for the update and continuing to share this story!

    Now I've only just tuned into this episode of Smackdown, but wow Baby Livy is booked incredibly strong. You gotta hope for some comeuppance at Summerslam. If Ruby loses, we Riott lol. But if Livy wins, you gotta imagine she's first in line to bring the title back to her nursery. Gotta say though I loved Aliyah with the pacifier in the backstage segment. Also Randy Orton is all over the show, feuding with both Seth and Brock? If he's not the world champ soon, he should be.

    This story rules. I'm glad the caregivers are not intentionally trying to humiliate Kylie. The regression is just sort of happening on its own. I'm really enjoying reading about it.

    I only just found and read this story recently and I really like it. It's really well written. I love it when older sisters end up back in diapers while their younger siblings succeed with potty training. Really looking forward to reading more, thanks for sharing!

    Like, maybe I'm in the wrong here, or maybe I missed something that has changed with the way readers consume fiction, but why the expectation for hyper-realism here? ABDL stories have always had nonsense in them. People of all ages and sizes fitting into infantile gear and spaces that would never fit them in real life. Wearing a baby diaper that's "snug, but technically fits". Sleeping in a crib for an infant that's inexplicably the size of a twin bed. Adult strollers being commonplace at theme parks. That's fantasy. Even without including items or tropes like this, real world rules need not apply when the author excludes them. The evidence for fantasy in this story is ample. The height differences, the checkins, the unaware staff. The author wrote it, so that's the universe of the story and these things are consistent within the universe. Even then, it reads similar to many other older stories that break from the real world. Hell, nearly every single ABDL roleplay ever written on this forum strays from reality. So why does the story need to adhere to the real world at all? Why are these "serious issues" or "fatal flaws" and not just "the setting"? Is this sort of thing really only allowed now if it's in an explicity fantasy setting, such as the diaper dimension or a world where elves are running around? Or if it's explicitly labelled as unrealistic, something that really isn't an creator's responsibility? (in my opinion, a creator need only create, it's the audience's responsibility to categorize) I know the author doesn't need a defense, and I'm not intending to pick a fight either. I'm just trying to figure out what really is the expectation here?

    I'm personally not really worried about "fatal flaws" in the story since it's clearly fantasy. As a reader, you already have to buy in to the fact that Kylie is a foot and a half taller than the tallest average 3 year old, and nobody at all seems to question it or have a problem with it. Therefore, disbelief is already suspended so let the shenanigans ensue. This is either an incredibly lax and clueless daycare, or the staff knows exactly what is going on but doesn't seem to mind for now because Kylie's not causing problems plus they already got their money. Honestly this is exactly the sort of story I've been looking for lately. It's well written and makes me interested to read more of this or any of your other stories. Thank you for sharing your writing. :)

    This part was so evocative for me. I remember being a preteen and being so frustrated at my lack of input on things. You sure weren't kidding about wanting to explore the less positive sides of Sue's decision. I don't know when this story is set, but growing up in the 90s and 00s there was such a stigma around even the concept of special education classes. If that were me and my parents even mentioned switching classes, I'd be so anxious and fraught over what my peers my age thought.

    Great point. How you steel your resolve after it is shaken says a lot about you. And in this situation, that's true whether you are going back to diapers or leaving them behind. Thanks for the reply, and looking forward to reading more as you share their story.

    Good chapters, very well written. Weirdly enough on a diaper forum, I'm rooting for Peter to stick with the potty training and not go back to diapers lol. He worked so hard to get where he is. And Sue's personal decision to go back shouldn't stop him from his achievements, but I understand how it makes it difficult given how close the two of them are. Plus, to me as a reader, it kinda makes Sue's diapers feel more special if she's the only one in them. Thanks for continuing to share this story!

    I like it so far. I read it all at once and now have to wait patiently for the next update lol. It feels like an old school diaper story which I like. Curious what the end game will be, or how little the big sister will get.

    A few years ago, maybe like four or five at this point, there was a database issue that completely ravaged old threads on these forums, truncating the text for a lot of old posts even though some of it could still be seen in search queries. Some posts were left completely blank, as can be seen with this story. As I recall, there was no backup, or the backup was corrupted as well, with which to recover the old forum data. (For what it's worth, the mobile site also has also had an an issue ever since with the ads at the top stretching the page too far horizontally) As for this story, you can actually find it in full on what used to be called the ABDL Story Forum. I don't particularly like that forum anymore, and they seem to be very paranoid about older stories and take them down frequently, so I'd recommend downloading it while you can. I wish I had with some of my favorite classics, and honestly I'm a little surprised this one is still up over there. Hope this helps.
