  1. My my do you peoples like fighting, kind of reminds me of my cats, but on the other things. The problem with incontinece is that there is a social stigma attatched to it, that most others will never understand unless they are there. To me I find it like explaining my combat experiences to civilians, it sounds exciting but unless you've been there in a simular situation you will nerve understand. After being incontinent and needing diapers for the last 13 years and having people attack me before that because I was different I've gotten to just ignore the idiots and realized, that you can't change others, unless the are will to let you change them, and you don't have to agree to their reality. It's my life and I can live it like I want and the rest of the would can go pound their head on a rock. "All alone or in twos the ones who really love you walk up and down out side the wall. Some hand in hand and some gather together in band, the bleeding hearts and artist make their stand. And when you've given it all to the awsome, stagger after all it's not easy banging you heart against some mad buggers wall." Roger Water.
  2. I normally wear a large but I can fit in to some mediums. I preffer cloth diapers though
  3. Thick flannel cloth diaper with several cloth baby diapers as boster pads, over that gerber style plastic pants or nursery print plastic pants. In winter I wear a onsie but normally just a diaper and my snow leopard svletlana.
  4. When I was a baby disoposable were just coming on the market and according to my mom they weren't very good so I was a cloth diaper baby with gerber plastic pants. And now years later I still am, but I use cloth at home and disposables when out but I preffer cloth.
  5. To those who aren't it might look like fun to have a reason to wear but trust me it's not. Sometime it can be a literal pain in the but. It's not fun to have to carry diapers and changing material with you or to find a place where you can change. So if you wear for fun enjoy, but better than having too wear.
  6. I only use the toilet occasionally if I am changing my diaper and feel the need to go when it's off, like before a shower I'll use it but other wise it all done in my diapers. The VA pay for most of my diapers so it's not a problems. I found the only time I ever leak is with disposable, but today I've been in cloth all day an no problems.
  7. What you might want to consider is an interstim neurostimular devise. I have one for my neurogenic bladder it hasn't elminated my incontinence but it has elimiated my need to catheterize. But I have a patient wheo have them for OAB and they say's it works wonders. It produces a small electrical current to stimulate the bladder muscles either to contract, like mine don't or to inhibit and over active bladder from contracting. The inplantation is not fun but once it's in they work quite well and only require a minor surgery for batter replacement every 7 years, and the occasional adjustment with a remote control. Just a though I'm not sure if the procedure is approved for that application in the UK, but it's worth a check.
  8. I uses a perferated tena super with and attend over it for day and cloth diapers and plastic pants at night
  9. My older sister has changed me. After I had wrist reconstructed my hand and arm were in a cast of I couldn't change my own diapers. My sister who I lived with at the time changed me, also once or twice my mother.
  10. A wet tena-super, with a attends over that.
  11. It not a relief think it's just wetness and I really don't notice it too much for the most part as I think my body is used to being in a wet diaper. I have a neurogenic bladder that is controled by a neurostimulator. So I feel the stimulator more than anything, especially when I turn it up.
  12. Jennifer all I can say is that there are a lot of ignorant fool out there. I read you story and it reminded my of when I told my then girl-friend now wife of 6 years. The two I had told before that left me, slow I came to realize that is was them not me in that situation. The best bit or advice I can give is from Theodore Geisell "Be who you are and say what you feel. Because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." You might know him better as Dr Seuss.
  13. I'm a trauma and triage nurse, working either in the ER or the phone center depending on the day.
  14. Hi Kimmy, I told my old psychiatrist about it he didn't say much. My new psychitrist as asked me about it and his only major question was does it prevent you from functioning in the real world. I told him no, he know about my incontince issues, and then said that it really wasn't and issue then. He said they only consider fetish to be problem when the prevent someone from functioning outside the fetish. Basicly is that is the all consuming part of you life and you're neglecting the rest of it and it is preventing you from being a happy healthy individual then it's a problem. So if being a baby is the all important part of you life and that's where all you energy goes then it's a problem. But if you live a happy life with fairly normal intrests out side of the AB/DL realm then I don't think it should be a problem. I explain it as my way of coping with the unususal situation and anoy problem of incontinence.
  15. I'm latex allergic too, and since I have 6 kitties and a puppy my binkie open and close so when I do loose them they don't get all hairy. I don't like to eat kitty and puppy hair it's yucky
  16. I too am incontinent, so poopy diapers are just part or the norm. I seem to mess just after I eat, why I don't know but can be embarrassing.
  17. Hi peoples, I'm new here used to be yahoo, but that's neither her nor there. I've been incontinent for the past 14 years due to nerve damage to my spine. I like to chat with others. Take care Jedward
