At 17 my father died and I became the man of the house. I knew childhood was over.

I have been incontent most of my life. I have a great wife and two grown daughters. Early on my wife and I decided there was no way to hide incontence from anyone who is in the house with you regardless of age. We were always up front with the girls. They knew daddy was hurt in the war and had to ware diapers. For the most part it wasn't a problem but for a short time my youngest decided she wanted to be like daddy and she didn't need potty training. Kids get into everything in the house and I don't see how you would be able to hide it your diaper fetish for long. Personally I don't think this is something they need to be exposed to untill they are a lot older and able to understand.

She walked through the door of my hospital room at 6am to prep me for surgery. I was ic and she had to remove my diaper to shave me and cath me. We got to talking as she went about doing her job and just sort of hit it off. As she and I both worked nights I showed up one morning when she got off of work with flowers and asked her to go to breakfast with me. It took a little convincing but we started to date. Nine months later I asked and she said yes. That was 36 years and two wonderful girls ago. She had a problem with empty nest and asked if I woud consider filling in as her baby every now and again. How could I say no? This is the love of my life. After all I was already in diapers. I hope we will have another 36 years.

A chopper crash in 1969 left me totally IC. I almost lost my bladder. After 7 years of fighting with the VA I snatched up my records and told them where to shove it. After three different doctors I found the GP I'm with now. He's a former corpsman. He sat there and read all of my file looked me in the eye and asked "How may I help you?" At that moment I knew I had found the right doctor. He examined me and told me that there was no cure for my IC. We went over the different methods to control it and what I had and hadn't tried. He basically told me that the way I managed my IC was up to me. He would only bring up something new if he thought it would help but the final decision was mine. He has helped me through my PTSD heart attacks and various other things. I think of this man as the brother I never had. Not all the doctors are B-- holes.
