  1. I haven't tried very many premium diapers, but the ABU Space just didn't do it for me. It's a nice diaper on the inside, it holds a lot; all that jazz. But the design and the feel just wasn't for me. Weirdly enough, ABU Little Pawz are my current favorite haha. So it evens out in the end.

Just to chime in on the M4, since everyone seems to be mentioning it: I bought a pack once, and I don't really remember it very well. I wasn't super impressed, but IIRC I liked them overall. OFC, I say that but I haven't ordered another case, haha. You can't win 'em all.

  2. Hi Stew29,

The Indiana crowd seems to be growing (I saw your post for Ft Wayne)! I'm glad that you're at peace with diapers. I hope you enjoy your time here at DD!

  3. What I've learned over the years is that people come and people go. It's just something that you learn to appreciate, tbh. Like, yes: you're no longer friends, but also yes: you have these great memories and you get to appreciate how this person effected your life.

It was kind of rude of your friend to tell you straight up that you're not friends anymore. They must be going through a lot of changes in their life, or something. But, the thing with friends is that you usually can find a new one. It won't be tomorrow, and it won't be all at once, but you'll get a new bestie. And they might drift away from you one day, too, but the important thing is the good times you have together.

I'm probably being a bit too dark haha. But that's just life: ubi sunt, more or less.

  4. No! Sssshhhh....I may have gotten Dot on that silly "which Warner sibling are you?" quiz, but that doesn't stop Wakko from being my favorite (and the cutest).

Also: I thought that these were gonna come out in November, but I just looked them up on the popvinyl site and I didn't see a date anywhere, so....? TBA I guess.

  5. *evil pyramid fingers*

Y'all are acting like I don't have eBay and Google alerts set to Animaniacs stuff =p.

YAAASSSSSS BITCHES, GONNA GET ME SOME OF THOSE WAKKOS!!!

Any idea on what your first purchase is gonna be, DD?

I'm actually super touched that y'all thought of me! Yay! Thank y'all!

  6. The thing I don't like about this diaper is that they cost less than the ABU simple. It's a weird line to draw, considering ABU simple is more absorbent but has no design, while preschool is less absorbent but does have a design. So, there's a trade off, but for me personally I'm kinda like "why is it cheaper?" I'd definitely try the simple one day if they weren't as expensive as the other premium diapers.

But I can understand their appeal: they have some cute designs, and you get a mix in each pack so that's kinda nostalgic. It'll be interesting to see how they turn out!

SO post some pics of your guys shit already then! i want to see what you guys enjoy wearing, so I can bite on your style.

    Bite away xD

Bonus bracelet photo because I mentioned them in my post. And, just in case you were wondering: no, I'm not gaudy enough to wear all of them at once.

  8. I've only ever had the space (a sample, so I don't remember them very well since it was just 2 diapers and that was a while ago), and the Little Pawz (which I have several bags of and it is my go-to diaper now). I want to say, honestly, that Space has a smoother, shiny-er plastic shell. Smoothness might go to LP, though.

You can (I think?) get a sample pack with one of each in there. I personally preferred LP because of the design and the slight difference in the feel of the outer shell. But you can't really go wrong. IMHO, the diaper that will win is the diaper that has - in your opinion - a better outer design (i.e. do you prefer aliens, or animals).

    Hope that helps!

  9. I want to echo a vote for the ABU diapers. Pretty much any one of their diapers will do (same diaper, different outer shells). I personally prefer the Little Pawz.
Only catch is the price, but the cost per diaper is much better if you buy in bulk (i.e. half a case).

  10. " If you do order from this person at netdiapers, be very aware that you are dealing with a potential con man that has supported websites involving pedophilia. A person that cared nothing about customers. A liar. A thief. Stay away!"

You know how people analyze Trump's tweets? You know how there's usually some sort of pattern? This, to me, feels like it could have been written by Trump.

Not trying to get political here, I just thought that that was worth pointing out!

  11. ^ That's a pretty legit question. I don't have much experience with pintrist but I can talk about Tumblr.

DD and Tumblr are very different websites. Probably the most important difference being that DD is dedicated to ABDL/ageplayers/curious people, which is to say DD has a very niche audience. Tumblr is open to basically anyone, anyone with any interest (cartoons, fashion, politics, space, science, personal blogging, food) can start a Tumblr and find content that relates to their interests.

While the target audiences are different between the two websites, the layout of each website is also quite different (as would probably be expected). Tumblr users can easily share content of any media type (text, videos, links, audio bits), and they can also search the site for certain content. Searching is done with "tags," much like the hashtag of twitter or the tags that DD users can attach to their threads (i.e. if I wanted to search for content related to outer space, I would search for the tag #space, or something similar), and all content that a user shares is posted on their blog. Almost like a Facebook wall feed. On the other hand, DD is broken up into several sections. one part of the website is dedicated to a gallery, one part is a board forum, one part a chat room. Users who hang out in the chat don't always post on the boards. While we can share links and audio with each other, it isn't as seamless as it is on Tumblr.

So, to actually answer the question: Tumblr offers the advantage of being able to connect with people of varying interests. This website hosts a very niche community, Tumblr hosts a multitude of communities, niche and otherwise. This means that I can find content relating to all of my interests: cartoons, asexuality, literature, art, video games, music artists, etc. Users who post content on their blog can, imo, be compared to kids decorating their room. They want their room to reflect all of their diverse interests, and that's what their blog is. Except they can decorate with all types of media: from text posts to videos. Here on DD we can really only discuss so much: diapers. Yes, there is a lot of diversity in the community in that some people mess, some people don't, some people are furry, some aren't, etc. But the conversation starts with, ends with, and revolves around diapers.

I also need to say that each big social media outlet has a certain vibe, or a certain set of stereotypes about it. FB has (imo) become the place where people complain about WalMart and politics. Tumblr is regarded, by many, as where all the weird kids who have diagnosed themselves with a mental illness hang out, and/or the website where all the non-cis/non-het kids complain about society. I'm touching on a very complicated stereotype here in only like 3 sentences so just take with a grain of salt.

  12. Yea I'm pretty clueless also. I just have a lot of friends who give me tea haha. I have like 2 containers of jasmine tea from China (loose), and that Chinese green tea (loose also). It seems to be super strong compared to bagged tea, but yea a bag helps. If for no other reason, to at least know what you're drinking haha.

  13. Get involved with a club or group of some sort, maybe you'll be able to find out what others are doing // planning to do with their degrees. I went to France to teach English, because I talked to other people studying French and found out about that job opportunity that way.

I feel like I'm saying "it's not what you know, but who you know," and I totally hate that expression for a lot of reasons. But it sometimes helps to just talk to people.

As a fellow student, feel free to send a PM and vent, atnboy.
