  1. I like most of the late 60s and early 70s classic rock, such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and Pink Floyd, but I also listen to grunge and metal.

The bands I listen to the most right now are Tool, A Perfect Circle, Alice n' Chains, Sepultura, and Apocalyptica.

  2. I hardly ever drink, but when I do, I skip the beers and wines, and proceed to the hard liquor, unless I have amaretto. Whiskeys like Jameson and Crown Royal are great, but I like mixed drinks too. Adios Motherfucker, pun intended of course.

  3. Plus, I'd rather not risk another BP type disaster caused by greed, corruption and poor regulations.

Don't get me started on the BP oil disaster, a result of BP incompetence and Halliburton's business as usual. Halliburton is the epitome for cutting corners. They are known best for their war profiteering in Iraq. I will never work with that company or do any business with them.

Another thing that pisses me off is oil prices. The US gets most of its oil from Canada, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Mexico and Nigeria. We get a very small amount of oil from Libya, but yet the oil companies use the civil disorder in that country as an excuse to raise oil prices.

Not only does oil prices effect our entire economy, but guess what truck tires are made out of Drynot.

  4. Don't worry about sounding stupid here. I recently joined this site myself, and already I have learned that most people here are very open minded. I have also discovered this site is not only great for learning about other people, but is also great for learning about yourself.

I hope you enjoy yourself here.

  5. Sorry Spokane Girl, I guess we don't know where you draw the line between an AB and a DL. To me, AB/DL makes no sense either. Sure, you may say it is the individual that classifies themselves as AB/DL, which is definitely true; however, when it comes to defining ABs and DLs, it creates a fallacy.

It is important to know though that everyone has their own trigger for beginning this fetish/lifestyle, which results in a different perspective and most importantly different behaviors.

  6. That is actually very interesting Sarah. I think my initial perception on ABs and DLs is incorrect. It appears we have people who identify as an AB and yet receive pleasure from their treatment, while on the other hand, we have people who identify as a DL who are after the 'safe and secure' feeling.

I am theorizing that this leaves us with three groups of people. We still have the AB/DL category, where people are after both the sexual stimulation and the safe and secure feeling. Now I am going to introduce two new categories. The AB/DL(sex) category is a group of people who enjoy this scene for sexual stimulation. The AB/DL(s&s) category is a group of people who are after the safe and secure feeling (s&s). All three of these categories can be broken up into an infinite amount of subcategories (a spectrum if you will) that depends on how many elements, such as pacifiers, baby bottles, etc that you incorporate into your play or lifestyle. It is important to put all other fetishes aside.

Based on this new system, I would put myself in the AB/DL(sex) incorporating about half of the elements a baby would have.

Note: This is just a theory. Let me know what you guys think though.

  7. I think what we are a little confused on is the "safe and secure" feeling as this is an AB tendency. As a diaper lover, I do not have these feelings. Once I finish my orgasm, I longer want to wear diapers. I don't have an age at which I play at.

Secondly, diaperbrownie, there is a major distinction, it is definitely not a simple scenario, or a lifestyle for all of us. For example, as a male DL, I cannot hang out with a female AB. It would not work. While she wears diapers for an innocent reason (I of course respect that), I will want 'for a lack of a better word' to punish her, not to give her a coloring book or a stuffed animal, and I hope for the same in return. An AB would definitely not enjoy that.

  8. I think it is important to find a physical activity that you enjoy so you don't have to work up the courage to go work out at a gym. Later though you will find out if I go to the gym, that will supplement my physical activity I enjoy. I think a great example is racquetball. Many gyms have racquetball courts making it fun to go to the gym. I guess I will let you guys know a little secret of mine. I hardly ever use the cardio machines during my workout. They are too boring.

As for dieting, no body mentioned high fructose corn syrup. This is most likely one of the major causes of obesity and diabetes in the US. As it turns out, our body can not process that amount of fructose and as a result is stored as fat. Just about 1/2 or even 3/4 of the things you can buy at a grocery store contain this ingredient. That goes for most sodas. Avoid it like the plague.

One way the nutritional labels on foods trick you is the amount of trans fat that is in the food. If the trans fat per serving is below 0.5 g per serving, it is rounded down to zero. Foods like chips are loaded with this fat even though the label says 0% DV for transfat. It is important to check the ingredients list of hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils. There are also other tricks food manufacturers use. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

You should be able to tell which foods are good and which are bad by how you feel during your workout. If you feel as though you have no energy during your workout, you might have had a bad lunch like a burger. If you had no choice but to eat a horrible meal, eat some fruit. Fruit goes a long ways.

All the other advices given here except fasting are useful. Calorie counting works if you commit to it, but it is painful.

  9. The way I understand it is the difference between an AB and a DL is the psychological perspective.

For example, I am a diaper lover. I look at diapers as a form of discipline and sexual stimulation. As you can guess I have other BDSM fetishes; however, I enjoy pacifiers, baby bottles, and probably cribs too because that helps complete the experience that I am not in control, but at the mercy of the top, and it adds to the humiliation as well.

I hope an AB posts here as it is likely they would tell you their situation better than I can. Seeing as I am not an AB and have not met an AB, I can only guess, but judging from what I have read, their persepctive pertains more to the inner child. They want to be regressed.

  10. Any of the donation organizations who show up on college campuses are scam artists. They are worse and more persistent than Mormons sometimes, who are also scam artists. Save the Children, more like take money from the children. Back when I was in college, they asked me over ten times to set up a $20/month subscription. No way could I afford charities when all the money I had was from loans, of course when I graduated from college, I donated some of the left over money to the University.

I am sure most of you have also heard the 'Susan G. Komen for the Cure' organization, which takes donations for research that helps cure breast cancer, has filed over a hundred lawsuits against other donation organizations which had 'for the Cure' in their name. They spent millions of dollars doing this. I am never donating even a cent to these guys again ever. This just goes to show that even donating organizations with good reputations must be treated with skepticism. Once you donate money to any organization, you cannot track it. You never know where it will end up.

I don't think I will ever give money to beggars on the street, but I have offered food on several occasions, and most of the time they turn it down.

  11. Most people say they don't remember anything from their time in diapers, but I still have quite a few memories. I remember during my toddler phase when my diaper was checked for number two's and even for a split second, I remember my diaper being changed as a stare at the ceiling of the daycare center, then look to the right to see another child having his/her diaper changed. Both of these memories occurring at a day care center. I think these memories though, have nothing to do with my fetish.

Several years later when I was 6, I was going to a larger day care center (One of those day care centers with multiple sections designed to cater for children of different age groups). I remember I acted up quite a bit and probably got into too much trouble. One day, one of the day care teachers told me "If you keep screwing around, I will take you to the nursery where you will be placed in diapers and put down for a nap with the rest of the toddlers," or something to that effect. I don't remember exactly, but I remember the key words. She was bluffing of course; however this most likely caused the start of my fetish, and is something you should never even threaten your kids with.

Later I was moved to a different day care center, which was much smaller and mostly catered to children still in diapers. There were baby diapers everywhere in that place. With my curiosity, it was inevitable that I would eventually try one on.

In conclusion, the damn day care centers did it. There was nothing wrong with my childhood. No traumatic experiences. I love my family very much.

As a follow up to that conclusion, these experiences led me to the DL perspective in that I enjoy diapers for their great sexual stimulation. This is now combined with BDSM fetishes, but these came later after I discovered the internet.

  12. I think this is a very interesting discussion and I am glad Jen Harris brought it up. I think I have come to the realization that I am a sissy part time much like Jen.

Though I like my diapers and sissy clothing (anything with the Disney princesses on them is very cute), I also enjoy listening to music such as rock and metal, I frequent the gym very often to lift weights, I really like playing my video games, and most importantly I enjoy the career path I have chosen.

So do I like dressing up as sissy and wearing diapers? Part of the time, yes. Would I ever do this 24/7 given the chance? No Way! Even something as simple as wearing a diaper or panties under my clothes is too much of a distraction and can sometimes prevent me from completing my work.

Something else I can concur with Jen is the humiliation aspect. Part of the fun is being a man that must submit to her and as a result becomes a sissy.

  13. I can vouch for the Cushies. The Bambino diapers are great too (I don't like the baby block designs, so I usually go with the plain white). They are both thicker and have a much higher capacity then Depends, although I have never tried the Super Dry Kids myself, mostly because of the print. The tapes on the Cushies are better than the depends as well if you don't mind the single large tape on each side (One of the reasons I prefer Bambino diapers). Both the Depends and Molicare brand diapers have tapes that stick well, but when it comes time to change, the tapes cannot be removed with out ripping the plastic outer covering. Once you seal yourself in one of those diapers, you're stuck till changing time. At least that has been my experience.

I have also still been able to find Depends Medium Briefs, but not large, at my local Walgreens; however, I also checked Walgreens' website and could not find this product there.

Good luck on your new diaper search.

  14. Hey everyone,

I have been perusing this site for awhile now and finally had the guts to join, but where to begin with my introduction?

Well, I consider myself a diaper lover that enjoys diapers for their sexual gratification. I do not have an inner child or anything related to that, but I do enjoy being dressed as a little girl in diapers and treated as one as sort of a disciplinary action. I guess that is why I said I was a sissy. Though I enjoy these things often, I consider it a hobbie and not a lifestyle.

Also, I hope I am welcomed here.

    Thanks for reading
