I find both parties to hold contradictions between their alleged beliefs and their practices. You would think Democrats would embrace religion as many are very socialistic in nature. Conservatives, the recent ones, performed in a way that whould be considered socialistic, as the main justification toward such actions (war and bailouts) was for the public good. The government needs to stop attempting such large projects while using the money they force us to give them. The government can't make a profit. There's no way we can expect it to pay back any sort of debt.

I don't mean that in principal. Yes, you should believe in tolerance, but equality of all beliefs? There would be no line to draw if you follow that wholly. It would be saying that even the craziest extremist backward theology is no more valid than your own set of (hopefully rational) beliefs. However bad bigotry is, I prefer it over clumping everything in one gray unidentifiable indifferent blob.

Sigh. If he was being genuine, it really was not a good place to start. What the op said was not wrong, but it sounds condemning out of context. He seems to assume that we are all christians and that we all made sense of the concept of grace. This talk is not meant to evangelize. Its not even very important. To give up this fetish is a personal choice that must be addressed personally. Salvation in christian terms does not depend on this at all. I find it slightly disturbing on the kind of reactions he recieved though. This was not a condemning message. It really isn't about diapers at all. It's pretty much saying that obsessing over anything is unhealthy. Remember that all religions must think they are the only right religion. Civility is honestly the best you can ask for from them.

I could spend the entire school time doodling and refine that skill to a professional level early in life. I could even feign incontinence, dodging toilet training entirely. It would also be slightly interesting to switch genders. Gives variation to reliving life.
