Both my primary care and urologist knows of my diaper usage. I expand that my urge incontinence was getting worse and diapers was my choice to deal with the issue. Both wanted to try meds but I told them I was happy with the diapers for now. That was 4 years ago, now they never bring them up during my exams. I did have an overnight hospital stay last year and they had diapers waiting for if I needed but I told them I would bring my own.

[Tips for staying messy longer]

I mess my diapers every day least once and some days up to three times. My morning messes I will stay in up to two hours, more if I messed during the night, other times if in public I change asap. I am very lucky in that I almost never get a rash of any kind.

I would have to agree that surgery is not the way I would go. I knew I wanted to lose all control to be diaper depended so I took to time to Unpotty train myself and now I have reached my goal. It will take time but in the end it is worth it, also if you change your mind during the untraining you can always stop and retrain. My diapers are too much a part of me now to ever want to go back to any kind of control. Yes I will leak or mess at the wrong time or place but that is part of the life style I have chosen.

While I mess my diapers every day, this morning was the first time that I woke up messy two days in a row. I will normally mess within 30 minutes of waking up and stay messy until I get ready for work, but both yesterday and today I have no idea of when I messed my diapers but I am loving the feeling. For the most part now I wet without any warning that I need to pee, I just start. There have a few times that I was wet that I did not remember wetting, I wet so often it is second nature now. Since I mess my diapers almost daily I do not have an issue with cleaning up after. If I am at home I just jump in the shower and can be back in a fresh diapers within a few minutes. If out in public

I do not intend to ever mess in public but I know it will and has happened many times,and will continue to happen. I know based on my diet my messy diapers are always soft and the smell is not that noticable, so if anyone would notice that I was messy I would say I was sorry and move away. I changet my public messy diapers asap, I do not stay messy in public as long as I would if I was at home.
