  1. Target store brand briefs; I didn't want to be so obvious the first time as to buy Depends because everyone knew they were diapers. That was in 1998; I'd been pilfering diapers and plastic pants since like four years old, though.
  2. Thanks for the tips. I may have to give some of the NSC Supreme Lites a go. I just hate it when a good product goes away Probably going to try a few different brands, and hoard as many cases of Attends in my storage locker as I can get my hands on in the mean time.
  3. I got a sample awhile back on the Wellness Briefs, unfortunately the fit not so hot on me. I personally don't need something that is going to hold more than a wetitng or possibly two.
  4. Well, Atrends going all cloth now I need a new product. I bought some Abenas but I don’t care for them, they are uncomfortable for daily wear as they are too thick for me and I don’t like the plastic they are made of. I’m not an AB, I am a pure DL/diaper fetishist and my diapers have to be just right for me. The waistband brief has been my diaper for over 20 years. I love that they have plastic similar to the Pampers I had when little and they are nice and loud and krinkly with the smooth and wonderful plastic backing... What recommendations do you have for a nice krinkly plastic tape on diaper - preferably with an elastic waistband in size large that is a thinner diaper, or even without the waistband As long it has nice and soft krinkly plastic This has me bummed so bad because I loved my Atrends so much ? If i cant get a good disposable, thinking of going to pin-on prefolds with plastic pants, but would rather find a suitable disposable and preferably one that doesn’t cost and arm and leg. I’d been buying a case of 72 large Attends for under $50 shipped so would be good to find price point that isn’t too much if any higher. I’d wear Depends briefs but they just don’t come up high enough on me.
  5. And now they've discontinued the plastic backed waistband briefs... I'm going to try and find and hoard as many as I can I do not like cloth backed diapers, they don't feel secure to me and the covering irritates my skin, not to mention I just really do enjoy the plastic diapers. Now I am going to have to figure a new everyday diaper that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that doesn't suck. I always preferred the six tape design; for some reason it seems like Depends Fitted Briefs in size Large have became obsolete and nearly impossible to find or I'd probably just go back to Depends, I guess, although not really my favorite.
  6. Ran into problems ordering Attends with Waistband that I've used for many years, and I contacted Attends, who let me know that they have been discontinued Can anyone else recommend a reasonably priced diaper with similar nice krinkly plastic covering? Unfortunately the only other six tape diapers I know of are Depends and they never fit me right. I am down to my last five Attends, would prefer something all white and not TOO thick as I often wear them under my regular clothes. Help!
  7. I've been wearing Attends with the waistband for many years, however of recent it seems like almost every pack I buy has gone downhill a little more; the last bag I bought they feel so thin now they almost feel like wearing underwear. I'm looking for something in thickness about like Attends used to be when they were good... must have a plastic backing, prefer plain white. Needs to be priced on par with the Attends, which I'm paying about $15 for a bag of 18 Large for... Been having a lot of leaks lately and need to find something better but can't break the bank, and I"m a DL so I don't really want the baby designs.
  8. Noticed today on an a site they were selling Attends with Waistband with a "soft non woven" top sheet in a different style box marked "Attends Care" with a different logo.
  9. Usually commando when not in diapers, but sometimes I like to wear Silk or Nylon "Granny" Panties...
  10. Damn...I miss the Green Overnights, especially before they added the waistband. They were perfect!
  11. I especially liked the ending...
  12. One morning, I was awoken by a police officer when I was in bed wearing nothing but Attends. It seems that the cops had arrested my sister and mom over a fight they were having, and I had to take care of my nephew who was only two at the time. The cop asked me why I was wearing Pampers, and I told him it was due to a back injury. Very, very embarrassing at the time, but not I get very excited when I think about that moment! Had a couple of different embarrassing situations at Wal-Mart, once I was wearing a big, loose pair of sweat pants that accidentally fell down revealing my diaper, another time, I soaked my diaper, and I got the two telltale moon shaped wet marks on my rear indicative of a leaky diaper, and the lady behind me in line said "Sir, did you realize your diaper is leaking?" She was a middle aged lady probably around 45-50, and she told me her husband had the same problem.
  13. Since [that site] has been around so long, if you do a Google for Diapers, it is usually one of the first to come up, unfortunately. It would be good if someone would buy it just to turn into some lousy advertisement site like DPF, or if someone bought it to point to a page like understanding.infantilism.org. [That Site} wasn't all that bad when it first started, but Crosby seemed to get more and more depraved as time went on, and much of the content got to the point of sick and disturbing. (That Site) is a cancer on our community - every time you think it is gone, it keeps coming back...
  14. Jock itch spray works for those type of infections from past experience...
  15. I bought them the same place I buy them every week, and it is a place with a lot of home health care and ostomy stuff, so they move through a fair ammount. Look at their website; it is basically the same product with minor changes, and they have eliminated their numbering system, and simplified their lineup of product. The package is almost exactly the same as the previous Attends 10 w/Waistband, just the "10" is gone.
  16. I got them from a local independent drug store...I checked the UPC code on the empty bag from the last Attends 10 and these, and the UPC code is the same.
  17. Noticed a change in design of Attends - for the positive this time. The 10 Briefs have been relabled as "Waistband Style," and are slightly thicker, have better tapes, and soft plastic similar to vintage P&G Attends...Nice to have changes for the better!
  18. I bet kids with that name take quite a razzing in school... I can hear the kids chanting "Diaper, Diaper, full of s--t..."
  19. Did a search on Facebook, and was shocked to see that there are actually several people who have the last name Diaper! Being born with a name like that, it'd be hard not to be a DL!
  20. Found this online...Doesn't seem to be available on DVD. Would love to see it! THE MILKY LIFE [La Vida Lactea] (1993). Mickey Rooney has had one of the most eccentric film careers imaginable, from being at the top of the Hollywood shitheap in his youth, to such later, certifiably-insane projects as Preminger's LSD-comedy SKIDOO, THE MANIPULATOR, and EVERYTHING'S DUCKY (a talking-duck comedy co-starring Buddy Hackett). In the process, you can't help but admire an actor who's so quick to put his dignity on hold, with such half-baked passion. Believe it or not, this is one of Mickey's weirdest gigs, with director Juan Esterlich treating this crackpot concept like it had genuine artistic validity. Boy, was he wrong! Set within the grounds of a palatial estate, Mick plays billionaire Barry Cortez Reilly, who retires on his 80th birthday, accompanied by all of his family-leeches. But what good is having more money than God, if you can't live life the way you want to? So off goes the respectable tuxedo, and on goes a diaper, as Reilly decides to spend the rest of his life like a carefree baby, with his money-hungry family forced to care for him. Reilly even hires a wet-nurse (BAGDAD CAFE's Marianne Sagebrecht), builds a gigantic crib, and waddles around in an oversized diaper. It's not a pretty sight, but you'll laugh your ass off as Rooney's fat gut hangs over his Mega-Pampers, he squeezes into a giant high-chair and sucks at Marianne's huge breasts. Amidst long scenes of Mickey and his nanny playing, bathing, bonding, and slowly falling in love, his asshole kin are selling off the furniture in order to continue their lavish lifestyle. Even more unexpected, after a burglary-based knock on the head, Reilly becomes a real infant -- who develops baby teeth, rejuvenates his own cells, and converses with his great-grandson in gurgly baby-talk. In the process, all of the silly subplots (romance, tragedy and family healing) are lost in wake of Rooney's bizarre plight. Dubbed into Spanish, with English subtitles, I missed Mickey's distinctive voice, but still enjoyed watching him at his most self-deprecating -- looking like Lawrence Tierney after being stuffed into a trash compactor. Co-starring William Hootkins as Reilly's fat son, this is deeper, darker and more deranged than the goofy premise would have you expect. Conceived with all of the best intentions, but more deserving of a camp fanfare, thank god it's only 77 minutes long. © 1999 by Steven Puchalski.
  21. These might do OK for Women who experience some minor dribbling throughout the day, and Men who have undergone prostectomies and dribble. I can see that these would also be good for people who suffer from dementia and refuse to acknowledge the need for absorbent products. A caregiver could simply replace their underwear with these, and they would be unlikely to know the difference. The price sounds a little steep, though.
  22. I'm guessing that there must be some kind of tracking cookie on my machine...Suddenly on several of the non-diaper related websites that I visit, I am now getting constant ads for Depends and HDIS. Anyone else have this happen? I could see where that could be a real problem for someone in the closet on a shared computer!
  23. K-Mart has started carrying them again as have a few grocery stores near me that had quit...Will have to check Walgreens near me; I always liked buying Diapers there better than having to go to a big box or a grocery store where I am more likely to get caught by someone I know...(And that happened...My Dad ran into me once at K-Mart with a cart full of Depends years ago when they were still Green).
