  1. Hm, I wonder what gave you that impression. I have actually tried these on before (albeit once) and they were extremely
  2. You're welcome! These are too good not to share.
  3. When Northshore came out with their FlexSupreme pull-ons, I was really disappointed. Quite by accident, I saw that they were releasing a new pull-on, the GoSupreme. I was able to get a sample, and these are far better than
  4. I think you're thinking of diaperworld.org, a site that has since been closed. It's actually been closed for a few years, I think.
  5. Yes, they are. I normally wear Depend pull-ups during the day at work, and I've always found them easy to hide. They perform surprisingly well (for Depend product and a pull-up).
  6. I spend a lot of time in that area of D.C.!
  7. The mediums are now sized as medium-regular and they are a light purple.
  8. You have to go to the help section and look at the A-z guarantee. At the bottom of the page you will find a button to submit a claim. I must, however, encourage people not to abuse this.
  9. Amazon gave me a refund and told me that there was no need to return the diapers.
  10. Yeah, only a single bag arrived. I've filed a customer service ticket noting the discrepancy between what was ordered and what was provided. I'll let you know how it goes. @SquareDuck: You know, that would actually have been a good idea. Oops.
  11. I noticed on Amazon (where I buy my diapers) that both KCK and Northshore Care were selling full cases of Abena X-Plus (3x14) for about $25 (and that they were Amazon Prime eligible), and I ordered one. It clearly says that it's a case, but it seems almost too good to be true, considering that the going price for a bag with Amazon Prime via Northshore Care was about $25. If anyone is interested, I'd recommend checking it out. Edit: It looks like there are only a few packages left. I'll post on Thursday if it's actually a case or a mis-labelled bag. Further edit: UPS tracking says the package is 6.9 pounds, so it is just a bag, not a case.
  12. One truly unexpected benefit came last weekend when I was hanging drapes for my girlfriend. I was standing on a chair, and as I stepped off, the chair tilted forward and the back hit me right between the legs. Had I not had an Abena X-Plus on, it would have done very serious and painful damage. Because I was securely diapered, it didn't hurt at all and did no permanent damage.
  13. I should clarify: I meant that only the Ultras were available for Amazon Prime free shipping. Thank you, though!!
  14. Thanks for the information! I will give them a fair test, though I am still concerned about them being just slightly too large. Once I've had a chance to give them a good dry run... or wet run, as the case may be... I'll update. I would have gotten the Supers, but I only found the Ultras on Amazon.
  15. I've been wearing Depend for Men during the day, and I've been surprisingly pleased with them. They can't hold more than a single good wetting, but they're cheap, discreet and the padding comes up high enough. I tried some Tranquility Overnights recently, and they seem much better suited to women than to men, in my opinion. The protection is mostly in the center and back, not in front. Abena's are probably the best, but they're expensive and could provide better protection in the front as well.
  16. I decided to try some Tena Stretch Ultras after I saw that they were being sold on Amazon in a pack of 36 for around $30. I must say that while I wasn't expecting much of anything at all, I am still disappointed. They are thinner than I anticipated--slightly thinner than a Depend--and very large. I got the medium/regular size which is supposed to fit waist/hip of 33", and the side wings overlap on me. (My waist is about 30-31", and my hips are about 39"... I usually wear a women's US size 8 in pants or a men's 32). I haven't tried them yet, and will update this when I do.
  17. I tried them about two years ago, and the outer cover quickly seeped wetness (after one partial wetting). Has that problem been fixed?
  18. I've begun wearing the Depend pull-ups during the day. I don't use them, but like having them as a back-up just in case. They're easy enough to pull down to use the urinal at work. They're not great by any means, but they're cheap and they're better than "normal" underwear.
  19. Thanks, and I'm sorry. Life has been stressful lately, and playing at being a professional philosopher comes with the hazard of being quick to jump on pop philosophy. I didn't mean to come off as a pompous you-know-what.
  20. If we are in a dream, then only one of us actually exists. I know that I exist; and I presume that you know that you exist as well. If I know that I exist, and you know that you exist, we are not in a dream. When Descartes introduced the idea of a dream in his first meditation, he was not being serious; rather, he was looking for some reason to begin to doubt. He introduced the idea of a dream, and quickly moved past it. Edit: Seriously? A negative rep for this?
  21. Any philosophy that denies the reality of reality itself is silly. If a 'philosopher' is seriously trying to argue against reality, then such a philosopher must exist; otherwise, he/she must explain his ability to argue against reality if he/she does not, in fact, exist. On the post topic, yes, I have worn to school and almost always do, though usually a pull-up rather than a diaper.
  22. The story is actually linked on the Drudge Report. I never imagined that the community would one day show up on Drudge...
  23. I'm always careful, almost paranoid, in public about letting my diaper show. When I'm alone with my girlfriend, I do like letting the waistband show
