I recently tried the special care diaper and would have to say that there are plenty of better products available in the market. The biggest problem i have with this diaper is the fit. The diaper is way to narrow between the legs to be considered a true contender. Stick to the better brands.

Well as promised i will fill you in on the air plus. It is basically exactly the same as the regular xplus except it has a cloth like covering. The fit and comfort are exactly the same as the normal xplus. The only difference is the cloth like cover and thw tapes which a part velcro style attachemnts. I have had some very mixed experiences over the years with the quality of the tapes. I would have thought the air plus range would have fixed these problems but the reality is that the tapes still need work if they are going to live up to the rest of the standards. I would say that the Japanes makers have the fastening system better arranged than this. The tape system is one area that I have noticed adult diapers/nappies have lagged behind baby diapers in recent years. The tape system on the air plus in half sticky tabs and half velcro. Over the product cyle I would expect to see this improve. In conclusion I would say that the air plus range is worth trying. If you need a very thick nappy/diaper for day time use then it is well worth testing. If you dont, then I would wait for some inevitable improvements to the tape system. At the moment it is not worth paying a premium for.

Hi, Cloth backed nappies/diapers are all about marketing. I am convinced there are two markets for diapers. One is the private consumer that will value the comfort of cloth backed diapers and one is the industrial market that is more concerned with cost. The consumer market will definatetly prefer the cloth backed products. They are not better fot the environment but are more comfortable for the end user. Cost in this market is not as much of a concern. The japanese market has clearly gone down this route. The diapers there are readily available but are cloth backed with dreat velcro fastening mechanisms. The institutional market will be less concerned with the issues of the consumer market. They are the ones that have the higher care patients where cost is a significant factor and cloth covers will be far less important. In short I think for the time being it will be possible to get plenty of plastic backed diapers.

Not very nice but packing tape can work well. Plastic pants can also work nicely.

Hi, the abena booster insert maxi is fantastic. But the big problem with the booster is that they some in an enourmous industrial size of like 40 pads in a bag. They are not small and discrete to hide. As much as I love them, I would suggest that you just stick with the diapers for now. The packs of Abriform are smallish and easy enough to hide. If you get the xplus there is only like 14 or so diapers in a bag. If you want to know what is good to try, I would suggest asking for some samples. Many companies will give them for free or at a small cost.

I would have to say the best diaper for overnight use is Molicare super plus. As a real bedwetter i can confirm that the Molicare has the padding i the right places. The only real draw back on the Molicare is the lack of the elastic waist. It can be hard to get a snug fit. When you roll around at night, it can gap at the top. I can also suggest many of the other European brands are very good at night. Abriform are pretty decent though sometimes the tapes do not hold up to a lot of wear. I can definately strongly recommend Euron Form Super Plus if you can get them. They are by far the most absorbent and fit well.

I am amused by this discussion and the various paths it could travel. To answer the simple question - yes there are girls out there. Trust me I have met a couple in real life. The conversation seems to have gone down the path of if people are real girls or not. There are plenty of people that define themselves as TG. That is fine and everyone is or should be open minded about that.

Hi, Anyone try the Airplus Abriform Xplus? They are the same as the regular abriform we all know and love but instead have a cloth like cover. Im wearing my first now and it seems very good. Will fill you in later.

Hi, Remember that most people that wear adult diapers or nappies actually need them. They are actually expensive and I hear the biggest consumers of diapers are care facilities. I am certain that most care facilities do not care for the more expenice cloth styles so I think plastic covered diapers are here to stay. Just my opinion and not backed by fact.

I just received a pack of Euron Form Super Plus nappies. I am very impressed with the quality and the fit. These are a 2 tape per side nappy. They are a green colour and dont seem all that bulky when you take them out of the pack. They fit rather nicely with plenty of bulk when you put them on. When they are dry they are thinner than Abriform xplus, when they get wet they really bulk up a lot. They seem to hold more than the xplus. In fact a lot more. They are similar in fit to Molicare Super Plus. Has anyone else tried these nappies?

As a bedwetter I never stopped wearing them. I always kind of liked wearing them when I was small but did not understand why. When I was about 13 or so I discovered for sure that I loved wearing them and I have never stopped.

I have just purchased some more abriform xplus a few weeks ago. As it happens I also discovered an old one among my stash. Comparing the more recent supply with the older one (from about a year ago) it is clear that there have been many improvements in their product recently. The main improvements are the shape of the nappy and the tapes. The shape of the nappy has expanded. A critism of the older style ones are that they are way to narrow. Now they have expanded the crotch they are much more absorbent. The second and best improvement is in the tapes. Recently I would say the tapes were woeful. Recent purchases confirm that they have improved the tapes. The tapes are now as good as anything on the market. I have had no issues with the tapes detaching. In conclusion, if you were disappointed with the hype about abriform in the past, I suggest you revist this brand as there is now nothing on the market that can match it for quality. Admittedly the price is steep, but when you see the quality, there is real value there that was missing in recent times.

Well those of us that regularly wear nappies will get nappy rash. The unpleasant symptoms are persistent itch and redness. The key is getting the affected area as dry as possible. If you can avoid wearing nappies for a day or two it will help. Get an anti-fungal cream such as Canestin or Lamasil. These creams will dry the rash out fast. If it is particularly bad, get some hydro cortizone (pardon spelling) cream (1% variety not the 0.5%). The Hydrocortizone will promote very rapid healing, ususally within hours. If you can get cornstarch baby talc that will help to keep the area dry.

Well yeah now you pointed it out I guess I am weird. I had never thought there was anything wrong with an adult wearing and enjoying diapers until now... Seriously I think the trick is not to let whatever fetish or fantasy you have rule your life. The unfortunate thing is that a lot of people interested in fetishes feel isolated and cant form relationships easily. I say embrace what you are, find people that will accept your differences and enjoy your life. You will be surprised how many seemingly normal people have some very "warped" fantasies.

Personally the clean up afterwards is enough of a deterent for me to stop messing. If you must mess on purpose, it is better to do it in the privacy of your own home. If you mess in public, be prepared that people might not react too kindly.

Hi DiaperLover, Yes your idea sounds great. If you cant use the abriform to the fullest extent possible, it is a good idea to purchase some cheaper diapers that will hold a singe wetting. Any of the generic diapers such as CVS or Walgreens are good enough for this purpose and are cheap. Mind you, $90 for 86 diapers sounds like a good deal but the hassle of ordering diapers and having them delivered means that it is worthwhile saving them for when you can really get the most from your investment.

I have noticed that recently Abena has improved the quality of the tape system. I am not sure when you last tried them, but in the past the tapes were crap. They are much better now. Thinest to thickest of the brands I have used recently: 1. Depend regular briefs 2. Tena Maxi Slip 3. Molicare Super Plus 4. Abriform X-plus

In my vast diaper wearing experience it is hard to beat abriform xplus. If you want it even thicker, try the xplus with an abri-let maxi insert booster!

If you have to wear them, wear them. I would think that how you manage it depends on what sort of toilet facilities you have in your work place. If you are lucky enough to have a locker at work in the toilets it would be easier. If not you will have to be more creative about it. Taped on diapers or depends adjustable underwear are easier to change than the pullup style diapers that require you to remove your shoes and pants. Otherwise, if it is for the sake of a diaper fetish, I agree that the loss of respect you might face should make it seem like a bad idea.

To be blunt, I think it is abnormal to involve your real parents in your sexual fantasies. There are plenty of people who will do it for you for free and even more that will gladly charge you a fee. If you ask your parents to be involved in your sexual fatasies, be prepared for the fact that your relationships with them may be ruined as a consequence.

Aside from love, we live with other people through economic necessity. After years of flatmating, I got my own place. Far better than sharing! There is nothing better than coming home after work and doing as you please. Watch what you want on TV, not wash the dishes and have over whoever you want. You can even wear diapers with no one caring! Sure it is nice to have some company at home, but it is even better to do your own thing.

Water pills will probably only keep you awake and in the bathroom peeing. If you do not have a tendancy to wet the bed, there is no sure way to overcome it and become a bedwetter. Not that I am suggesting it is a good idea, but alcohol has been know to cause a few wet beds.
