I would argue that this isn't entirely limited within our own community. I'd venture a large guess that the younger someone is, the less likely they are to be considerate of the people around them. The older they grow, the more consideration they will give to those around them. this works until senility kicks in and grandpa starts beating everyone with his cane.

Good evening all, This is most definitely open to anyone reading, but I'm dropping this in the Rainbow section as it pertains, in largest part, to this side of life. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. So. My Sociology professor, author Michael Kimmel and the Sociology faculty staff at UNT, on a whole, define Sex as "A dichotomous grouping of people based on historically contingent, socially significant aspects of morphology, reproduction and sexuality." this definition was an exam question which proceeded to ask the student (me) to put it into my own words. that part wasn't particularly hard. It then goes on to ask about how this definition varies from it's "common sense" counterpart. That counterpart generally assumes one's sex is define by their physical features and sexual orientation. Now, Sociology has opened up a black and a white side to the argument, I'd like to venture into the realm of gray. Anyone reading this, feel free to comment on how you describe sex, the noun, not the verb. Where do you fit in the sex color wheel? How do you define your basis of Sex? During the space of two heartbeats, or three, flame accumulated until he held enough power to rive the night; alter the heraldry of the stars. When he released it, it became a ceaseless blast of lightning, a bolt which struck and flared between his right fist and the Earth. Lord Spoony felt limitless. His conflagration stopped the night; it seemed to stop the movement of one moment to the next. While his lightning rent the night, he possessed unfathomable might. His choices and desires could shape reality. "Mike" he thought. "Hang in there. I'm coming to help". His fire became so extreme that he saw everything with his eyes closed: the Chatroom and its inhabitants frozen in shock or chagrin or astonishment; THE SHEER TERROR ON THE FACE OF THE DOUCHEBAG WHO HAS DARED TO YANK DAILY DI/ MIKES CHAIN, the frightened calculation in Repaids eyes, the scrutiny of the FCC, solemn and alarmed. He had gone beyond fear-beyond the very concept of fear-as he reached out for the blessed yellow flame of the Staff. At once, Earthpower and Law responded as though they had come to efface every darkness from the night. Strength as blissful as sunshine, as natural as life, and as potent as a furnace erupted from the Staff, pouring like the incarnation of his will into the world. He could have raised or leveled mountains, divided oceans, carved glaciers. He had become greater than his most flagrant expectations; as efficacious as a god, and as complete. It should have been too much. Human flesh had not been formed to survive such forces. Yet Spoony felt no danger. He was hardly concious of strain. Perhaps his mind had shattered already. If so, he did not recognize the loss, or choose to regret it. Gazing steadily at the sight of Mikes tormentor groveling in fear at his feet, Lord Spoony growls at him in an exultation of fires. Then he brought his hands together, wild magic AND Earthpower. A blast that seemed to quell the stars erupted. Deliberately Spoon invoked a concussion which compelled conflicting energies to become one. This was not culmination. It was apotheosis. Power shocked the bedrock of the world; it strove to claim the sky. Convulsions that threatened to shatter the Earth cast reality into madness. With a shout of power, Lord Spoony tears the heart out of Mikes enemy, and takes a bite out of it as he watches, trashing about in his death throes, as Lord Spoony the Despiser laughs. A sound more like that of large boulders being shattered together echoes throughout the night, as Spoons laughs reverberate throughout all Life and Time. With a final pathetic gasp, Mikes nemesis sighs out his last breath, and dies. All the world rejoices at this, as the power of darkness is cast down. With a groan, Lord Spoon releases his power. A calm as startling as the magic had been engulfs the night, as Spoon looks around, and asks the universe in general...."So...would anyone else like to piss off Lord Spoon the Despiser?" muhuhuhuhuhuhahahahahahha..............

I saw it tonight. Found it boring. And a lot of the jokes they had were drug out way to long. The last 20 minutes or so were pretty funny, but the movie on a whole wasn't that great for me. Maybe I'm a soulless jerk or somethin'.

I've heard it's down for about 2 weeks, though my source might be wrong. It could be down for good, but that'd be a bit sudden for a site like d-space.

As far as overdraft fees go, you can generally get 1-2 a year removed. A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck, and unfortunately due to the weekends having a delay in banking many people overdraft and can't do anything about it. If you get snagged with an overdraft fee, call your bank up and as them to waiver it. Usually works, assuming it's the first time.

The more that goes in, the more that comes out. Drink more water, eat more and increase your fiber intake.

i've always been under the impression that any community site for this scene is very much nomadic. Yeah, they will be around for a while, but eventually people move on. People get driven away for different things, but generally people will go on their own way, or just cycle. I remember 6-7 years ago, maybe later, I was pretty active on DPF. There were a handful that were active also, maybe somewhere between 30-50 but eventually they too trickled on. Maybe a lot of them hit the purge cycle at the same time, maybe they just decided they would live their life without the community. It happens. Sad as it is, it happens. I would venture a guess, that the communities are best used to get to know people on a level outside of the community. Via phone calls/meeting/facebook/myspace ect. Yeah, someone can stop viewing some boards, but unless they change their number, it wouldn't be hard to just call them up to say hi. Keep in mind that this isn't the case with just the AB scene, it can be applied to quite a few others as well. Gamers know what this is like; any wow player apart of a large guild has seen people come and go, a small core of people usually stick around, but eventually everyone moves on to bigger and better things so to speak. I could also look at this from a standpoint of my own fraternity. Phi Mu Alpha revels in it's continued activity of brotherhood even beyond the years of college life. But still, while handfuls stick around, actively participating, many move on to do their own thing. Sure they may keep in touch with one or two others, but many disappear all together. Yeah, it's sad to see people go, but change happens. Life moves on.

I think it depends on the setting really. I go to a liberal school (North Texas,) views of human interaction are spread far and wide around here. Among brothers (fraternal) it's very common to see two hug each other. Granted, we don't go any farther than that, as none of them wear diapers, but I understand what you mean, and I grew up with the impression in mind that people can do what they want as long as they aren't harming or oppressing others.

I find DS attracts more of a myspace crowd with it (much younger crowd,) where as DD attracts a slightly older more level headed crowd. Yeah, DS has a huge following, but most of the people on there I have no interest in meeting. It's just like myspace for ABDLs, crowd and all.

No, I'd still think and comprehend things the way I do. But it sounds like you do have a problem with some or all of what people are doing recently. Which, if you do, why not voice the opinion, rather than beat around the bush and hint at such a complaint? Or snuff it all together. Up to you, and I respect your right to say it; though I can't say I agree with your post. We aren't psychologist here, we are people; human beings who do what they decide to do. And sometimes we make mistakes compared to the professional stand point, but sometimes we like to say what we feel we need to say. As you did with your post. unfortunately for me i'm an accounting major, hopefully an accountant one day. The workings of the modern american psychological association does not affect my way of thinking, and, as such, I enjoy analyzing things that happen; why they happen. Is there a problem with that?

It comes and goes. I fade in and out with how goofy i make my cooing. generally it's not a whole lot though. Pretty sure I haven't ever said goochy goo or anything of that nature. But on multiple occasions I have talked to my baby like the baby he is. That kind of thing. And while I do enjoy a good role play online, meeting and practicing in real life is something entirely different. It'd odd. the relationship is definately one to experience. Hell, i'd wonder how close i'd be with a baby if she was my girlfriend and my baby. That'd be one hell of a close relationship.

It comes in time. I grew up with 6 cats and never did it with them. I got by just fine with jakey. It is what it is.

Dominating? not so much. I had a girl who wanted to make me her sub in the sack, that was an instant downer. And anal sex isn't too painful as long as you take proper preparations.
