  1. From the pov of the one making all these Frappuccinos', it was terrible. The most dreaded time of the day was this 3-5 happy hour. The promotion was incredibly successful in Seattle, but my god it sucked to work it. 150 frappuccinos in 2 hours is rough when its just two people working it. And yeah, it is now over on the West Coast.
  2. I hope you found a good roommate to live with in the area! I had just found a new place a week before the post and didn't look at these forums for a long time
  3. I walk/bus by UW all the time. U district is a fun neighborhood, lots of parties, great food, great people, crazy people, plenty of 'hipsters', and MUCH traffic. Rock on you Seattle area (and Washington) diaper lovers! \m/
  4. out of curiosity have you tried (or have a available to you) bambinos? I used to wear depends all the time, but after a sample of Bambinos I have found them to be quite a bit "better".
  5. well shoot, i'm in the same boat. I would love to be a poser sometime, er... I thought the same thing as you for a while. I didn't live by myself, i'm just now moving out of the parents place, but I've sort of ostracized myself from the family for a little while and just enjoyed diapers for a brief time (few months). I don't think that I became happier from that choice, so I limited diapers to a budget, I'll wear them when my wallet will let me, and my wallet is about to give a generous donation to the "Support Disposable Adult Diapers Fund." I am glad that I still wear them, but I make social hobbies a priority of mine, to keep my shy diaper wearing to a minimum. I know you can break free from your, let me call it, "maelstrom" of diapers, to a healthy mix of wearing and not, or at least until you make the choice to wear 24/7 by choice and join that club of those that do not pose.
  6. ive never used a cloth-backed before, nor seen one. I guess I'm curious as to how it stops any leaks wherever the cloth is at...?
  7. great replies, thank you. Ive worn in public before, I had moilcares at one point just trying out different types of adult diapers (bambinos > molicares imo, but that is a separate thread). Went out for fast food, and once to the grocery, even if somebody did notice, its all good, I don't know them. And once I got a little carried away while drinking at my place when it was just me and my brother, and he didn't see to notice the extra weight I was carrying around. Im moving very soon and about to have a house party, I think I might just go diapered for that. And for the record, I am the luckiest pool play ever, but the least skilled pool player. And again, keep up the good responses, stories are always great.
  8. When was the last time you used the restroom before the doctor's appointment. Perhaps the pressure was rising while you were wearing around the house, then to the Doctors, and when you get home and get the diapee back on, sit down for a while, and wet. Seeing as it was full, naturally the bladder stopped itself, allowed you to change, and then when you get back to the computer, your bladder/sub-conscious finish the job.
  9. I think Bendami has a very logical perspective on it. While you just got yourself into Politics, it is very well possible to keep a private life to yourself. Just keep your political life seperate from the times you get to be the AB inside. No point in wearing the paci to work, keep that in your desk drawer.
  10. Anybody ever been out playing pool, drinking with buddies diapered. For some reason this really appeals to me, but I'm incredibly shy about wearing diapers outside of an empty house. I usually wear bambinos, they crinkle slightly but I doubt they'd be too audible at the bar. And for the record, none of my friends that I drink with know about my wearing diapers. Any experienced bar attendees willing to share their experiences or words of encouragement?
  11. Well can't say that's ever happened to myself, (never had a supply of over 2 bags at once), but finding money in shorts/pants I haven't worn for a while or have worn and just washed, its like getting a raise from work, great feeling.
  12. Well, after wearing Bambino's for a few days, there pretty much the ultimate diaper. The taping is excellent, stayed exactly wear i put em every time. Absorbency is incredible without bunching, stayed in 1 diaper the entire day, and it was heavy by the end of the day, but it held it all in without getting really uncomfortable. I messed in the diaper once, an experience which i don't plan on ever doing again, but this is a review, and it held all in, a lil' bit stinky though. The baby print on the front really didn't bother me, even though I'd consider myself a DL, it was fun to go back in time a lil bit (but thats why they make the non-print bambinos right?). I don't think i'm going to shop any other diaper in the near future, i'm rather content with this one. The diaper was very comfortable too, medium gave my 36in waste a snug fit, and after wetting, again very comfortable, a lil' thick between teh legs, but that means its doing its job well. PS for west coasters, it was a 2 days shipping, ordered Wednesday, arrived Friday for the weekend. -peace, polyzoidb
  13. I think the same sort of situation would happen if I were to inform my brother. I think I left my diaper drawer open once and he came in to grab something and I'm sure he saw what was in it, but he has yet to say anything. I haven't gotten really drunk around him for a long time, so I have yet to do the confiding in him thing, but I know he would give a similar response/not care at all. and then my parents found my stash and questioned me once, I told them about the "stress" of my life, they took that in stride. But maybe I'll confide soon, getting a lil' more brave with my diaper wearing. we shall see.
  14. That it is Adrian... Anyways, question: After a modest wetting, do Bambino's sort of "bunch" toward the bottom of the diaper (depending on activity etc.). Whenever I have worn a wet depends for a decent time they sort of bunch towards the bottom creating an unpleasant experience. Ill have my first bambino wearing tomorrow and I'm just really curious about this.
  15. Thanks for all the input, I decided to not try the Abu Overnights, maybe in the future. Bambinos should be coming in the mail tomorrow, really excited about that, and some Molicares soon afterwards, thanks again!!
  16. Aye, that is my thought exactly. I just turned 21, living here in the US, but I've been drinking for a few years because as long as I don't abuse it, I personally found it fine to drink, sure I'll get drunk, but I make sure I'm around those that don't abuse alcohol as well and just have a good time. If one is legally allowed to smoke tobacco in the US, vote, etc(the list goes on and on) when you turn 18, just let the damn kid drink as well. I'm more scared of terrible drivers than a kid 2 years underage drinking. Happy berf day btw.
  17. I'm getting the house to myself for a week, and I'm lookin to branch away from drug store bought depends. was hoping somebody who has tried these might be able to give some insight on the general feel of em, and how you would compare em to some others (Bambino in particular). thanks.
  18. How long does shipping usually take on the West coast? I'm getting the house to myself for a week in about 2 weeks and have my first chance to try out something other then store bought depends, and trying to get a timeline of when I should order them, thanks.
  19. I have gone through that cycle a lot of times, throwing out diapers because of the guilt, then a few months later wishing i hadn't, and buying more. I try to live life without regret, so the days of throwing away the diapers is gone for me, I keep them around, cause I know I will end up back in one. Took me a long time to come to that realization as well, but when it hit, I knew it was true, I enjoy wearing diapers, therefore I will wear them, I'm very shy about it and don't plan on telling anybody in my life right now, but someday, I'm sure I will find that person that I can share this secret with, other than y'all over the internet.
  20. i haven't tried to achieve bedwetting, but i'd say drinking enough liquor for me, i can pee on demand pretty damn well, it took a bit of practice, and breaking down my potty training, but its achievable with practice, I agree with y'all here.
  21. Amongst some cool people apparently. Little about myself (Mark's the name): From Seattle, WA (born and raised) come from a Catholic family (myself am not an active Catholic). I'm a barrista at a Starbucks while I go to school studying Audio production. Moved around a bit looking for the education I wanted, and I think I've finally found the school for it. Hopefully going to be able to go into the film or gaming industry as an audio producer and engineer. Diaper History: Like many of you out there, I've had a fascination with diapers ever since I was really little. I was a bedwetter till about 8, wore pull-ups every night and was so glad to get out of them (made sleep-overs akward). When I was 10 my mom had 2 more kids (twins), which up till then I was the youngest of my 3 siblings. And then diapers came back into my life. With 2 little babies in the house (3 if yah' count me ) there were a lot of diapers. I started sneaking diapers and wore them to bed some nights, the old comfort feeling of being a baby and the youngest (lovin' feeling) came back. I never used them for their "intended" purpose but enjoyed 'em non-the-less. And then puberty rear'd its ugly... yet beautiful head around the corner, and diapers became something more, a sexual release. When I was ~17 I discovered Depends Adult diapers at a pharmacy in the neighborhood. It took me about 2 months to finally get the courage to buy a package. Ever since then I go diapered about one night a week, with a few days every now and then when I'm by myself to go diapered for the day (diapers are pretty much my big secret). A package of diapers were discovered once by my parents, when my dad question'd me about them, I just told him it was a stress reliever, he was "ok" with that, and didn't push it any further. Hope to get to know some of yah, Mark
