  1. I use a mooncup during my period rather than just using the diaper. I don't know why, but it feels much weirder and ickier and wrong to just use the diaper, even though it seems the most obvious thing to do!
  2. Dude, seriously, you're not convincing anyone. :\
  3. If it's any consolation, glycerine has that effect on me too. I don't think I've ever been able to hold it longer than about 10 minutes if I needed to go at all...
  4. Ugh, you have my sympathies. I'm happily not incontinent, but I am an occasional bedwetter, which contributed to the train ride from Hell the other day. I was tired, and it was a long journey, and I (stupidly) drifted off to sleep. I woke up hours later, having wet myself, with a huge obvious dark patch on the front of my jeans. I feel bad for whoever had to clean the chair. My jeans were soaked, my pants were soaked, the seat was soaked, the bottom of my sweater was soaked, I smelt of pee - it was AWFUL. And nobody said anything or woke me up, but I was right by the door so a load of people must have seen. They probably thought I was drunk. And I didn't have a change of clothes with me, so I had to sit in my soggy jeans for half an hour til my stop, and then stand around waiting for my next train with my back to the wall and my bag in front of my crotch so the wet patches wouldn't show below the hem of my coat. Wet jeans in the freezing cold are *horrible*. It was a total nightmare
  5. I honestly don't remember whether I wet the bed or not when I was a child - my parents aren't the sort of make a fuss about it, so I guess either I didn't, or it just never made an impression on me. I started wetting the bed again when I was fourteen or fifteen and discovered alcohol. It only happened a couple of times a month, or if I'd been drinking, but it was often enough that I got a plastic sheet for my bed. I was old enough to be doing my own laundry and my parents worked full time, so I don't actually know how much they were aware of. Like I said, they're great about not prying. I've never been reliably dry since about that age - I have accidents occasionally, and almost always if I've been drinking. I can be dry for weeks, and then wet three nights in a row. Stress especially makes me wet the bed a lot. I just can't afford diapers every night, so mostly I stick to a plastic sheet and a bed pad just in case. If I've had any alcohol though, the Goodnights come out.
  6. I actually kind of prefer pull ups, because as someone said earlier, they're supposed to be kept dry. If I wet myself (or worse...) when I'm wearing a pull-up, it feels much more like a childish accident than if I wet my diaper.
