Mach3 is good, I use that on the face. I hardly ever cut myself with it, and it feels better than an electric shaver which makes me itch badly (don't know why...)

I use moisturiser as a shaving cream, with all parts of the body including face. I found it much gentler than any shaving gel or cream and it works a treat. Give it a try! I don't know your skin, but I've heard from a few black/ negroid friends that shaving is not such a good idea because of the tendency for their rather curly hair to grow in. They just clipped close, but left a stubble. If you're caucasian, try waxing, after the first couple of sessions, which will be a bit bad, your hair should get quite a bit finer and easier to 'pluck'. And you don't have to do it every day. No experience with asian skin.
