  1. jdj1 This is Springtime in Florida...You wanna see hot come back in August or September. Then you'll see hot. I live close to Busch Gardens just West in Pinellas County. We have really been having warmer than normal temps for the time of year. March was the warmest on record for past 120 yrs. I'm still wearing flannel jammies.

  2. Well I hear everyone, buying gas is probably the biggest expense. I drive an F 250 Diesel, my fuel is up over $4 already. Just to make it feel a little less painful I made a joke of it and got $111.11 then stopped pumping. And still did not have full tank. Ouch ! Was planning a driving trip to Alaska from Florida next summer, now looks like I'll just have to be happy watching Gold Rush & Alaska State Troopers on Nat Geo channel.

  3. I would agree with you, had the TSA's methods actually proven effective. However, their record stands at ZERO. Millions of passengers scanned/poked/prodded/harassed/stripped/inconvenienced/etc. and not a single terrorist apprehended. If they had caught one person, one person, I could perhaps see justification. However, they haven't.

The 4th Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees American Citizens the right to be secure in their person from unreasonable searches. Government agents are required to obtain a warrant, show probable cause or witness specific and identifiable "unusual conduct" (Terry v. Ohio) before they can search you or your belongings. It was created to prevent the government from just randomly stopping/searching/harassing people as they go about their daily lives. Yet this is exactly what is happening in airports on a daily basis. The last time I checked flying was a perfectly legal activity that millions of people engage in on a daily basis. Just because I want to fly does not make me some sort of criminal or suspect in a terror investigation, but that is exactly what's going on.

Consider this... there are hundreds of bank robberies in the US every year. Yet you can still walk into a bank without being subject to a search/scan and/or pat-down. Drunk drivers endanger the lives of thousands of people on the road. Yet you can still get in your car without being subject to a breathalyzer test.

The government is using fear to restrict our civil rights... and the American Sheeple are letting them get away with it.

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." --Benjamin Franklin

Americans had better start looking back at the principles this nation was founded on. Every year the govt. finds new ways to trample our rights and restrict our freedoms and we do absolutely nothing about it. Do you really want the government telling you what you can and can't do? Where you can and can't go? That's the road we're on, and the longer we stay silent the worse conditions will become.

So we should just throw out any saftey measures and let the chips fall where they land. Sort of like playing Roulete. Sorry but I for on think safty comes first. They only prod and poke those who are afraid to get scanned. To much radiation from the scanner then they are the ones we see with cell phones growing from the side of their heads. Like I said nobody is forcing anyone to fly. Drive, take a train boat or walk. If I get on a plane I want to know all that could be checked was checked.

  4. Daily News

A woman has filed a complaint with federal authorities over how her elderly mother was treated at Northwest Florida Regional Airport last weekend.

Jean Weber of Destin filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security after her 95-year-old mother was detained and extensively searched last Saturday while trying to board a plane to fly to Michigan to be with family members during the final stages of her battle with leukemia.

Her mother, who was in a wheelchair, was asked to remove an adult diaper in order to complete a pat-down search.

“It’s something I couldn’t imagine happening on American soil,

  5. I do not post very often on any boards but I think if anyone has the guts to go on a national tv show wearing a diaper and sleeper and try to pass along a lifestyle. Nobody should be talking about their weight. Do any of us know why he or his friend may be largerer than some. Could possibly be a health issue. I am not by anymeans a real small person. I am 6' and weigh 225 does that mean I should not portray our likes. Well some of you slender babies should go on tv yourself. I think all you can do is belittle someone else but when it comes down to it you would never go on tv. Me sorry no way , I do not have bigg enough ones to do it either. THANK YOU Stanley and your lady friend !

  6. Seriously? There was a traffic jam in my neighborhood today becuase a Rent-to-own Rim store opened up and there was a line of shitbox car drivers trying to get a spot in their lot.

Really? So now every '82 Honda in the neighborhood will have 20" rims that cost more than the car? How about a rent-to-own muffler store so I can get some sleep... or a rent-to-own breaklight-that-wasn't-previously-a-breadbag store?

I can't really talk as I waste my money on historic diapers and Snapple, but come on! Is this really the best use of lower-middle-income people's money?

Although... my Suzuki would look awesome with a set of these:

P.S. Forgive typoos, little dizzy tonight so in bed on my laptop.

my take on this is why would I spend money for wheels, while driving I do not get any enjoyment of looking at them. If someone wants to look at fancy wheels on my car they can buy them for me.
  7. I'm in North Ga. & we got about 5" so-far of fluffy snow. How much you get? I also washed up my diapers the other day just in case the power goes out. Time to diaper up & build a Snowman now.:smiley-baby-boy::D

No snow here...but it sure is cold only 51 degrees out right now. But Sun is shinning bright and a beautiful day outside. We make Snowmen with our Beach Sand here in Florida. LOL

  8. Hi All,

oh what a day I've had I had to go to Birmingham today to collect some stuff for the business and got caught out on the roads with the snow, I was stuck for nearly 3 hours. Here's the bad bit though I had picked up the parts and was heading home when I got stuck on the back roads in a dip with ice on the road, as a lot of you know on this site I wear 24/7, I have had a bit of a bad stomach recently and this was the first time I've been on a long journey in a few weeks, well it happened, I had a churning in my stomach and I thought it was gas but it wasn't, it came out and didn't stop I had a fully loaded nappy and no way of changing until I got back home which by the way took another 3 hours. So yes I was in a messy nappy for 6 hours in all, not a good day.

    wearer 24/7

Wow... What a bummer. Just to let you know the weather here in the Tampa Bay area is about 85 right now at 2:30 PM down to 65 tonight for a low but then cooler rest of week... Don't think we'll get any snow though...

  9. Found some diapers I'm interested in on Amazon.com... the page says it's "sold by" another vendor but "fulfilled by" Amazon. Example: These

Has anyone here bought items "fulfilled by Amazon", and do they come in regular Amazon packaging? I need *really* discreet shipping - even a medical company's name on the shipping label would be enough to set off some nosy people I live with! :angry2:

I do not totally agree with bought from Amazon---shipped from Amazon. I bought diaper pins and a pair of Print plastic pants from Amazon both were shipped independantly from the individual sellers. Amazon was just the go between. Address return on plastic pants envelope had BPants for name then address. Not real bad but could be worse. Best bet would be like someone else said ...ask first. Good Luck !

  10. I just got back from a great weekend camping. I have to share my Saturday morning with you guys:

I woke up to the birds signing and the squirrels jumping and squeaking all around. I could hear the people around stirring in their tents and a few kids playing in the distance. I opened my eyes to see that the sun was up and shining threw the trees. After opening then tent door and getting up I stretched a bit and then hitched the dog up to her run. I could feel the moistness in my disposable diaper when I moved around and it felt neat. I made some coffee and then walked out to the lake. I was wearing a t shirt and sweat pants to cover my diaper as I walked out to the water. I sat down and watched the waves while I sipped my coffee. After a few minutes I wet my diaper a bit more and realized how lucky I was: a happy dog, a nice lake, waking up in the sun and being in my warm bedwetters diaper. What a great way to wake up.

Anyone else enjoy camping in diapers?

Yes I camp and wear diapers all the time. But my idea of camping is a 30 Fifth Wheel Travel trailer, with 26" Color HD TV, Refridge, Micro wave... etc etc. Then look out the windows. Stay inside where it is cool.

  11. As many of you know, I travel a lot for my job, both US and overseas. Well, I injured my leg a while back and now I'm on crutches until I get better. To help me deal with my travel adventures, I have to use the wheelchair services at the airports now. For those of you who have been doing this longer than I-

    1. What is proper tipping etiquette?

    2. What else do I need to know?

    Thanks!

I know anytime I have gone someplace and requested a Wheelchair for my mother, I feel a tip is in order. They are doing you a service that is not required by the general public. Try it next time I am sure the Redcap would appreciate it. No different then tipping anyone else who is doing something just for you.
