A greater percentage of our taxes go to our military. Right or wrong at this point, it helped make sure Canada wasn't speaking Russian back in the 50s at no cost to Canadian citizens. Since military spending is still at that level, our taxes would be out of control if the government was just giving out healthcare. I'd rather not have higher taxes just so someone else can get mediocre medical care that's run like a gov't bureaucracy. Those of us with decent jobs don't have any problem with healthcare through our insurance system, and it's the healthcare free market in this country that prompts the development of dozens of new drugs to help people. With socialized healthcare, there would be no incentive to try to make new drugs to make money, since there's no profit in innovation. Canadians benefit from that as well. And the bottom line is, no hospital will turn anyone away. Of course there are many people without adequate preventative health care. But that's life. A right to free speech is something that does not affect another person. If you think people have a right to free health care, then I'd like to know who will pay for it? I certainly won't. I pay enough for my own and my family's.

I have been told I wore cloth since it was more affordable in the mid-70s, but I only distinctly remember disposables from a few times wearing them, or one time in particular when I saw a girl get punished and put back in disposibles. hence, an affinity for disposable.

One girl there wet herself and had to have a diaper put on her. you could see it under her dress. that made me want to try one for the first time. 2. The first time you realized you liked diapers From around 6-8 I would make them out of blankets when I was supposed to be asleep. After that I would try trashbags while my mom was out. 3. Unique or memorable diapers sightings Don't really recall seeing that many other than the one mentioned above. One time I was wearing a pullup style at work and a co-worker mentioned diapers to me. I couldn't tell if he knew or what. He also occasionally smelled like powder, but I never said anything to him. 4. Turned out I actually worked with their dad, which was a strange coincidence. First time I told someone in person was my current girl, and she turned out to be cool with it. 6.
