  1. You're in the wrong thread. I'm pretty sure there's one up for Cloth diapers for your opinion on them, but this is a thread for Bambino Diapers, which are disposable, not cloth.
  2. Eh. It's not as if we can expect people to randomly accept us and our views. It's simply not a sensible expectation. However, yes. Fark is generally mean-spirited by nature.
  3. *chuckles* Pretty much anything is better than Depends about that, though. They are the bottom of the barrel.
  4. Not just crossposted to multiple sections, but to multiple sections on multiple sites. It's very, very rude. Why not look around the site? This one and the other that you did this at both have sections for reviews. As a matter of fact, they both have sections for reviews that you completely ignored in asking to find sections for reviews. It just takes paying a small bit of attention.
  5. *grin* Well tonight I'll be at Black Label, if you can get a cabbie to get you there (Decatur/Spring Mountain) and I should be there until around 4. I will, however, be in boy mode. >_>

    I'm also alum. Porter, '06.
  7. Didn't see you guys at the club, but I hope you had a blast at the parade!
  8. Okay. That made me laugh. :] No matter what the case is, I'm expected to be at Krave Lounge Friday night because I'll be birthday celebrating. My intention right now is to be wearing a black PVC catsuit, so that'll probably be the easiest way to spot me. ^_~ I may or may not make it to the parade. >_>
  9. It took two days for it to get to me here in Nevada. It took one back when I was in Santa Cruz (40 miles from their headquarters). :]
  10. Back on topic. Miss Paperdoll, we have LOTS of talented and very original artists in this community, many of whom draw anthropomorphic animals. Perhaps it would be nifty if you commissioned one or two of them to draw original baby animals for your clothing lines, this having something completely original and usable without worrying about legality.
  11. That's... really, really cool. Not only do you do awesome work, Turtlepins, but you had an awesome experience. Kudos.
  12. Soooo... can I expect to see any of you out Friday night? I kinda hope so. Though... I picture the conversation as being full of absorbent-padding related innuendo and winks.
  13. *snicker* I.. wouldn't bet on baby-wear being accepted in-club. However, if you're wearing a dress that resembles gothic lolita, it'd probably be fine. Dozens of tourists drop in in normal clothes each Friday, at least, so they'd be accepted. As for what'd make -me- comfortable, don't worry. Ill be wearing PVC neck to toe and I say hi to everybody who looks friendly, as a rule, especially if they say hi to me. I also do Fetish/Fantasy, so it's pretty hard to make me uncomfortable. I'd just be worried about people (especially tourists) giving you guys trouble if you came in baby-wear or anything close so I'd recommend against. it. On Hooters: They have nice wings. Even I've been there (but we have like 30 of them here). There is no cover before midnight, five dollars after midnight. I'll probably be arriving more or less right at 11. See if you can spot me. ^_~ Edit: I almost forgot! Thanks for wishing me a happy birthday! I'll assuredly be celebrating that evening with several glasses of absinthe.
  14. The club is conjoined with Planet Hollywood. It's on the outside, however, and can be found to be directly across the street from the Harley Davidson restaurant. There's... not technically a dress code, but most everybody else will be wearing black unless next week has a theme. Obviously, I won't be "padded" at this, as these are people with whom I regularly associate and it won't be my bedtime, Just remember that it is the Krave LOUNGE, not the Krave club. It's smaller, a little more personal, and usually doesn't have more than one person dancing sans shirt.
  15. Well... I just noticed this thread. If you're all in town, I'll be at the local industrial club at Krave Lounge on that evening (Friday, right) actually celebrating my birthday. Be warned that it is a club full of goths, but if you like Gothic/Industrial/EBM music, it's not a bad venue.
  16. In my experience, Abena sizes larger, but I could be wrong. I just got my case of small Biancos with two sample boosters. Didn't get a chance to test the duo, but I may test the quadro today. >_>
  17. I'm pretty sure that was just a promotion to get the pads tested and word of mouth out there around our community. At this point, it's probably necessary to pay for them.
  18. *grin* Not sure if you went yet, but Lifestyles Emporium is headquartered in Campbell, CA, which is a 45 minute or so drive southeast of SF and an interesting thing to see (It used to be the only walk-in AB shop that I'd ever heard of, but now it's appointment only).
  19. It entirely depends on what day of the week it will be, for me, but as more information presents itself, I may or may not be able to join you... /Obligatory Vegas resident.
  20. Doubt it. They get enough adults bothering the poor kids at their site as is.
  21. Howso? I'm curious. That diaper is scarcely better than underwear on me.
  22. I'd be glad to edit for you, As for credentials, I have a degree in ancient literature, for what that's worth. I know my grammar and am an English teacher (though, I'm about to be an ex English teacher)

Oh. Definitely not referring to the forum as a whole. I was referring to the... community flagship, the one that is purported, if you will. If we are going to want to represent ourselves in a positive fashion, then it would be best to make that fashion as positive as is possible. Editing is one good way to help with that. I don't know any editor who would be crazy enough to tackle any whole forum. It makes my brain hurt just thinking about it.

This is all fascinating and useful, but if we're designing this to be a public face of the community, can we please be absolutely sure that it's being edited? The stories are wonderful, and I'd hate to see them get downplayed as being more illiterate internet drivel, if you'll pardon the term, due to simply caught grammatical errors. A decent editor, and there are many of us on this site, can clean that up given 20 minutes' time if only asked. ^_~
  25. You're not just asking for it for free when you ask the giver to pay postage. You're asking them to essentially pay for you to take their item. That's uncouth, to put it bluntly, if you ask me.
