With the delays and other BS on flights today it is a rare flight I am not diapered up.

This reply is a bit long… 1. Earliest diaper memory I guess I was around 4 and I was being watched by my great grandmother. I had just showered and was running around naked.

Back on topic. I fly a lot in the US. I wear a diaper on many of those trips. I use baby powder on me before taping up. I also usually have a spare or two in my brief case and if at the beginning of the trip I pack probably 6 or 7 in my carry-on roller bag. I usually have a small container of powder in the briefcase and carry-on. Been through wet and dry. I average about 100,000 miles a year domestically. I have not had any major or embarassing issues at the inspection time. The TSA folks seem to be respectful so far.

Got to agree on the Tranqulity ATN being pretty loud and crinkly. Depends and Attends do it pretty loud too. Older Tena were not very quiet either. Never been outed by the crinkle except when changing in a public restroom...came out of the stall and got a few looks.

I am a fan of the ATN's. Good absorption, nice color and nice crinkle as well as pretty thin. As a daytime diaper it is great. Molicare Super Plus is almost stiff in thickness but they do absorb more with nice soft plastic. The Molicare Super is thinner and so probably closer to the ATN and also a fine diaper. Prevail doesn't make the cut IMHO.

I think Bettypooh said it, if you wear and wet, eventually you will have a leak. Just had a situation the other day where I was travelling and wet my Tranquility Slim-line (not bad usually for a wetting and 1/2) and I felt the inside of my leg feeling damp. I wear a cotton brief and plastic pants over that to avoid the telltale leak marks. Well when I could get a chance, I checked as it did not seem to be a wetting that should have caused a problem. Alas all the wear and tear of packing my diapers had put a couple of pinholes in the front of the diaper. It held alot, but it also leaked and my cotton undies were quite wet. Almost completely contained in the plastic pants except for a bit of wicking into the elastic leg band which was what I had noticed. Luckily dark pants and damp usually does not make much of a teltale mark. Not always the case but this time it was. I have had other more noticeable leaks when I have pushed the diaper beyond capacity...happens every once in a while while running between planes and no chance to change. It resulted in a comment a couple of times and certainly a look or two but stuff happens though these have always been really minor spots showing and not a major leak. In the leak above, had I not had some extra layers it would have been really difficult to deal with the leaky outcome!

Well today at work I messed without diapers. A game I sometimes play is waiting until I really need to go, then bypassing the closest bathroom and walking to the further one. As I walk those last few feet into the bathroom I start to push. Usually not enough to lose it all but enough to start it going. As I hit the door and figure if anyone is in the rest room, I decide whether to fight the start and urge or clench and hold (if someone else is there it will be clench, hold and use the toilet). TODAY though I hit the bathroom, found it empty and pushed a bit more. It felt pretty solid so was not too concerned to let it go. Kind of a mistake as I entered the stall there was no holding and clenching. What started as kind of solid and okay to let out became a no control situation. I struggled to drop my pants but there was no clenching and my undies took a full load of solid intitially that became much softer and unstoppable. I just stood in the locked stall frozen as my undies just filled big time (talk about a brown spot). There was no stopping it and I tried as I realized it was no longer solid. I was thankful for the double seat undies but cleanup was a bear with soft poop. The sensation of no stopping was fun and luckily no one came in the rest room while cleaning up. Lots of TP used to clean today's mess up and the brown stain will be hard to hide! P_P

Just got into a Molicare Super Plus after changing from a very wet Tranquility ATN (soaked on the plane home...it leaked a bit).

When I was married I told my wife about my DL side. She participated and even wore for me (including wetting) which never would have happened if I had not opened up. I told my current GF and she does not wear, but basically she is fine with me wearing when I want to. She needles me though when I have too many diapers in my stash so it is not a big deal. I do not share this side with anyone else..

Absolutely! I mess only occasionally and it is probably with equal frequency in diapers as it is in white traditional briefs. I wear white cotton briefs with a double seat so the stain is contained. I enjoy both equally.

This thread has gone through lots of turns here! I drive all the time and fly all the time diapered (not inco). I guess you wonder what happens if there was an accident. I had a surgery a few years ago and went in wearing normal undies but with some diapers in my overnight bag for afterwards and travel home. Did the surgery, and later that evening was very groggy and in a boatload of pain. So I informed the nurse that I had wet the bed when all drugged out for pain in a previous surgery (actually true) and did not want to repeat the experience and so wanted to wear a diaper. I was not drowsy from the pain at the time so I had predicated the idea that we address this before I went to sleep later. Before I got to the point that I had some in my bag she returned later with a few diapers. It was post dinner and they were pumping me full of fluid (seemed like every 15 min I was peeing in the damn container) and I was getting tired which she noticed on her last round before her shift change. She suggested that I put it on as it was easier for everyone if I was to fall asleep and have an accident. She offerd to help if needed...I explained I had it covered. So I was diapered up and did fall asleep, well sort of due to the frequent twinges of pain. At that point peeing in the container was a bit more of a challenge so I used the diaper during one of the more awake periods. I did fall asleep for a while and an attendant did come by to check on me. I guess the previous nurse had told her of my diapered state as I awoke to being checked if I needed a change. I was wet and this attendant (not a nurse) who actually was quite attractive and young asked if she needed to change me. I was so tempted as I had not had any one do that for me but felt it was over the line and I turned her down. She did bring a washcloth to wash up and she disposed of the used diaper for me. I never did see her again and went through a few more diapers that night due to my fear of leaking with the generic diapers supplied. My wife showed up the next morning and we were travelling back home by airplane. I was diapered the next week during recovery as my mobility was severely limited and it was much easier to use a diaper than try to make it to the restroom rapidly. P_P

Secure X-Plus...very wet. I just got my first bags of them recently and am very impressed. They get kind of stiff when first wet though but are very good. P_P

A Depends Overnight, cotton briefs over that and clear plastic pants over that for sleeping.

My ex-wife changed me a couple of times. She would wear and wet for me every once in a while and so I changed her. Never a #2 either way. I keep those for alone times. It was a fantasy to be changed for sure and it lived up to expectations for me...though some parts of the anatomy and fantasy prevent proper diaper taping and position. It was fun and diapers were all about foreplay. Current GF has no diaper interest but is okay with my wearing when I want...just not part of the sex routine.

As a way too frequent flier who goes through the new scanners, I have had no problems with groping or added pat-downs whether diapered or diapered and wet. I do not understand the replies above though. The security measures have nothing to do with the private airline industry. TSA is a federal governmental agency. Speak of your concerns to your elected federal officials who can invoke some oversight. Speak with and write the representatives of the Administration for whom TSA works. TSA is part of the Department of Homeland Security which is part of the Executive Branch which is directed by appointees of this Administration. Any boycott, concerns or response should be directed at these parts of the Federal Government.

Went through today with no issues...Depends, cotton briefs over that and a pair of plastic pants over that just in case. I was dry today. No issues, all courteous. I have gone through quite wet on fairly recent trips and same, no issues or extra response. Really no big deal, but I spend a lot of time traveling and flying so I am likely jaded and focused on getting through to my plane as rapidly as possible. P_P

I have been outed a few times in public. It is usually while flying...sometimes it is damn hard to not overfill a diaper and get a small leak when sitting or running to the next plane with no time to change. With telltale small spots on one's butt, kind of hard for someone not to see if they glance. That said, I agree with many above most folks are in their own zone worried about their next flight than looking at my butt for a diaper lol. I had a lady sitting next to me notice and actually comment. I had been running to catch a flight and security was a killer so I had flooded it pretty good. I made the flight and sat down next to her, I was in the window seat. As soon as we were up in the air and the seatbelt sign extinguished, I grabbed my small bag containing a spare diaper and a few items and went off to the lavatory. I was sure I had leaked a bit and that would have been obvious. I checked in the lavatory, and my diaper had leaked a bit but my cotton briefs and plastic pants caught it so no telltale spots on my pants. I changed in the lavatory and went back to the seat. Once we were both sitting she commented that it was nice to go clean up and change. I was mildly shocked. It was totally friendly and discreet. She commented her husband had a small bag and would change too (prostate cancer) and had only looked at my butt when I grabbed the bag and noticed differences coming and going. It was all very discrete. P_P

Just had a recent experience with getting hot and sweating in diapers which was a bit embarassing. It was quite warm (98 F) in the town where I was and I was dressed in a Molicare Super with the active cloth vented sides (new feature I guess), a pair of white briefs over that and my normal light vinyl pants (Kins) and a pair of very faded black pants. I got pretty hot running around before the flight and through security. Sat down for a while on the vinyl seat and noticed the terminal was pretty warm. Other than that I did not think about it much and was not very uncomfortable in the diaper. They called the flight. I stood up (had not wet at all) and a rather cool feeling greeted me on the seat of my pants. I had been sweating enough to create that wet mark at the bottom of the butt on both sides of my pants. Nothing I could do as it was time to fly. Tried to use my briefcase as cover as best I could. As soon as I could I went to the lavatory to check out the damage I could mostly only feel. Not good. The faded black almost gray pants clearly had those 2 marks you can get when you leak (dark black is the only way to go!!!). The active venting of the Molicare had vented a lot of moisture as my briefs were soaked around the side which clearly condensed on the vinyl pants and carried around to the back and was absorbed by the black pants. The marks could not have been more visible if I had tried. Oh well, nothing to be done...hope no one noticed. In a bit of a conundrum as I like the Molicare and they dont let me down but I like that extra aborbancy and security of the vinyl pant and undies over them especially when sitting and wetting. It seems when hot the best plan is no other layers with these diapers. I am probably going to keep these for cooler weather. Anyone have a similar issue? I reckon these might not be so good at night as sweat clearly goes though so would other fluid.

I too enjoy walking in the mall well diapered. The replies above reminded me of one time at a mall south of Seattle at a Nordstrom's store. I had a meeting that got extended and needed a few items to make it the extra couple of days. So I was on the road and am frequently diapered when I am. I went to the menswear section in the evening and pretty much had the store to myself. An attractive sales lady came over to be helpful which is the way in Nordstrom's. I told her my situation of needing a few items. When I go to the mall and I am diapered, I usually also have a small sack or bag with a diaper change and wipes. That day was no different, and I was anxious as I had been drinking coffee and diet soda all afternoon in the meeting. She helped me choose a shirt, and then go try it on. She pointed me to some socks and other items. I carried all the stuff to the register. She was ringing it up. She stopped at the end and asked "you won't need any underwear right" and I kind of thought that it was an odd statement. I replied I am okay there. She bagged the stuff up and she asked if I wanted to put by sack in the bag and she put her hand out. I paused not wanting to hand it to her. I thought what the hell and handed it to her after stammering a bit. Kind of obvious contents just by feel (one diaper, travel pack of wipes and small baby powder). She replied its not a big deal to which I had to ask "what's not a big deal." She said the bag with a diaper. I just about fell over and was probably as red as one can get. I did utter "really" and she replied I have a fully grown daughter who wears diapers because of a condition and adults in diapers are no big deal. As we were actually conversing about adult diapers I had to press on. I asked her when she knew I was in a diaper and she replied when you tried the shirt and I checked the fit. There was no mistaking the bulge and you did not ask for underwear which is probably the first thing most would be buying for an extended trip. She was very friendly and was totally nonplussed I was diapered. I believe I told her I liked them better than underwear and she did not seem phased by it. She was quite attractive and divorced and gave me her card with numbers. I did not get back to Seattle for too long and by the time I called she was in another relationship. I was most intrigued but at the time was located far from the area. So those that know what clothes look like with a diaper underneath can and do recognize it. I have not thought about the encounter in ages until this topic triggered it. Thanks P_P

I too hate to toss a half used diaper! But I have learned with some unplanned leaks that it pays to do it. I have been quite wet a couple of times flying where connecctions between planes was really tight. This is where being diapered is really great as you run to the next plane and don't stop at the restroom. If I have time, it is alot easier to change on the ground than in the air in the tiny lav!!! Every once in a while I have been wet and have the tight connection hoping the diaper would not leak. The inevitable urge from running, adrenaline of trying to make that flight the airline even thinks you will miss and so you go. Had a few leaks that were unavoidable and on the plane you must sit down...always in dark pants so far! P_P

VERY nicely made and wider area in the seat than Tiger. I am now a fan who also has bought the Tiger stuff - be careful with Tiger as one needs to buy a size larger than normal. On the Specialty Underwear World, they size normally. Beware the plastic layered pairs though...they have a seam between front and back thick layers thay will leak so stick with the non-plastic layered stuff IMHO. I have urged they modify the plastic layer so it does not have a seam in the crotch betwen front and back. They have womens multi layer undies too! No colors I have noticed but I like the white P_P

I asked a similar question awhile back though I think in the DL or Just Diapers Forum. There was some good advice given. I like the ATN as well. Perhaps a little thick for running with others for me so a good pullup option would be nice to hear about. P_P
