  2. Simple answer eddie: No, it would not be, since the washers are loaded by the POUND not by the customer. Which means that a single washer load (since they use washers that hold either 300 or 600 POUNDS of linen) is a mix from multiple customers. Plus, don't forget the fact that some customers had multiple sizes, and the sizes were separated as well, since larger sizes mean fewer pieces per pound.

(If you doubt my answer, I'll just explain that I was the Accountant/IT Guru for an industrial laundry plant that handled the linen for hospitals & doctor's offices in my area of NC. It was my job to process the outgoing invoices to our customers, and I've watched the process in the soiled linen section and how the linen is prepped for the washers.)

So they were checking that each customer returned the proper number and it makes sense now. That's what missing the beginning causes.

    Thanks!

  3. I've never seen them with snaps on Jumpin J, they all seem to have zips. Did they do them with snaps in the past or something?

    Beth

    Beth,

The original jammies had snaps all the way and I think came in blue pink and yellow. I loved the ideal of snaps but found they

were more of a pain and usually left most of the snaps stay. The original poster may keep an eye for these if they come in a size

    small enough.

  4. hi Angela,

I love hearing about your family history. My Mom tells stories about how she

and some of her brothers and sisters wet the bed into their teens. Diapers

were also matter of fact at our house - not a punishment but not hidden at all

either. Mine were on my dresser, on the family wash-line and everyone knew

    about them.

  5. I suffer from Crohn's disease and regularly have urgent bowel movements which are most often diarrhea. I have not been making to the washroom in time lately and have gone in my pants enough times that it is frustrating me. I am going to start wearing diapers, maybe depends, but I don't know what is the best diaper for fecal matter? I don't have bladder incontinence so that doesn't matter to me. Are there any good websites that compare diapers, or any links here that would help me?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

    Betty,

My younger daughter has Crohn's disease so I feel for you. Are you following a recommended diet, taking meds or

    what to help control it?

  6. I have all your original symptoms except enlarged prostate and was written up for codes on OAB, urge, frequency, incontinence, and one you did not list retention which makes the overall capacity shrink. Dietary changes including limited coffee, tea, soda, beer, some fruit juices etc. did help.

Later when in for back problems was told that any incontinence or shooting pains because of my back were cause for

concern. So you may want to report to your dr.

  7. hello again!

I think she would be OK with me buying her a sleeper, and I don't think she would connect the two together.

We live in Czech Republic, and have very harsh winters, and brought up the subject of needing nice warm PJ's for the upcoming winter (it's already starting to drop in temp). She them promptly said she needs a pair of footed PJ's, 'like she had when she was a younger teen' - and went on to describe how much she liked it.

So I think I'm safe getting her one. She also loves Disney Characters etc.

Here are some more options that may not apply in the Czech Republic but do in the USA.

Many local department stores sell adult size women's footed sleepers. Often with cute but

    not toddler designs.

They also sell children's footed sleepers up to sizes that fit medium to small adults. The prints

are typical kids stuff like the boys come in race cars, dinosaurs, spaceships etc.

I do have a sleeper with poppers (snaps) from foot to chest but found out they were a chore

so prefer zippers which are also on toddler sleepers.

Note I spend about half the year sleeping in footed sleepers usually the children's size 14/16.

  8. I honestly dont think the cruisers size 7 are all that big anyway... but i may be bias... as i dont fit in any baby diapers... *pouts* i need a diet...

    -Sophie

For a baseline goodnites over 60 lb. are a good fit and pull-ups 4T/5T fit ok but do not hold much for me.

Pampers 7 I can just get on but the tapes pop within minutes.

For the size 6 bear hugs they go on and stay for awhile (15 - 30 minutes) until usually the tape pops.

  9. Eddie,

I'm sorry you're getting such a bad deal. However, I've shopped for insurance several times, and never had to pay anywhere close to what you are. Maybe you need to do more research before you buy in next year.

I did research it along with several others in the same boat needing insurance and there were not better options.

This is a group plan but I pay 100% of the cost so if you are subsidized by your employee, or single or have

very limited coverage it should be cheaper.

  10. Even for private insurance in America, it's not THAT expensive (depending on what you want). A good basic health insurance plan with a reasonable deductible will cost you less than $150 a month for an individual. Sure, the more coverage you want, the more you have to shell out upfront. However, I hardly think $150 is all that much to pay to not end up having to get on waiting lists to get tests done or surgeries preformed, or to have to appeal to a government council for a second opinion! Also, most GP's in my area only charge about $70 for an appointment. (I've seen them range anywhere from $50 to $95 - though the $95 was actually a pediatrician). If you're REALLY sick, $70 isn't all that much. Trust me, I paid it often enough when I was temporarily uninsured, or when the local doctor wasn't on my insurance plan and I couldn't see spending the time and gas money to drive a sick child over an hour away to find a doctor who was.

I pay over 9000 per year for one adult one child and then pay the first 3000 before they start kicking in 80%. Family insurance

was 13000 per year. this is the price of group health care that you pay the full cost for.

  12. I read about the crinkly plastic matress cover you had. I had one too and remember pulling up the sheet and rubbing my arms across the cover and seeing the static sparks in the dark...I had a pair of my plastic panties and rub them on my legs and they too would spark, so I pulled them on, kinda slowly up my legs and they sparked a bit, kinda cool!....

Thats cool! i never saw plastic pants spark before but most of the time they are under my sleeper or other PJ's except

    on really hot nights.

  13. I'm looking for a general idea of what to expect when visiting the neurologist...i haven't made an appointment yet, but I will tomorrow or the next day.

Basically, I've been dizzy and tired for at least a few weeks. I had some light chest pain (that I think is/was a pinched nerve or something) and I went in to the doctor 2 weeks ago. He did a complete physical, blood test, urine test, EKG, and an echocardiogram and found everything 100% ok. Blood sugar level was fine. The chest pain mostly subsided. I get it all the time anyway, it sounds like something called precordial catch syndrome, and isn't dangerous or anything. the doctor isn't concerned either. So we let it go.

A few days after the doctor, i noticed I was thirsty allllll the time and my mouth drying out real fast, so I've been drinking like 2,5 liters of water a day. One night it got so dry I woke up with a swollen uvula about 3x the normal size :o . It went away though, and I'm just keeping more hydrated. Consequently, I've been peeing more often, and started wetting the bed without waking up at all....which was a warning sign to me. I've never wet the bed (unintentionally :P ) since I was literally like 2 years old. Of the last 7 days, I've wet the bed about 5 times, only once during which I was wearing a diaper (because I'm dumb and figured i just wouldn't wet the bed this night..).

Anyway, I went to the doctor again today to check out the bedwetting and still being tired and sorta dizzy, and he did another physical and took more blood and urine. He said that I passed the physical again, and is pretty sure the urine/blood will come back fine, so he told me to go see this neurologist and see what he has to say. But, what is a neurologist? Don't they deal with nerves and stuff?

I know this is probably not a good place to ask for medical advice, but has anyone experienced anything similar to this before? I'm more worried about the cause than the effect, I'm a DL so I don't mind the bed wetting :P but I'd like to know I'm ok!

The reason I'm responding in my dr. asked me to see a neurologist yesterday but have not made the appointment yet. I did see

one as a child but don't remember much. Hope it all works out - keep us updated!

  14. I would love to be able to fit into baby ones but so far no banana.

Pampers 7 will very tightly fit on but the tapes are stretched and

any movement cause them to pop. Bennington from Italy has made the

biggest thickest one I've ever seen but again not quite there. These

are out of production so look for vintage.

Like a previous poster stated GoodNites will be your best chance.

The current L/XL 60-125lb are pretty big and fit small adults well.

The current S/M 35-65lb are smaller but still not bad.

The vintage 85-125 lb were even bigger. Pull-ups 4T-5T still fit some

small adults. You can adjust the sides a little for more stretch. This

also works for any I've tried with refastenable sides. You can extend the

sides if needed by using the strechey side parts from another one.

  15. I don't know, it seems strange, I can't find any "valuable" information on google about it, except coupons. P&G would not scliently release a new product. It would be a big deal to them. Also, I doubt they would release it under the Pampers name for marketing reasons.

Also, the Packaging seems awfully "photoshopped" to me.

Anyone else feel like this might be an out of control hoax?

The goodnite boxer briefs were very similar coupons first and Pampers 7 on Amazon so with that alone I suspect it's no hoax.

Clipping an Under Jams coupon yesterday (see post prior to yours) from the Sunday paper means they are planned.
