    Maxipads

"Dear Mommy" once wrote that there were many dls into maxipads too. They absorb (almost) nothing, so why wear them if you don't have to? Maxipads might work if you only want the feel of bulk cotton/plastic without actually wetting or messing because maxis are cheaper, more discreet and more readily available, and are a symbol of feminity. Since they don't absorb, is there another reason for a pad/tampon fetish? In my imagination there are people on this board who wear them for fun. Must be that my imagination is overactive. Kermatt
  2. Curious, My hope is that you do what is best for you. You have been through a lot. Return as soon as you want, but stay away as long as you need. Take care, Kermatt
  3. Hi, I'm a dl who's not incontinent, and I'm wondering if my being a dl ever bothers people who actually are incontinent? I want to be respectful. Kermatt
  4. Hi, Why Pampers? Well, if I want to pretend to be be a baby (an AB), then wearing an "adult brief" helps, but being able to wear a "diaper" brand marketed for baby use would help enhance the "pretending to be a baby" fantasy more. In my case, I'm not willing to try to wear something that doesn't fit me, but if Pampers did fit I might prefer Pampers brand. That's the idea, I think. Though I'm more of a dl myself. Kermatt
  5. Wet skin? Maybe using diapers will weaken my muscles over time? Some unintended health problem that being a dl could cause? Does anyone have advice? Know of an article by a supportive doctor or nurse about the possible health issues (if there are any)? Reasonable precautions? Places to ask if ______ is safe? I know this isn't a fun topic, but I think it is important. And once it has been addressed, I'll have fun with diapers more easily. Kermatt
  6. That's terrifying. Did they tell you what was their problem with you having diapers etc? I mean, they're not dangerous, and not black market/smuggling, so why would they care? And, what did you say when they asked why you had them? Scary. Any advice to help us avoid this? Kermatt
  7. Wow, Baby June, you are doing what I only dream of. I'm studying to be a librarian and have also had a couple of bookreviews accepted for publication in small magazines. But you're actually working in a library and have written books--that's cool! My day job is in a bookstore, which is nice, but not as nice as a library. Kermatt
  8. Curious, I'm sorry for your loss. Take care. Kermatt
  9. Hey! I came here to become friends with members, not for dismemberment! I'll double check the rules, but I don't think that removing a member's legs is fair. ::checking rules:: Well, the rules don't say that you _can't_ remove a frogs legs, but I still have to complain. ::hopping far away while I still can:: Kermatt
  10. Welcome, Kristy. (I'm a newborn too!). Kermatt
  11. Hi all, I like the fantasy of having friends who are into diapers who we'd also enjoy spending time with even if they weren't into diapers. I'm only a little ashamed to say that I'd prefer if they were female, but friends first and foremost. Kermatt
  12. Necros, You have my sympathy for the situation you faced in the drugstore. Reading this thread has helped as I deal with my own sense of shame about it. Sometimes when I think of these issues I do want to hide under a rock, and although mine is far far away, it's still only a few thousand embiltes from the sword and anvil (where I turn right, not left....) Runaway: thanks for the much needed "laff." Kermatt
  13. Hello, My name is Kermatt and I'm new here. I just want to offer my support. Gender dysphoria is unpleasant, and depression really sucks (and not in a baby bottle way!). People close to me have suffered from gender dysphoria and, not surprisingly, from depression. So I am sympathetic to anyone suffering from either depression or gender dysphoria. Kermatt
  14. Hello, My name is Kermatt and I am glad to have found the dailydiapers boards. I'll say more when the time comes, but right now it feels good to be in a place where I can safely say that I'm a fairly new dl. Thanks, Kermatt
