  1. This reads like Monty Python meeting up with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Hilarious. And "if diapers could talk, I wonder what they'd have to say?" That's classic. You should post it as a separate thread.
  2. I had to look the answer up, and given that Vietnam vets must all be in their late 60's or older, it was shocking. I was also surprised to learn that veterans make up more than 10% of the homeless.
  3. Another great chapter, with lots of answers but also lots of twists. I especially like the twist that you have given to spanking, which I don't recall ever seeing before. And now, Ian has opened Pandora's Box. Can't wait to learn what lies beyond the locked door!
  4. Was this intended to be satire? The Guinness Book of World Records tells us that the tallest woman in the world is Turkish, her name isn't Ava, and she comes in at 7 feet and a smidgen. Pardon the pun, but 7 feet 6 inches (at least) is way, way over the top.
  5. A very nice take on a well trodden theme.
  6. Good thing he has his driver's license on him.
  7. Ah, to be young and innocent and full of raging hormones. The bathtub scene might well be your best to date. It sure brings back memories of a certain night on a Florida beach when I was 16.
  8. This chapter is hilarious. And I love, love, love Vickie. What I wouldn't give to be her patient!
  9. And the plot thickens! A brilliantly written chapter. Having a radio playing in the background from start to finish, with the lyrics matching Rita's thoughts is something I don't recall ever seeing before. Did you invent this?
  10. Love this story! Now quick, team, find some rags. I mean, this is maintenance, right? Must be some rags somewhere. Douse rags in beer because, as Dick surely knows (it's on page 112 of the instruction manual for surviving when trapped in a burning building), beer intercepts smoke better than water.
  11. So Julie is catching visual and olfactory (?) clues. What about sound? Aren't these diapers loud? How much background noise is there in one of these corporate offices?
  12. Shades of The Towering Inferno! Another great chapter, at least for those of us who want the focus to be on the characters rather than the diaper. Right now, Dick Doofus is giving new meaning to the Peter Principle.. They need to find water, douse their shirts and blouses, and use them as impromptu bandanas. Next, if you can't get down, you have to go up. There are water tanks on the roofs of these office buildings (hint, hint). Was Dick on vacation the last time his building conducted a fire drill?
  13. This continues to be a great story, with emphasis on the word "story." The reality check that Sarah gives Ian is powerful, and the last line proves that prose can be poetic. Please don't let the small number of reviews get you down. This story is so strongly located somewhere around 1980 that it would surprise me if it will appeal to people who haven't reached the half century mark. Anyone younger would have to be a real movie and music buff to appreciate lines like throwing a paperback novel at Rita and Ian.
  14. Does Zack's diaper cover contain the poop smell? Kelly's car is really small, so it seems odd that neither Kelly nor Maddie appear to have caught a whiff.
  15. And the saga continues (by my count, our hero floored 8 guys before reaching the adult diaper aisle)! And now the story has a proper villain, complete with the obligatory brainless henchmen. Please don't let the lack of reviews get you down. This is a good story, with emphasis on the word "story." It's very, very creative, has great pace, and now a villain to pair off with the hero. Perhaps I'm just getting old (I came of age in the era of Rubber Life and DPF), but I want to read a story in which diapers are a feature, not the end all and be all. Send-ups of movies have a lot of potential. How about DIAPERS ON A PLANE? NIGHT OF THE LIVING DIAPER? THE DIAPER TRANSPORTER?
  16. A remarkable story. The emotions are so raw and so powerful, and yet there are all these funny things going on inside your characters' heads. Where's the quiz?
  17. Poor kids. Maddie is going to be outed at school tomorrow, and Zach probably lost his best chance to make a cry for help when he didn't pick up on Tanner's mom's doubts in the car. What a tragedy.
  18. I'm surprised that this story didn't attract more readers. Your characters have real depth, the story line is great (reminds me of Knight and Day, or perhaps Maxwell Smart's first date with 99), and it's really funny from start to finish. You have real talent as a writer (I like the elevator story too), so I'm looking forward to reading more of your zany spin on the same old same old.
  19. The tech in this story was way over my head, but I very much enjoyed it in a kind of Vanilla Sky way. But what is it in Tisha's memories that caused the program to create such a young Miss Emma? I would have guessed someone a generation older.
  20. This is a great story, and doing scenes instead of chapters is a nice tribute to Pulp Fiction. Your characters are as wild as the ones in the movie, and I love the asides. Never in my wildest imagination would I expect to encounter a drunk python in a diaper story. And my guess would be Singha. Hope there will be a Zed in this story, and a heavy bondage scene like in the movie.
  21. What I really like about this story is that you've taken the time to flesh out your characters. We all know Dick and Joe. And it's snarky; elevators on fire do tend to bring raw emotion to the surface! Thinkng about Hitchhiker's Guide, I'm seeing Suzie's spare diaper as Ford's towel. Have you ever wondered how long it takes Darth Vader to change his diaper?
  22. New kid on the block here. I like your style. It reminds me of A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Suzie is the female Ford Prefect, and Lisa the Arthur Dent? Is there a space ship coming along to save them just as the elevator takes its fiery plunge? Can't wait for chapter 3.
