I remember you telling me about an accident at a Babysitters. You really needed a pee and couldn't go upstairs to the loo because of a childlock. You peed yourself and had to wear a nappy. You should have carried on wearing nappies from after waking up at home because this contradicts the other memory of you being put into a nappy at a gathering by your Mother when you had dry pants. Though if you had not been to the toilet for a long time.... Better to be safe than sorry my boy, when it comes to accidents in your underpants. Even if you had spare clothing you may have peed and possibly done poo in those. I (we) certainly would have put your bum into a nappy kiddo.

I'm a caregiver and do ask this question sometimes. I recently changed a poopy bum too.

- Writing lines - Smacking bottoms or thighs: Standing, over the knee, changing position. - Corner time / naughty step - Early bedtime - Loss of privilege: Gaming, TV, computer, and even phone. - Lecturing - Soaping mouth These all work just fine.

We would never do that.

My Wife sister is aware of our lifestyle and occasionally visits. I was sat reading the newspaper. The Lad had his jeans pulled down below his knees by the Wife so she could check his nappy. "[name], why are you still wearing a nappy? A boy your age should be using the potty" Her Sister said warmly but lecturing. The Lad was quite shy to respond because he turned to look at me. The Lad has had his nappy changed in front of her multiple times (pees and poos) and even got his bottom smacked a few times.

As a Caregiver I try and change my Lad's nappy quickly. Though there are times a nappy will sag.

The lad under our guidance wears nappies 24/7. He does wee and poo in his nappy and I change him when needed. I admit wiping his poopy bottom can be unpleasant at times yet it has to be done!

Firm yet fair. I expect rules to be followed and have a good attitude.
