  1. Chapter 42 Danny was placed in his car seat, and they began heading towards Angela’s mother’s house. Danny watched the sights out the window as they drove. This was the longest Danny had been in a car since he had been there. He saw trees so tall he could barely believe it. The trees looked very similar to the ones back home. Danny wondered what would happen when he got to his new grandmother’s house. Not knowing what to expect from the five others, his side along with multiple new giants. Danny stayed silent and tried to focus on the gorgeous wilderness this world had to offer. Mama Angela could sense Danny was nervous. She expected this as she was also very nervous. She had talked with her mother and come up with a game plan for how to deal with issues that came with today and hopefully make it go without issues. They arrived after about a 45-minute car ride. Danny did not know who was there and was a little nervous as he saw Mama Angela’s face start to unbutton him from the car seat. She picked him up and felt her check the diaper he was wearing. “We will get you changed once we get you inside,” Mama Angela assured Danny. Mama Angela carried him to the door where they were greeted by her mother. “Hello Angie, hello Ashley” her mother greeted. “And hello there Danny.” Mama Angela Handed Danny to her mother who gave him a big kiss on the cheek. She then checked his diaper. “Angela, Ashley he is absolutely soaked. Why wasn’t he changed before you left?” “He was clean when we left,” Mama Angela defended herself. “He had just breastfed, so it makes sense that it goes right through him. Still, it is a lot for less than an hour.” “Makes sense to me with all the trauma his bodies been through,” the grandmother said. “Which is why you should be more careful with him right now, but don’t worry Danny, I am going to take care of this right now.” Danny was carried inside and laid down on a changing table in the living room. After a diaper change filled with cooing, his new adopted grandmother picked him back up without putting his overalls back on, leaving him in just a t-shirt and diaper. Danny was not happy about not having anything covering his lower half except his diaper. Danny was not going to say anything, however. He needed to pick his battles. While Danny was not going to put up a fight his discomfort was noticed by Mama Angela “Mom,” Mama Angela said trying to find a balance between being respectful to her mother and being assertive. “Danny isn’t comfortable without pants yet.” Danny’s new grandmother quickly returned to the changing table to put the overalls back on “Danny,” she said looking him in the eyes. “If you feel uncomfortable about things you have to tell me. I am not a mind reader and I want you to be comfortable. I might not always be able to make you comfortable, but I am always willing to try and help you. Okay sweetie.” “Okay,” Danny replied but not sure if he should. All this baby stuff makes him feel uncomfortable. “Let’s explore the rest of the house,” she cooed to him. And she showed him around the house but much of it was uninteresting to Danny as the upstairs was clearly blocked off so he would rarely be up there. The only room she bothered to show him up there was a nursery with plain white walls with teddy bear decals and a white crib. The first room that had something interesting was the kitchen. He noticed six highchairs. Each of them seemed custom made and different colors. The seat was very much cushioned and each of them had writing he could not read. “What do the chairs say?” Danny asked. Causing the older woman holding him to smirk. “The pink one says Willow,” his new grandmother said. “The yellow is Heather, the red is Ruby, the blue one says Wally, the orange one says Freddy and the green one says Danny.” She cuddled Danny a little closer after revealing the green one had his name on it. “Why?” Danny asked. “So you know you are always welcome here,” the grandmother cooed back at him. Danny did not get too much time to think about what he had just been told before being carried into the next room. The room was very large even for amazon standards, but the first thing Danny noticed about it was that it was divided. The front took up maybe 10% of the room and had a TV mounted to the wall and a few chairs. Then baby gates were set up and the next 90 percent was clearly set up for the littles. It had more toys than a small daycare center would all neatly put away in various bins and shelves. Among the toys Danny noticed stuffed animals, action figures, dolls, board games and baby learning toys. One of the bookshelves was also filled with books but Danny could not see what the books were from his angle. The furniture in the room was a few baby swings, a play kitchen, a couple of step stools, several bean bag chairs and two tables sized for people his size with plastic chairs. Danny noticed a few empty shelves near one of the tables. “And this is the family room. This is probably where you will spend most of your time at my house. Now that you have seen the house, you are free to do whatever you want.” “Not anything,” Mama Angela warned. “Same rules apply as at home. Right now let’s stay off the leg as much as possible and don’t be destructive.” “Show a little faith in the guy,” Angela’s mother scolded her daughter. “He’s been a really good boy so far, so I think he knows what is right and wrong. Angela’s mother, still holding Danny with one arm, opened the gate and walked in. “Anything you want to check out Danny?” “Can I see the books on the shelf?” Danny asked. “Of course,” the grandmother cooed. Danny had already noticed while Mama Angela and Ashley tried to talk to him like an adult most of the time, grandma had no such intention. “Are you a big reader?” “No,” Danny said honestly. “Just curious.” “Well, why don’t you take a look,” she said as she put him down. Danny noticed that the books were in English that he could see. The books in the giant’s native language were on the top where he would have trouble reaching even with the stools. The bookshelf had a wide variety of books, most of which he had never heard of but the ones he had were a wide variety like The Hungry Caterpillar, National geographic books on various animals, Sherlock Holmes and Lord of the Rings. “Danny why don’t you pick out a book to read while I get lunch ready,” the grandmother suggested. Danny picked a nonfiction book on the history of sports in this dimension. His new grandmother put him down on a beanbag chair before retreating to the kitchen to prepare lunch. He expected it to be an adult book but was disappointed to realize it was for middle schoolers. With that information Danny paid more attention to his caregivers. He noticed that Ashley was not in the room anymore. He assumed she was probably in the kitchen with Angela’s mother. Angela, however, had sat in the chair in the front of the room. She was clearly watching Danny all the time he looked at her. Angela was keeping her eye on Danny right now. He had already had such a tough day and she knew it could get even tougher. She saw how often Danny seemed to be looking in her direction and wondered if he was struggling with the book. She knew that there could have been other reasons though and decided not to intervene without him asking although she hoped he would ask for help. Lunch was ready quickly and Angela’s mother returned for Danny. She put the book on a table for him and carried him to the kitchen and put him in the highchair that she claimed said Danny. Danny found it to be extremely comfortable as a cut-up grilled cheese sandwich was placed in front of him. “Do you need help, or can you feed yourself,” the grandmother asked. “I can feed myself,” Danny spoke up before Mama Angela could make her decision. “Okay sweetie,” the grandmother said. “Remember your stomach is still recovering from the medicine. Eat slowly.” Danny ate slowly. He proudly watched as Mama Angela stewed watching him feed himself. He knew she wanted to feed him and took his win. When he finished grandma brought a bottle of milk over and took him to the couch in her living room. She cradled him in her arms and brought the bottle to his lips. Danny reached for the bottle but the grandmother pulled it out of his reach. “Let me hold this for you,” the grandmother cooed. “You just focus on drinking.” Danny let it be and continued to drink his bottle in his new grandmother’s arms. “After he finishes his bottle where do you think he should take his name?” Mama Angela asked her mother. “I’m not taking a nap,” Danny protested. “Don’t be fussy sweetie,” Mama Angela said. “You need a nap.” “I don’t need a nap,” Danny argued. Which caused Mama Angela to sigh. She was about to get back into the conversation, but her mother spoke first. “If he says he doesn’t need a nap then he doesn’t have to take one,” she said confusing her daughter. “Despite that I do like to have quiet time after lunch so let’s find something for you to do.” His new grandmother carried him to the couch and then put him in a swing. She turned it on. “Does this feel comfortable Danny?” “It does,” Danny replied. “Perfect,” his grandmother replied. “I’ll put on some music, and we can have a little bit of a calm time.” She did as she said, putting on some quiet music and turned down the lights. Danny realized she thought he would fall asleep in the swing and was determined to not let that happen. Despite his determination he was asleep in a matter of minutes. Angela quietly exited the room once she was sure Danny was asleep. She understood what her mother did, but she felt like she overstepped. Despite that she would not argue about it with her mother. She had heard her sisters try to tell her mother that exact argument before and knew it would end with her mother saying my house my rules. Plus, Danny is down taking his nap so no argument could be made that he still needs his nap. She entered the kitchen where her mother and Ashley were talking. “I think Danny will be fine,” her mother assured her. “Based on my conversation with Ashley it sounds like he went through a lot of traumas and will have a rough adjustment period, but I think with a lot of love and people who support him he will be able to get over it.” “I hope so,” Angela said. “He seems so sweet sometimes but other times he just seems depressed. I feel like he is hiding things.” “He is,” Angela’s mother told her. “I’m sorry to tell you but you don’t win anyone’s full trust in less than a week. He is going to be cautious and with him he seems smart so he will carefully consider what he says and does to protect himself. He won’t fully open up until he realizes he doesn’t have to protect himself because you will keep him safe. I think meeting his cousins will help more than you realize especially Ruby.” “I hope so,” Angela said. “Now let’s grab some cold cuts make some sandwiches and go back and keep an eye on your little one.” They did just that and to nobody’s surprise Danny was still out like a light. They ate until they heard the front door open. “Nobodies supposed to be here yet,” Angela said puzzled. “No, they are early,” her mother noted, “But that Maddie’s crew for sure, I can tell by the footsteps, hopefully Danny has slept long enough. Angela looked; Danny had only been asleep for about a half hour.
  2. Sorry it has been awhile. Hopefully will get back to posting with consistency Chapter 41 Angela had eventually gone to bed, but she did not get much more sleep. She was worried about Danny. Ashley seemed a bit distant today, but she had not worried too much about that. She could deal with that issue later. The little boy had been so frightened by his dream that she was worried about how he would be when he woke up. She had swaddled him before she put him down so that he would not struggle during the night and hurt himself. She was not waking Danny up today. He could sleep as long as he needed. If it changed plans for her and her family so, be it. She had already informed all of her family about Danny’s rough night, and they all knew plans were subject to change depending on Danny’s emotional state. Angela heard Danny wake up and rushed in to check on him. He seemed confused about being swaddled but not freaking out. She rushed over and picked him out of the blanket. He was still dressed in only a thick diaper that Angela checked, and it was soaked and messy but not leaking. She expected at much as it was the first time, he was breastfed from the source which makes it more potent. “Good morning sleepyhead,” Mama Angela cooed. “How are you feeling this morning?” “Good,” Danny said embarrassed as he remembered last night. “Sorry about last night. I did not mean to wake anyone.” “Danny did you purposely have a nightmare?” Mama Angela asked in a tone normally reserved for small children. “No,” Danny said. “It is not something we can control.” Danny was now confused, could amazons or littles from this dimension control their dreams. “Exactly it was nothing you could control,” Mama Angela pointed out. “So, you should not be sorry. It is our job to take care of you. I would be upset if you had a nightmare like that and were that scared and hid it from us. Now let’s get you changed and ready for a yummy breakfast.” Danny was carried to the changing table where his admittedly uncomfortable diaper was taken off and she began wiping him. “Good thing we have these thick diapers for little Danny to wear to bed,” Mama Angela cooed. “Otherwise, all this mess might have made it to the bed, and nobody likes a wet or poopy bed.” Danny blushed at that comment. He ignored it completely as she continued changing him. Once she had him wiped, she decided to blow on his belly to get Danny laughing at least. She finished taping the new diaper on. She carried him downstairs in just a diaper and sat him in his highchair. “Um,” Danny said. “Aren’t you going to get me dressed?” “Not right now Danny,” Mama Angela told him. “I don’t want you getting vomit or food on your clothes before we take you to grandma’s house.” “But,” Danny tried to protest. Before he could finish his sentence, he got another surprise. Mama Angela had a bowl of scrambled eggs being brought over to the highchair. “Danny it is your first time eating solid food since coming to this dimension,” Mama Angela explained. “If you throw up it is a lot easier to clean you up without a shirt. As soon as you are done eating, I will get you dressed.” “Fine,” Danny said as he reached for the spoon, only for the bowl to be pulled out of his reach. “Nope,” Mama Angela said. “I am going to feed you nice and slow to make sure your tummy is okay.” Danny rolled his eyes but did not say anything. Mama Angela noticed his annoyance but did not say or do anything about it. She just started to slowly feed her little boy. She assumed he was fussy because he was hungry and did not get the best night’s sleep. Danny complied with the feeding because it was the first solid food, they had offered him since being here. He did not want to go back to baby food again. Once Danny finished his eggs, Mama Angela picked him up and took him to a chair in the living room. She pulled up her shirt to reveal a nursing bra. She tried to guide Danny to her breast, but he resisted. “Come on Danny,” Mama Angela cooed. “Drink up.” “No thank you,” Danny replied. “I can just take a bottle. No need to put yourself out.” “It is fine Danny,” Mama Angela tried to reassure him. “It is much easier this way than having to pump it and put it in a bottle. Plus, it is healthier for you to have it from the source.” “Or I can have normal milk like before,” Danny said. “Danny,” Mama Angela cooed. “You have been drinking breast milk since you got to this dimension. It has the highest nutritional value of any drink and with how bad your stomach was we needed to make sure you got enough nutrients. I know you feel a lot better but your still on a limited diet so you will drink the milk now drink up.” Danny still refused to drink the breastmilk. He was now annoyed at Mama Angela for not ever mentioning it was breastmilk but realized he never asked. He wondered if she would have answered truthfully if he even thought of asking. He still would not drink now that he knew. Mama Angela sighed. This is why she never told Danny the truth about what he was drinking. She knew for his own health. She hated doing it, but she started tickling his foot and when he began laughing, she put her breast in his mouth. Danny tried to not drink but she was not letting him pull his head away from her breast. “Sweetie,” Mama Angela cooed. “You need to stop fussing and drink. I am not letting you pull away and before you even think of trying it your teeth will hurt a little, but they are not strong enough to break the skin or make me let you go. The easiest way is to just get it over with and drink your milk. Don’t make this any harder on the two of us than it must be. Mama Angela looked to her wife for support, but Ashley look was one of I told you so. Angela knew that Danny’s was more likely cranky due to his bad night, but she needed him to drink and take a long nap in order to be himself when he meets his cousins. Danny knew he would be in serious trouble if he bit her. He still did not want to drink but he was struggling to find another option. He ended up drinking a little and once he started, he could not stop drinking. He suckled as Mama Angela cooed praises to him. He drank one breast and Mama Angela switched him to her other breast where he continued drinking. When he finished, she burped him and took him upstairs. “Now let’s get dressed and get on the road,” Mama Angela cooed as she put him down on the changing table and went into his dresser. Danny was worried about what she would pull out but was semi relieved when he she pulled out a plain white tee shirt and a pair of overalls. She quickly got him dressed. “Well Danny,” Mama Angela cooed. “Let’s go”
  3. Chapter 40 Danny was on a street he did not know walking to where he did not know but all that mattered was that he was free. He heard someone yell and ran towards the scream. He ran into an alley but there he found three 15ft tall men. The same attackers who beat him so badly, he had to go to a different dimension. “You escaped once but this time we have you,” the first said. Danny tried to run but with their long legs they were easily able to catch him. “You are not going anywhere today,” the second man yelled as he blocked off Danny’s last chance for escape. “Look at how pathetic he is,” the third said. “He is such a baby he is peeing himself. Too bad your mommy is not here to save you.” Every way to flee was cutoff. Danny prepared to fight back against his attackers. He was terrified. He just wanted to be somewhere safe. Ashley woke up when she heard weird noises. She looked at the clock and saw it was a little before 4 am. She realized they were coming from the baby monitor in Danny’s nursery. By the noises he was making he was clearly having a nightmare. Ashley looked over at her wife and realized she was sound asleep. She decided to wake her. “Angela,” Ashley said as she gently shook her wife. “Your little needs you.” Angela awoke and instantly heard Danny’s nightmare on the baby monitor and jumped out of bed. “Ash let’s go.” She basically ran to the nursery where he was tossing and turning crazily. She tried to softly talk to Danny while he was having the nightmare, but he did not calm down. She decided to pick him up but as soon as she touched him, he started to freak out more, tossing and turning more. Angela knew she should not wake someone having a nightmare, but she was worried he was going to hurt himself. She started shaking Danny “Danny you are having a nightmare I need you to wake up,” she told him. Immediately she saw him shake and throw a punch that hit her on the arm. She was not surprised by the fact that he threw a punch. He was clearly disoriented, scared and probably did not recognize where he was. What she was not expecting was that it actually hurt. Most littles either did not know how to throw a punch properly or did not have the strength behind it to actually hurt an amazon. Angela just realized how strong Danny was. The look on Ashley face was a mix of fear and anger. Angela waited for Danny to figure out what was going on. Danny woke up in a dark room. He knew he had just punched someone, but something felt off about it. He realized he was in the nursery. He looked and saw Mama Angela standing over him. He realized he had just hit her not someone attacking him. He was instantly scared of repercussions of this. He was trying to get himself back under control, but his body was still shaking and his heart was beating a mile a minute. “Danny,” Mama Angela asked. “Are you ok?” “Yeah,” Danny replied still trying to regain his composure. “Just give me a couple minutes. Did I hit you?” Danny asked pretending to not know the answer. “Yeah,” Mama Angela admitted as she picked him up and began rubbing his back. “But it was my fault. You do not wake someone who is having a nightmare.” “Sorry,” Danny said. “It is fine Danny,” Angela told him. “You are not in any trouble.” Danny felt his body start to calm down in her arms and Angela felt his body loosen up as well. “Danny,” Mama Angela cooed. “Do you want to tell me what the dream that scared you so much was.” She had to know what scared him that badly to know how to help him best. “I was back in the alley where I got assaulted by my attackers,” Danny told her as he started to tense up again. “Only they were now the size of amazons instead of of of you.” “It’s okay Danny,” Mama Angela said as he started to get overwhelmed. “Mama Angela has got you. Nobody will hurt you.” She felt herself get wet and noticed that Danny had leaked. “Your diaper is leaking Danny. Let’s get you changed quick.” Mama Angela laid Danny down on the changing table and took his pajamas off completely. He still looked off to her. She would definitely be talking to Maddie tomorrow about this. She wondered if Danny would even be in the right state of mind to go anywhere tomorrow. She had an idea of what to do for him but wondered if it was a good idea. She picked up the thickest nighttime diaper she had and started changing his diaper. She did it quicker than normal so she could get back to comforting her little boy. She had picked Danny up again and began cuddling him again for a few minutes. He was calmer but still rattled. “Ash, I think we should keep Danny with us tonight. I think he needs his mommies tonight.” “I think he would be better in the crib,” Ashley said. She did not want Danny in bed with her and Angela, especially after he had just punched Angela during a nightmare. “If he has another nightmare like this one being surrounded by amazons might make it worse.” Angela did not like Ashley’s answer but understood the logic. She decided the best course of action was to make sure Danny calmed down and slept peacefully and she thought of one thing that would probably do that. The idea she was nearly sure Danny would hate. Maybe now was the best time to get him to do something that he normally would not but maybe it would be the worst. “Danny we are going to try something I think will help you tonight,” Mama Angela cooed. “Please just try it and if you don’t like it, we can talk about it tomorrow. Danny nodded, he was trying to calm himself, but he was failing. He was willing to try what Mama Angela wanted but it scared him. Mama Angela put Danny back down on the changing table and removed her shirt and bra as she was not wearing a nursing bra. She picked Danny back up and brought him to her breast. She thought the skin-to-skin contact would help calm him down and if that did not work the breastmilk would. Danny did not want to drink her breastmilk; he considered that gross, but he was too tired and too rattled to fight with her as she did not allow him to pull his head back. “Just try it Danny,” Mama Angela encouraged him. “I am sure it will make you feel better.” Danny gave in and began suckling. He was surprised how good it tasted. If he was fully awake, he might have realized how similar it tasted to the bottles she had been giving him, but he did not think about that as he suckled. Mama Angela was cooing phrases like good boy at him while he drank. As he continued to drink, he started feeling very tired and soon he fell asleep again. Mama Angela felt him stop suckling and realized he was fast asleep. She enjoyed nursing him even if he nursed like a shark. She knew that he would get better at it with time and experience. She continued to cuddle the little boy currently attached to her hip. She really wanted to stay with him all night and keep him safe but did not want to push Ashley especially tonight this late at night. “Angela,” Ashley said in a quiet voice so she would not wake Danny. “Are we not going to talk about him hitting you?” “He was still half asleep and freaking out from a nightmare,” Angela pointed out. “It was an accident, so we move past it. It is the same as him leaking because he wet himself too much. It will happen sometimes, and we just must deal with it.” “With his violent past,” Ashley started before getting interrupted. “We will have to be careful,” Angela said. “But we have seen no signs that he will be violent unless he is overly startled. We will have to work on that but right now he needs love and support.” Ashley understood that Angela was not budging and left it alone. “I am going back to bed. Are you coming?” “Give me a minute,” Angela said quietly. “I want to stay with him for a bit.” “Okay,” Ashley said, and she went back to her bedroom. She was tired and her thoughts were going somewhere she did not want them to go. Her mind told her why she really did not want a little in the first place, her upbringing segregated from littles was part of it, but she knew there was a deeper reason. Angela and her family were the first ones to really show Ashley what it meant to be loved. As a child her parents never accepted her for who she was. She was never confident in herself and therefore she was not good at making friends. For most of her childhood she felt alone. Angela made her realize she was good enough, but she still needed Angela. Ashley wondered did Angela still need her?
  4. Chapter 39 Danny woke up and quickly Mama Angela came up into his nursery. “Hello, my little boy let’s get you up and changed,” she cooed at him. Danny found himself being carried to the changing table and as had become routine he found his legs up and his bare bottom and private areas exposed. Something was different about this change though. When the new diaper was taped on Danny realized it was thinner than what he had been wearing so far. Mama Angela noticed that Danny noticed the difference and decided to explain it to him. “Those old diapers were a lot thicker,” Mama Angela explained. “They are designed to not allow the little to walk or stand easily. They are perfect for when you are injured, sick or sleeping, but you are going to be walking around tonight so I put you in diaper that is a little thinner. Don’t worry it is still nice and fluffy and will hold any kind of mess you make.” Danny was then carried downstairs and allowed to watch tv while Mama Angela prepared some things. As she left the room, she gave Danny a warning. “Please stay on the couch. We will be walking as soon as I take care of a few things, do not put yourself at risk before then. If you do, we will not be walking today.” Mama Angela doubted her threat was needed but with the thinner diapers she still decided it was the best course of action. The last thing she wanted was Danny trying to be too independent and hurting himself. He might not think of how much it could hurt getting off the couch and taking that impact with his leg. Danny nodded. He had no intention of trying to get off the couch himself. If his leg is injured the last thing, he needed was the impact from jumping off the couch. Eventually he would but not today. Soon after Mama Angela and Ashley entered the room. Angela was relieved to see that Danny was still on the couch. “My good boy,” Mama Angela praised. “Are you ready to try standing.” “Yes,” Danny said excitedly. He had not been on his feet since getting to this dimension he wanted to get back to walking and running. “Yes what?” Mama Angela decided to play it up now when she had the leverage over Danny. “Yes Mama Angela,” Danny replied. “Then up we go,” Mama Angela said smiling at her little victory. She picked Danny up and positioning him so that his feet were above the floor and slowly lowered him to the ground, so he was standing but she was actually carrying most of his weight. “How does this feel Danny,” Mama Angela asked. “Feels fine no pain,” Danny replied. “Good,” Mama Angela cooed to him and let his legs take a little more of his weight before checking in on him again. This continued until Danny was standing without Mama Angela’s assistance. Danny felt no pain in his leg just standing. Ashley was in the room for Angela’s sake. Ashley agreed to watch Danny and intervene if she saw any signs that Danny was in pain. Angela picked Danny back up and made sure that the first time was not the only time he could stand without assistance. She put him back down and still Danny felt no pain. “Okay Danny,” Mama Angela said with a nervous tone. “Do you want to try to walk?” “Yes please,” Danny replied ready to walk again. “Okay,” Mama Angela said as she grabbed both of Danny’s hands putting them over his head. “We are going to try five steps sweetie ready.” Danny was a little annoyed by her feeling the need to assist him but let it go. “Ready,” he responded. Danny attempted to take the first step but even in a thinner diaper he was still thrown off balance by the bulk between his legs and would have fallen without Mama Angela’s support. “You okay sweetie,” Mama Angela asked concerned. “Yeah, just need to adjust to the diaper,” Danny said. Mama Angela looked over to her wife to see if she had noticed anything. It looks like you need to work on balance,” Ashley noted to tell Angela what happened. “Yeah, think I got it now,” Danny replied. “Okay,” Mama Angela said. “Let’s try again.” Danny walked or more toddled since the diaper through off his balance. He was able to take five steps without too much pain. “How do you feel,” Mama Angela checked on Danny. “I am good,” Danny said ignoring the little bit of pain he was feeling. “Okay then,” Mama Angela said. “Let’s try going ten steps then over to Mommy Ashley.” Danny once again waddled along with Mama Angela holding his hands. Ashley was watching and noticed after the seventh step Danny winced. She realized he was in a little bit of pain. Not too much but enough that he should be done after this. Danny finished the walk over to Mommy Ashley. “How did that feel,” Mama Angela asked. “Felt good,” Danny lied. “Okay that is great let’s go back to the couch,” Mama Angela said. Ashley walked over to the couch so that she could continue to watch Danny’s face more to see if he was in pain or if it was just one bad step. Danny walked over keeping his face straight, but he did have a little pain in the leg, but he had fought through a whole lot worse pain. They made it 15 steps back to the starting point. Mommy Ashley just had a feeling that he was in pain and decided that she would have to intervene. “I think you did well,” Mommy Ashley intervened. “That should be enough for right now. I need Mama Angela’s help cooking dinner” She winked at Angela so Angela would realize why she was intervening. Angela realized why Ashley intervened and wanted to know what Ashley saw and how serious she thought it was. She placed Danny back on the couch and turned the ball game back on. “Same thing sweetie. Getting off the couch might hurt you so stay there.” Angela joined Ashley in the kitchen and began helping her with dinner as they talked in a hushed tone, so Danny did not hear. “What was happening that you decided it was done,” Angela asked. “He started wincing once,” Ashley said. “I doubt he did any damage to his leg, but he definitely had some discomfort.” “Do you think walking today was too much?” Angela asked her wife. “No,” Ashley replied. “I think it was more just fatigue after not being used for so long. Let him rest it a little more and he should be fine walking.” “Alright,” Angela said still a little worried. “I will talk to him about this later tonight.” She wanted to see if Danny would be honest about it with her. “Okay,” Ashley said as she continued cooking. Angela went back into the living room and sat down and watched sports with Danny. Once dinner was ready Angela moved him to his highchair and fed him dinner then she took him back to the couch and sat him on her lap facing her. “Danny, I need you to be honest with me,” Mama Angela started. “How did your leg feel when you were walking? Was there any pain.” “The pain was not bad,” Danny said honestly. “I have fought through a whole lot worse.” “Okay,” Mama Angela said. “On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad would you say the pain was?” “3 or 4 I guess,” Danny told her. Angela felt that Danny was being honest with her but wondered if her 4 and his 4 would be very different. From his past both as an athlete and the beating that got him sent here that his 10 would be an insane amount of pain. “Thank you for being honest with me,” she said as she pulled him into a hug. “Are we going to walk again later,” Danny asked. “Probably not,” Angela admitted. “Why don’t we play some games instead and tomorrow morning we will do some walking before going over to grandmas.” “Fine,” Danny said a little upset that his honesty led to an undesirable result, but he needed to keep observing and learning. Mama Angela went to the games she got him today. She picked out connect 4 and it looked normal to Danny minus being a 16 by 16 board and the pieces and board were much bigger. “Ok sweetie,” Mama Angela said. “Why don’t you sit on my lap so you can actually reach the board.” She did not wait for him to answer before sitting down and putting Danny on her lap. “Ok you pick your pieces and go first.” Danny noticed 4 colors of chips red, blue, white and black. Danny picked red and Mama Angela picked white. Danny got the first connect four easily. They played a few more before Danny realized he was winning because Mama Angela was letting him win. They ended up playing about a dozen games win Mama Angela only winning three times, once that Danny thinks she won so he did not realize she was throwing it to him, one that Danny purposely lost and a third where she seemed surprised, she won when Danny pointed it out. “Ok Danny bath time then a bottle and bed,” Mama Angela told him after the final game. Normally Mommy Ashley had been bathing Danny but this time it was Mama Angela giving Danny his bath. She put the bath toys in and then stripped him and put him in the tub. She encouraged him to play with the bath toys which he did halfheartedly until he realized the rubber duck, she had gotten in the set shot water. Danny decided to risk it and while she was not paying as much attention sprayed her with water. Her reaction was just a smile, and she began washing him. The difference between his two caregivers was clear by how they bathed him. Ashley was all business only talking to Danny if she needed him to do something and otherwise staying silent. Angela on the other hand was cooing at him and giving him praise the whole time even when washing areas that embarrassed Danny. She finished and gently dried him before putting him into a new diaper and pajamas. She took him downstairs and gave him a bottle of milk before putting him to bed in his crib. An hour later she came in to check on Danny and found him asleep. “Good night, Danny, I know you do not believe it yet, but I love you!” She said as she left the room.
  5. Chapter 38 Danny waited silently until they were at the car, and he was put in his car seat. His two caregivers loading their purchases into their car. Danny knew the answer but decided to ask anyways. “Mama Angela,” Danny said. “May I have the lollipop the cashier gave me please?” Danny was not normally the biggest fan of sweets but because he had not had solid food since arriving, he would take anything at this point. Plus, a little candy never hurt. Mama Angela looked conflicted to Danny as she spoke, “Not right now Danny. We will see about it when you get home alright sweetie?” Mama Angela hoped this did not cause a big fuss from Danny. She had already verified the brand of lollipop was safe and checked it for any signs of tampering so she felt confident it would be alright. She did not want to give it to Danny in the car because although he stopped the medication that made his stomach so weak. He still had not had a whole day to get it out of his system yet. He would be getting solid food tomorrow, but she did not want to give him the lollipop and have him throwing up in the car. Preferably he would not get the lollipop today, but it is not worth the fight if he really wanted it. “Why not,” Danny asked making sure to watch his tone to sound more curious than anything else. “Because we do not eat in the car,” Ashley butted in hoping to end the conversation there. “Okay,” Danny gave in knowing that now was not a time to push. Danny would remember this in case he noticed inconsistency or hypocrisy in his caregivers. Once the car was loaded Angela returned to the back seat to give Danny a kiss. “I promise I won’t steal your lollipop.” She told him as she got into the passenger seat and the ride home began. Danny was enjoying the classical sounding music when the station changed. Instead of the relaxing music Danny found himself listening to Old McDonald had a Farm. Mama Angela looked back at Danny and found him not smiling and not singing along. She was a little disappointed by that. She started singing it to him but immediately got a glare as a result. “This is music from your dimension sweetie,” Mama Angela said sweetly. “Aren’t you enjoying it?” “This is not what I listen to,” Danny said in a matter of fact. “The first radio station was really relaxing for me. Is there any way we can go back to that please?” “Since you asked so politely,” Mama Angela gave in and changed the radio back to the classical music channel. She was disappointed Danny did not enjoy the more age-appropriate music. Despite that she happily went home with her wife and new baby boy. Danny was brought in first with his new stuffed friend and deposited in the playpen as his two caregivers brought the new clothing and toys. Soon they had finished, and Mama Angela picked Danny out of the playpen. She took him to his highchair and spoon-fed him a baby food lunch. “Good boy buddy,” Mama Angela praised when he finished it without fighting her. “I know it has already been a super long day for you and it is far from over so why don’t you take a nap.” Danny did not fight her suggestion. She had been making him take a nap every day, so this was not a change from her usual routine. She put him down in the crib with a kiss on the forehead and left the room. Danny fell asleep quickly after the long day he had. Angela rejoined her wife downstairs for lunch. “He is asleep.” “That’s good.” Ashley said not really caring. “Yeah, and when he gets up it will be time for him to prepare to try walking again,” Angela pointed out to her wife. So that is what is most on her mind, Ashley thought. “He will be fine,” Ashley told her wife. “But what it he is not,” Angela said. “What if his leg is not ready yet? What if he hurts himself trying to push himself too hard? What…” “What if you hurt yourself over worrying about this,” Ashley interrupted. “If you are so worried then why would you have told him you would let him try to walk today? It could have waited a little bit longer with no harm?” “Because he will be with five other littles who can all walk,” Angela pointed out to her wife. “First impressions are important, and I do not want Danny or my nieces and nephews to feel like he is different. I think that if he forms a close bond with at least one of his cousins, it will help him accept everything more.” “Are you talking about any of your sisters’ littles in particular or just any of them? “Any would help,” Angela replied. “Willow is the most used to the adopted little’s life, but also probably has the least in common with him. Ruby might be able to understand him the best. Also, Freddy is kind of the outsider of the group right now so maybe those two could help each other.” “Okay,” Ashley said. “So, you think Danny needs to walk by then. The doctor said it is a good idea and I will be here to oversee it if he gets hurt. Do not worry too much about it. “I will try not to,” Angela said as she was taking the beads out of the rattle dog and examining them. “Remind me to talk to Carl tomorrow.” “About what,” Ashley asked confused. “This cute dog rattle toy,” Angela said as she dumped the beads into a plastic bag and placing them on top of the refrigerator. “I got it because I thought it might have the beads that helps little relax. These beads are full out regression beads. The store has a policy against these, but I know other than him most executives turn a blind eye to these policies.” “So, one type of beads that messes with their head is alright but not another,” Ashley noted. “The beads I want to use does not mess with their head,” Angela said defensively. “The sound makes a little’s brain produce and release more hormones that get the little to calm down. They cause no changes to how littles think and cause no long-term effects.” “Okay,” Ashley said not getting why this was such an issue to Angela, but it was not worth fighting about. “What are you going to do with that toy.” “There will be extra beads at my mom’s house,” Angela told her. “Remember when Heather was so much trouble. They stocked up on them then to try and suppress some of her fits. I will fill it there and give it to him another time. It does not seem like anything he will play with right now.” “True,” Ashley said and changed the subject to things that had nothing to do with Danny.

  7. Chapter 37 Ashley carried Danny back towards where they were and started looking for Angela. They found her in the coat section and to nobody’s surprise the cart was full. “There you two are I was starting to get a bit worried,” Mama Angela said. “We are fine,” Ashley said before hopefully adding. “Looks like you are almost done.” “I took the liberty of picking stuff so Danny could go home quicker,” Mama Angela responded. “If you want to take him through the shirts and pants and see if he wants to pick a few things that might be good.” “I guess,” Mommy Ashley said. “Let’s go Danny.” Mommy Ashley carried Danny through the aisles of shirts. Danny did not see what Mama Angela had picked out for him but went off the assumption he would not want to wear those therefore picked out several shirts for himself mostly plain but a few he noticed had superheroes from his dimension and figured those would be better than cartoon characters from this dimension. Mommy Ashley walked Danny through and took his picks. She did not really care about what Danny wore like she knew Mama Angela did. She hoped that there were no arguments about what to wear tomorrow to Angela’s mother house. Mama Angela will want to dress him the same way the others will be dressed but Danny is going to want to look more mature. When they finished, she quickly took him through some of the other aisles that Angela went through, excluding the seasonal clothes that Angela got him that he would not wear for months. Then they met up with Angela again. She had gotten through the clothing sections and Ashley noticed she had also gotten several new pacifiers, bibs and other supplies for the house. Ashley was hoping this would mean the trip was over and they could get out of this bad idea with minimal damage. “Are we done here yet?” Ashley asked her wife. “We have one more thing to shop for,” Mama Angela announced. “But we needed to wait for Danny in order to do it.” “What are we shopping for?” Danny asked. “Toys and games,” Mama Angela cooed towards him. “We need to get you things you like to play with.” “Ok,” Danny said although he was not necessarily excited about shopping for baby toys. Mama Angela took him from her wife. She carried him to the toy section of the store. She started with board games. “Ok Danny why don’t look around and pick out a couple of games for use. Your grandmother has a lot of board games so you would be able to try them there and we can figure out what to get you.” Danny looked around and noticed that there was one section of the board games that looked really babyish and simple but further down the aisle were board games he knew from his dimension. He was relieved to see at least versions of games like Sorry, Connect Four and Monopoly that looked normal. “They have games from home,” Danny said confused. “Of course, sweetie,” Mama Angela cooed. “We want you to play whatever games make you happy, so we have made sure that a lot of your favorite games are here for you to play. Why don’t we get a few and you can teach me how to play them ok.” “Ok,” Danny said as Mama Angela put Connect Four, Jenga and Sorry into the cart then she went back closer to the babyish games and grabbed Candyland. Then she took him into the next aisle with various building toys. “Anything you like here?” Mama Angela asked Danny. “I am not much of a builder,” Danny replied. “That’s alright sweetie,” Mama Angela responded. “We still should get you something. Most littles I know especially unregressed really enjoy building toys.” Danny picked out a thing of plain wooden blocks doubting he would ever actually use them. Mama Angela took him to another aisle with stuffed animals. “Pick out a new friend. I know antlers needs someone to keep him company when you are not around.” Danny decided to pick out a killer whale. He figured that picking a predator could at least make things more fun and possibly give him opportunities to get under his caregivers’ skin. The next aisle he was taken to was by far the most babyish. Rattles, teething rings, toy key sets and button mashing toys that Danny assumed would only be giving him animal sounds or colors. “I do not need anything from this aisle,” Danny told his new parents. “I know you do not need anything from this aisle but what do you want?” Mama Angela replied. “I do not want anything from this aisle,” Danny clarified. “Okay then,” Mama Angela responded. “I hope you do not mind if I get a few things in this aisle anyways.” “I won’t use them,” Danny said. “I did not say you had to,” Mama Angela said back. She picked out a few toys in this aisle. One was a button toy that Danny assumed would be very boring, the second was a toy lawn mower with balls that popped up when you pushed it. The third was a set of bath toys. The final item she picked out was a stuffed dog that doubled as a rattle. Mama Angela was very careful with the rattle dog however as she transferred it to the cart without it making a sound. Then she hides it under some clothing. Danny was puzzled about why she was being so careful with it but decided not to ask. “Okay I think we have enough for today,” Mama Angela cheerfully announced. “Let’s check out and go home.” “Works for me,” Mommy Ashley said. Angela put Danny back into the cart and wheeled it over to the checkout. They waited patiently in line until it was time for them to check out. “Hello cutie,” a teenage female cashier greeted Danny as he was pushed towards her, and both of his caregivers began loading the cart. “Hello Ma’am find everything okay?” “Too much,” Ashley said. Getting a giggle from both the cashier and Angela. “Yeah, but when you have a little cutie like this one how can you not spoil them?” the cashier responded. “Exactly!” Mama Angela replied giving Danny a little kiss on the head to emphasis it. “Oh, he is such a sweetheart,” the cashier gushed. “What your name?” “Daniel,” Danny said. “Someone must have been a very good boy to get all these fun toys,” she cooed towards Danny. Danny stayed quiet as she continued to scan the items and coo towards him. When she scanned the stuffed orca, she handed it directly to Danny. “Here you go little guy.” “Thank you,” Danny said knowing that it would be the expectation of him. “You’re such a polite a little boy,” the cashier praised. The cashier finished scanning and bagging all of the items and Ashley could not believe the price even with the discount. Angela seemed unphased by the price and paid the bill. “Thank you,” Angela said. “And such a behaved little guy,” the cashier gave Danny praise in coos. “I have something for you if it is okay with your mommies.” The cashier then pulled out what to Danny looked like a tootsie roll pop in size, but the wrapper was different. “That is very nice of you,” Mama Angela said taking the lollipop from the cashier. “I am sure he will enjoy this.” “You’re welcome,” the cashier said. “Please come again.” With that Mama Angela pushed Danny and the cart from the checkout line and towards their car as Ashley followed. All three were glad that no more issues had occurred.
  8. Chapter 36 Mama Angela carried Danny out of the conference room with Ashley behind them. Danny noticed the employees were watching them, but none said anything. Uncle Carl was not there, however. Danny wondered what he was up to. “Now you said a couple days ago that you wanted shoes,” Mama Angela said. “So why don’t we start with socks and shoes to cover your cute little footsies.” Danny went along with it because he did want shoes. He just hoped that he got shoes that were not too babyish. Ashley left to get a car for the clothes and Danny to ride in. She knew Angela was going to go overboard on the shopping trip for Danny and Danny was not going to like the clothes she picked. Mama Angela carried Danny to the socks. “Do you see any you like?” Mama Angela asked. “They are socks,” Danny said. “They are not a big deal. Danny never took any pleasure in shopping for clothes and usually tried to make it quick. He knew this shopping trip would not be that way though. She looked around for a bit before picking out a pack of ankle socks with many different colors. “What do you think of these Danny?” Mama Angela asked. “They look fine,” Danny said. He was glad she did not try to pick any of the socks with cartoon characters on them. Ashley returned with the cart and Mama Angela sat Danny in the seat and place the socks in the cart. “Now let’s get some shoes.” Mama Angela pushed the cart to the shoes section and began looking at croc like shoes eventually picking a dark green pair. “What do you think of these Danny?” “I like those,” Danny answered. “Then into the cart they go,” Mama Angela said smiling as she placed them into the cart. She was trying to pick shoes and later on clothes that Danny would prefer even though cuter options were available. She went to sandals next, and she instantly found a pair she thought would look super cute on Danny. They were blue with smiling fishes all over the shoe. She knew they would not be Danny’s favorite but decided to see if Danny would accept them. If he said no, she would put them back for now but come back before they checked out and get them. “What do you think of these?” Mama Angela asked Danny. “I think they look adorable. Don’t you agree Ashley?” “Sure,” Ashley said with no enthusiasm. She just hoped Danny would not complain too much so this trip could finish up quicker. Danny thought the shoes looked way too babyish. He did not want to wear them but realized that Mama Angela was going to pick out a lot of outfits Danny did not like. He had a feeling these shoes were not going to be the worst thing she picked out. He decided to pick his battles for something more insulting. “I guess they are okay,” Danny said. He saw Mama Angela quickly put them in the cart. Then she pushed the cart to the sneakers section. “Okay Danny which ones do you like?” Mama Angela said. Danny looked around and on the top shelf he saw a pair that looked like a normal pair of sneakers from his dimension. Danny could not read the information on the shoe and did not realize from his angle that the bottoms light up and the ties were just for show and could be removed, they were actually Velcro shoes. Danny pointed towards them. “The blue and white pair on the top shelf.” “Good choice,” Mama Angela said as she found his size. She had calculated his sizes before the trip with the measurements the hospital did, so she did not need him to try everything on. They were not the pair that she would have chosen for Danny but wanted him to get to pick out some of his clothes. They went to the next section which was shorts and pants. “Tell me which ones you like,” Mama Angela said as she pushed Danny through the selection. Danny picked out basic clothing like jeans that looked normal enough despite the elastic waist band and a few pairs of shorts that were solid print. Mama Angela took all his choices and put them in the cart while also noting where she thought some cuter items were so she could come back for them before they checked out. The next section they walked into was the diaper section. “See anything you like Danny?” Mama Angela asked. “I am not doing this,” Danny quickly responded. “I do not need diapers once I am off the medication. I will not participate in picking any out.” “Here, I have a suggestion,” Mommy Ashley intervened hoping to prevent anything more from happening in the store. She did not like the idea of taking care of Danny by herself but him losing it in a store would be a worse embarrassment in her eyes. “How about me and Danny go for a little walk while you do some more shopping.” “Sounds good,” Mama Angela replied realizing with how today had gone that it all may be a little overwhelming for Danny. “Do you want to go for a walk Danny?” “Works for me,” Danny replied. He raised his arms and Mommy Ashley lifted him out of the cart seat. She carried him outside of the store and Danny could see just how massive every building in the area was, but this was the largest. Ashley was worried Danny would still be worked up about Angela taking him to the diaper aisle. That was completely ridiculous of her. She knew Danny still believed he was not staying in diapers. Ashley knew it was not true but why would Angela push the issue in public. “Sorry,” Ashley told Danny. “Angela gets way too excited when she shops and forgets that not everyone enjoys shopping as much as she does. She did not think before going to that last aisle.” “It’s fine,” Danny said. After seeing the spanking earlier today he was not in any rush to gain firsthand knowledge of how that felt so he would agree to almost anything right now after clearly upsetting his captors in the store. “Be honest with me,” Ashley said deciding to push the issues of Danny lying to Angela to hopefully use it against him later. “You said you do not hate us because of what happened did you mean that or was it just saying what Mama Angela wanted to hear.” “Honestly,” Danny admitted. “I meant what I said about not being sure of anything and being overwhelmed. At times I hate everything and everyone but other times I can think more clearly. I have seen how other littles are treated in this dimension and realize you and Angela are far from the worst.” Ashley felt torn on if she believed Danny. She wanted to believe he was lying and her assumptions about him were correct, but something deep down told her he was being sincere. She decided to ignore it for now. Ashley just walked him around the perimeter of the building hoping not to interact with anyone so Danny would have no reason to lose his cool. In the front of the building a few people waved to the two of them as they left but for the most part they were ignored. That was until they saw an older male amazon in the store uniform who looked to be part of the maintenance team. “Hello there, you two,” the maintenance employee said. “Is there anything I can do for you today?” “Hello,” Ashley said. “We are good. Danny is newer and was just getting a little overwhelmed in the store, so I am letting him catch himself while my partner continues the shopping.” “Smart,” the employee replied. “Is he your first little?” “He is,” Ashley told the man. “Wow,” the employee said shocked. “Normally new parents are not nearly in tune with how their little is feeling and when they show signs of discomfort, they go straight to either threatening punishments or worse just punishing them. Working here you see a lot of littles who are just overwhelmed or scared getting punished because of inexperienced parents. You and your partner must either have great instincts or have been very prepared.” Ashley did not know how to reply. Yes, Angela both had great instincts with littles and was very prepared, but it was Ashley who suggested the idea. Ashley was not experienced with littles at all, and she did not have instincts with littles other than to avoid them. Truth be told in Ashley’s eyes it had been just dumb luck. “Thank you, sir,” Ashley responded to the man. “You’re welcome,” the man said. “Enjoy the rest of your shopping trip and good luck with the new little.” Then he got back to work, and Ashley continued walking Danny around the building for a while longer before stopping. “Are you ready to go back inside,” Ashley asked Danny. “I am a little afraid of how much Angela could have bought for you in the amount of time we were out here.” “Afraid because of how embarrassing it will be for me or afraid for how much she spent?” Danny asked. “Both,” Ashley said emphatically. Ashley knew Angela would have a cart full of what she considered the cutest clothes for Danny, but most likely Danny would hate every outfit. “Let’s go back,” Danny said. He also had the feeling Mama Angela would have several things in the cart he did not want. While her wife and Danny were taking a break to calm down Angela went to work picking out the cutest outfits she could find for Danny. Onesies with cute cartoon animals, footie pajamas with stars and moons, t-shirts with phrases like little stinker and mama’s boy on them, which Danny would not be able to read due to the different alphabet. She enjoyed her shopping but was doing it a little quicker than normal because she did not want to keep Danny here too long with everything he had already been through today and since arriving. She was not rushing by any stretch of the imagination, but she knew the sooner he was at home where he was more comfortable the better. She also made sure to get a few plainer outfits that Danny would preferably wear early on before he accepted his role as a little more. While she was shopping, she saw Carl coming towards her. “Hello Carl,” she greeted him. “Did you finish everything here.” “Yep,” he replied. “I am ready to get back home to my wife and three little ones. Speaking of little ones where is Danny?” “He and Ashley went for a walk,” she explained “He is still a little overwhelmed and the diaper section was a little but much for him.” “Still in the phase where they do not believe they need diapers,” Carl guessed. “He believes once all the medicines are out of his system that he will be fine without them,” Angela stated. “He might gain a little bit more control,” Carl said. “But not enough for him to be trusted in anything but a diaper. Angela felt like that comment was more reassurance for her that keeping him in diapers was the right thing to do than anything else. “True,” Angela replied. “But at least we can give him thinner ones than he has had right now. The crawlers were good for when he was injured but he is going to need less bulk to walk.” “Do you think he will be walking tomorrow?” Carl asked. “I do not know,” Angela admitted. “The doctor said he should be able to, but I want to make sure he does not push himself too far and suffer more setbacks.” “That is understandable,” Carl replied. “You want to baby him through the process. He is your baby after all.” “Yeah, but I have the feeling he won’t like going for the patience approach. He seems to want it to be going a mile a minute.” “You are the parent,” Carl reminded Angela. “If you think something is a bad idea then you can veto it. I know you want him happy, but you also have a more important responsibility to his safety.” “I know,” Angela said. “But the doctor sad he is all set to try to start walking and told me and Ashley in a private meeting if we wait too long the muscles will weaken and it will be harder for him to walk again.” “I get it,” Carl responded. “How mad is Vivian at you for working another weekend,” Angela asked changing the subject. “She was pissed,” Carl admitted. “But as soon as she heard about what was going on with you and Danny here, she did not care and became more concerned about him. She even was considering rounding up the kids and coming here to help you herself. I had to convince her that it was over and by the time they got here you would be gone. Angela just smirked at her sister’s reaction. Mom to everyone, she thought. “Me and Ashley can handle it.” “I know you two can,” Carl agreed. “She is really looking forward to meeting Danny tomorrow. So are the little ones.” “I’m sure Danny will love meeting them,” Angela said not knowing how Danny felt about meeting his new family currently. “Do you need anything before I head out,” Carl asked. “Nope,” Angela said confidently. “Everything is all set here.” “Okay,” Carl said. “Have a great rest of your day. See you tomorrow.” “See you tomorrow,” Angela said and with that Carl left and Angela went back to shopping.
  9. I have a feeling there will be consequences for Clark’s actions after this one. Wondering if Billy Anne, or Chaz will end up getting regressed for one of Clark’s schemes and that will be Clark’s wake up call.
  10. Sorry this took so long. Chapter 35 Danny stopped struggling on the man’s hip because he was confused. How did this man know his name. Danny did not have long to think before the man started moving towards the desk. “What happened with this little guy,” the man holding Danny asked the employee. “Nothing sir,” the employee said. “I am going to tell you something I have learned as a father of three littles,” the man holding Danny said with a stern voice. “Shaking in the corner of a playpen while hiding behind a stuffed animal is not a normal behavior so I am going to ask again, what happened that might cause a little to do that.” “As I said sir nothing out of the ordinary has happened while that little has been here,” the employee reported clearly uncomfortable with the situation. “He had a conversation with a foul-mouthed little in the other playpen. Then the parents of the other little came out and gave the other little the spanking he deserved for his misbehavior. Also, sir just wanted to remind you of the company’s policy about touching littles.” “First of all, I wrote the policy you are referring to, so I am well aware of it,” the man holding Danny said. “Is it normal for littles to get spanked in front of the other littles in this office because it should not be. This is one of the first places parents take new littles so spanking in front of other littles is more likely to terrify little guys like Danny here.” “Sir,” the uncomfortable employee said. “What do you want us to do, implement a no spanking policy in the store?” “I am not saying that. What I am saying is that spanking littles in front of new behaving littles is not appropriate. I am going to bring it up at the board meeting this week. Hopefully we can come up with ideas to prevent another little from being this terrified” With that the man holding Danny walked away from the desk and back over to the playpen but continued to hold Danny. “Are you alright Danny.” Danny nodded. Despite that the man continued to hold Danny. The man stayed standing never sitting down or even going near a chair. Danny realized it was probably because he did not want make Danny think he was going to get a spanking. Danny studied the amazon holding him. The man was probably close to 13 feet tall but still had a fit and muscular build. Danny was guessing he was mid to late thirties by noticing a few gray hairs. The man was clean shaven and well groomed. The black suit the man was wearing seemed expensive. Danny heard him talk about the board meeting and knew he was one of the executives. Danny knew it might be a bad idea, but he decided to try and learn a bit more about the guy holding him. “Um mister,” Danny started. “Call me Uncle Carl,” the man said softly. “I’m your Mama Angela’s brother-in-law.” Suddenly things made much more sense to Danny. “Thank you, Uncle Carl,” Danny said. “You’re such a polite little boy, aren’t you?” Uncle Carl praised. “You are part of my family Danny, and I will always do my best to protect my family. I just wish I brought one of the girls for you to play with.” “You’re the one with three littles, right?” Danny asked. “That is right Danny,” Uncle Carl said. “I have Willow, Heather, and Freddy. You will get to meet them all tomorrow.” “Why did you say one of your girls if you have a boy?” Danny questioned. “Freddy’s is newer,” Uncle Carl admitted. “He is not adjusted to this dimension like Willow and Heather are.” So, Heather would not be someone who could help Danny escape if he wanted to. Maybe Freddy would be his best option if he needed to escape. “Look who’s coming over here buddy,” Uncle Carl said interrupting Danny’s thoughts. Danny looked and saw Mama Angela and Ashley leaving the office they had went into to do the paperwork. Mama Angela finished the paperwork as quickly as she could but the manager, they were paired with felt the need to over explain every detail. She was hoping Danny was behaving but was very worried about her little boy. Mama Angela exited the office as quickly as she could when they were finished but was shocked to see her brother-in-law holding Danny. She knew he sometimes had to go in on the weekend much to her sister’s annoyance. As she walked towards them, she just had the feeling something was not right. She looked at the body language of Danny, he seemed scared. Angela quickened her pace towards Danny and her brother-in-law. “My sister is going to kill you,” Angela said to Carl as this would be the third weekend in a row that Carl had to go in on the weekend. Vivian put up with it on occasion but becomes very annoyed when it happens repeatedly. Her statement drew the attention of the manager she had dealt with and the desk employee. “For multiple reasons,” Carl admitted. “But that is not the focus right now. How have you been doing with this little guy.” “It has been an adjustment,” Angela said. “But he has been a very good boy so far. Has Mama Angela’s little boy behaved?” Danny realized although the question was cooed at him, she was really asking Uncle Carl. Uncle Carl sighed before answering. “I did not hear of one behavioral problem with him,” Uncle Carl started. “But when I came in, he was in the corner visibly shaking trying to hide behind his stuffy. Apparently, another little boy was being quite naughty and had gotten a major spanking right before I got here.” When Angela heard that her heart sank. She leaves Danny alone for a little bit of time without her or Ashley to protect him and something happens that scares him so horribly. She was glad that her brother-in-law showed up when he did and calmed Danny down. Ashley had been listening to Carl as well and had a different takeaway. She was glad Danny saw that there were serious consequences for misbehaving. Angela seemed to be avoiding spanking Danny instead just using time-outs. Spankings might scare Danny into behaving better. Ashley did agree with her wife on Carl’s arrival being a blessing. With Danny’s fighting background she was glad that somebody with a lot of experience with littles was the one that calmed him down. “Poor Danny,” Mama Angela cooed as Uncle Carl handed Danny to her. “Are you alright buddy?” Danny did not answer. Of course, he was not alright. He was in a dimension where his adulthood was forcibly stripped from him and apparently him getting beaten in public was not too outrageous for most people. Despite this he did not say a word. Saying yes just makes him look more like the baby she wanted him to be. Mama Angela did not need Danny to respond though. She knew he was still having trouble with the transition despite the fact things had been getting better. She had a feeling he would act tough. He would try to hide his feelings and always act ok. She knew that mentally Danny was not okay. “Is there a place I can take him to get him situated?” Mama Angela asked her brother-in-law. “Of course,” Carl told her. “There is a conference room at the end of the hallway you just came out of. Feel free to use that. I have a few business matters that need to be taken care of. I will make sure to say good-bye before I leave though.” “Sounds good,” Mama Angela replied. “Thanks Carl you are the best.” With that Mama Angela started to carry Danny towards the conference room. Danny took one last look at the employee who had been at the desk. Early he had looked uncomfortable but right now he looked plain scared. Good, Danny thought, he should know how I felt the whole time he allowed that amazon to do whatever he wanted with that little. Mama Angela, Ashley, and Danny entered the empty conference room and Mama Angela instantly sat him in a very comfortable giant office chair. She knelt in front of him “I’m sorry,” Mama Angela said to Danny clearly upset by the way things played out. “We should not have left you alone out there.” “I told you to,” Danny pointed out. “It is not your fault.” “You might have said you were okay with it,” Mama Angela started. “But you did not know our dimension well enough to make an informed decision. Mommy Ashley and I do. We should have known the potential for the situation going wrong and found another way.” Ashley stood there unmoved by what her wife said. Danny claims to be an adult so he should be handle being away from them for a short amount of time. Yet after not even a half hour he was already having problems. “It is fine,” Danny said emotionlessly. “No, it is not fine,” Mama Angela said getting a little upset. “And you are not fine. Danny according to Uncle Carl you were physically shaking. You were absolutely terrified. I can tell just by being around you for a few days that you are still scared. You do not need to pretend to be the big tough guy all the time Danny.” Danny thought, obviously I am not fine. I am in this crazy dimension against my own will, my body is injured, everyone is treating me like I am a child and now I find out that getting beaten by one of the giants will not cause anyone to even bat an eye. This place is insane. Apparently, something in Danny’s body language must had broken because he felt Mama Angela start rubbing his back softly before she softly began speaking again. “Danny let your emotions out. It is not healthy for you to hide them all the time. You are safe with use. We are not going to judge you for anything you say or do right now.” Angela was saying this to Danny but also hoped Ashley was listening. They were too similar to each other when it came to emotions for their own good. Danny felt a few tears escape as he thought about how his life had changed. To him it completely sucked. Assuming he was actually stuck here he had so many things he wanted to do but never will be able to. He would never become a star in MMA, never get married, never have children of his own. He just hated everything that had happened to him. He knew he had to collect himself a little. “Such a good boy,” Mama Angela cooed as he collected himself. “Now Danny what do you want to do next.” “I want to go home,” Danny blurted out. That is reasonable, Mama Angela thought. It disappointed her a little because she loved shopping, but Danny came first. “Ok, Danny,” Mama Angela said softly. “Mommy Ashley can take you to the car right now, do you mind if I grab a few things quickly for meeting the rest of my family tomorrow?” “I want to be back at my home,” Danny said. “My apartment where I am in control.” Mama Angela could not explain how hurt she felt by that statement. She had hoped Danny had seen them as his family and their house as his home by now but clearly that was not the case. She knew Danny was not intentionally trying to hurt her with that comment but that actually made it worse. It was not a temper tantrum where he was purposely trying to hurt her, it was how he actually felt. She looked toward her wife for support, but she did not seem to care at all. Be strong for your little boy, she told herself. “I’m sorry Danny,” Mama Angela started as she took a deep breath. “But I cannot send you back to your dimension for many reasons. Firstly, the odds you survive the trip right now is slim. They did not properly prepare you to come to our dimension and you received a lot of radiation. Being properly prepared for the trip would prevent a lot of the radiation but you are still exposed. With how much radiation you took in during the first trip it is likely if you travel back in the next few years you may die from too much radiation. Plus, the radiation was already affecting the nanites treatments you were given so at the very least the treatments would be undone and the damage to your body would kill you. Even if you did survive the medical treatment is better for you here. Plus, legally your dimension does not allow transportation to their dimension except for tourist coming back and only at certain times so we cannot send you now and we cannot get the proper papers for them to allow you in the transport. So, I am sorry Danny, but you are stuck here but that’s okay. Mama Ashley and I are going to do everything we can to make this feel like home for you.” Every word hit Danny like a ton of bricks. He wanted to believe that Mama Angela was lying to him. Despite that he just knew she was telling him the truth. She did not need to give him as much information as she did. He also knew that laws were passed in his dimension to prevent amazons from traveling to his dimension due to the fears that they would take over or kidnap the inhabitance. He would hope that legally he could travel back but it would probably be a grey area at best. He could not help himself as he started weeping. Mama Angela tried her best to console her little but understood his pain. He probably had some hope that he would be told he could go back to his home dimension at some point, and she just told him it would not happen. She rubbed his back and let him cry. She saw Carl open the door. Carl looked around and gave Angela a knowing look and left the room. The whole situation made Ashley very uncomfortable. This was not what she expected from Danny at all. She expected him to fight Angela, get angry and call her a liar. Danny breaking down told her he knew Angela was telling the truth. It also told her that Danny did not want to be Angela’s little, and Angela would be too oblivious to that fact. She felt she had to protect Angela from herself and Danny. Danny calmed himself down. He knew crying would not help right now. He had to keep his mind sharp and come up with a plan. “Such a brave boy,” Mama Angela cooed towards her calming down little. She gave him a little kiss on the cheek before grabbing a couple of tissues. She first wiped the tears off of his face. Then she held one up to his nose. “Blow sweetie.” Danny blew his nose into the tissue that Mama Angela was holding for him. He felt embarrassed that she thought he was incapable of blowing his own nose but right now he did not have enough fight left in him for that. “Danny, are you going to be alright to shop today or do you want to go back to our house,” Mama Angela asked. “We can shop,” Danny replied. “Okay sweetie one more thing before we start though,” Mama Angela said. “I know you hate us right now but please if you need to talk to someone about anything me and Mommy Ashley are always here to listen.” Danny’s focus went to her saying she knew he hated them. Danny had been trying to figure out how he felt about the two captors. He did not love them. They were part of the system that had taken his freedom and his future away from him. Yet he did not hate them. He hated this dimension and being forced to be a baby, but he understood that they did not make the choice to send him there. If it was Ashley’s choice, he would have probably died in his own dimension before being sent to theirs. He had also seen with the regressed littles and the treatment of the other little boy in the store today that they were treating him better than some other littles. He still had many confusing thoughts and feelings about both of them. “I do not hate you two,” Danny admitted out loud. “I honestly do not know how I feel about anything in this dimension right now. I hate the situation I am currently in, but I know it is not your fault or anything it this dimension’s. It is just really overwhelming right now.” For Angela this was the best thing she had heard Danny say. She knew he was struggling mentally with the events that brought him here and figured it would take a long time and therapy for him to feel right again. She figured that he would hate the two of them for a while. To hear him admit to struggling and that he does not hate or blame his new caregivers was better than Angela could have expected at this point. Ashley did not believe Danny was sincere about not hating Angela and herself. It was too mature for what she knew about littles. She had to believe Danny was just saying what he thought Angela wanted to hear. She wished Angela would look at the full picture. Danny did not want to be their little. She was worried Danny would badly hurt Angela down the line. Danny received a big hug from Mama Angela. “If you need someone to talk to, about any issue or you just want to talk please let us know.” “I will Mama Angela,” Danny replied. “Good boy,” Mama Angela praised with a huge smile on her face. “Now it is time to go shopping. This is going to be so fun.”
  11. The next chapter is coming soon. Thank you all for your patience.
  12. Sorry, this took so long Chapter 34 Mama Angela had just put Danny into his car seat and gotten in the front passenger seat and Ashley took the driver’s seat. Ashley pulled out of their driveway and started driving. The radio played music that sounded classical to Danny. He found it very soothing. Danny stayed quiet and just looked out the window at the scenery. Mama Angela took Danny’s silence in a different way. She thought that Danny was nervous about shopping. She had initially turned on the more classical music because studies had proven it was the most effective music at calming littles. She was tempted to try a little focused radio station but thought it might annoy Danny and would be better to try on the way back where Danny would be going right to his crib for a nap. “You okay Danny?” Mama Angela asked. “I am fine,” Danny said. There was nothing about a simple shopping trip that made him nervous. Ok sweetie,” Mama Angela replied. “If you need to talk about anything I am always available to talk.” They finished the car ride in silence. Danny was calm while Mama Angela and Ashley were nervous. Angela was nervous about Danny’s getting scared and becoming uncomfortable around amazons again. Ashley was not concerned with Danny specifically but more what issues he would cause for herself Angela and others in the store. When they arrived, Mama Angela put a pacifier in Danny’s mouth and clipped it to his shirt. She handed him Antlers, picked Danny up and carried him into the store despite the amazon’s worries. “Hello there,” an overly friendly store employee greeted them. “Hello,” Mama Angela responded. “Danny, can you say hello to the nice lady?” Danny decided the shy act would work again. He buried his head into Mama Angela’s shoulder. “Hello,” he said though he doubted anyone other than Mama Angela would hear him. “Sorry,” Mama Angela apologized to the lady. “He is new and still very shy around amazons.” “Really he is so calm for a new little,” the employee said. “It’s okay little guy nobody here is going to do anything to you. Store policy even states that nobody can touch you without your or your parents’ permission. Now if he is a new little will the two of you want to set up an account here? We have two account managers here today so it should only take a few minutes to do.” “Sounds like a good idea,” Mama Angela said as that was already her intention. “Let’s go get this set up and then we get to shop,” she added excitedly. Her levels of excitement were not match by Danny or her wife. The three followed the store’s greeter into the offices where they found a room with two employees. One sitting at the desk and the other standing next to the desk talking to him. Also in the room were two playpens, one of which was empty but the other contained a single male little. The standing employee spoke first, “hello there, I am guessing you are here to set up a new account.” “That is correct,” Mama Angela replied. “Wonderful,” the man said. “I can take you into my office. It only takes a few minutes to set up. We do ask that littles remain out here if that is alright with the two of you.” “Ok,” Mama Angela said clearly not loving the last part. “Should one of us stay with him?” “We prefer both parents come back because there is some paperwork that both of you would need to sign. If it is a problem, we can figure out a better solution.” “It’s fine,” Danny told Mama Angela. “I would just be sitting there anyways so it is not like it makes a big difference if I stay out here.” “You sure sweetie,” Mama Angela asked uncomfortably. She did not want Danny in a position where he would end up fighting and getting into trouble so she would prefer to keep him an eye on him herself. “I am sure,” Danny replied. “Ok sweetie,” Mama Angela said still not loving the idea but wanting to show trust in Danny. She then went and talked to the sales manager. “We can leave him out here but just a little warning, he has been here less than a week and he needed a second surgery on his leg, so he is not allowed to stand or walk on it right now.” “Oh, wow seems like a lot for a first week,” the sales manager said before turning to the employee at the desk. “Because of his leg injury I want him alone in the playpen so nobody could accidentally fall on it or otherwise injury him. If a third little comes in this time, they go in the playpen with Mr. grumpy over there.” “Yes sir,” the employee at the desk said. Mama Angela set Danny down in the empty playpen. “Ok sweetie, I am trusting you to behave. If you do not, I promise you, you will not like the outcome, but if you are extra good for the nice man at the desk then you will get a reward.” She then reached into the diaper bag and pulled out Danny’s stuffed animal, Antlers. She handed him to Danny before she began speaking again. “Here is your friend to keep you company. Remember the doctor said you could try standing and walking tonight but needed at least a full day so please do not do anything stupid so close to being recovered.” “I won’t,” Danny replied. The thought of trying to walk now had not even crossed his mind. Why take a risk when you are so close to getting what you want. “Good boy,” Mama Angela praised before kissing him on the forehead. “Danny, remember we love you very much and behave for the nice man at the desk.” With that both Mama Angela and Ashley followed the sales manager to the back of the store. Danny heard the heavy door close. He looked back to the man at the desk and saw that he had started reading a book. Danny then scooted on his bottom turning himself so he could see the little in the other playpen. He was a little shorter and skinnier than Danny. He was clearly thickly diapered and dressed in a baby blue onesie. What Danny noticed most though was the angry look on his face. “Are you still mentally there?” The boy asked. “Or are you brainwashed like all the others.?” “I am still me,” Danny replied. “Then why are you not fighting back?” the boy questioned. “Don’t you realize how fucked up this is?” “Language,” the man at the desk said before going back to his book. Danny realized he did not care about what the littles said or did. He was just here so the store could say they are supervised. “I realize this is the most messed up thing I have ever seen in my life,” Danny responded. “But at least until my leg heals, I am at the mercy of the two giants who have adopted me. Why would I purposely anger them?” “You realize they are probably the ones who fucked up your leg right? It is not going to recover.” “The thought that they might not want it to recover has crossed my mind,” Danny admitted. “But I do not think they are the ones who caused my leg injury. My memory of my last night in my dimension is very hazy, due to the alcohol, the concussion, the trauma, and probably whatever process they used to send me here, but I remember my leg being in horrible agony.” “Still being in a normal dimension that pain is probably 100x better than this fucked up hell hole,” the little said. “Watch your mouth,” the employee said this time sounded angrier. The little in the other playpen ignored the man. “What are you going to do when you recover?” “Were you an athlete back in our dimension?” Danny asked assuming the two came from the same place. “Not really,” the boy replied. “I was,” Danny told him. “When you are at such a physical disadvantage as we are the only smart strategy is to wait until your opponent makes a mistake until then just do whatever you need to do to survive. That is my plan capitalize on every opportunity I get but do not force myself into a bad situation.” “You’re not serious,” the other little exclaimed. “You will actually let them treat you like this and not fight back.” “Part of being an athlete is knowing the situation and knowing when not to take a chance,” Danny tried to explain. “You cannot just go for the knockout shot without setting it up with the jabs because your opponent’s guard will still be up and once you fail you open yourself up for the repercussions. Same thing in baseball you cannot just swing at everything because you want to hit the homerun sometimes you have to take a pitch and get a walk or hit a sacrifice fly to put yourself in a better position later.” “You’re wrong,” the boy practically screamed at Danny. “You have to commit yourself to fighting these giants with your whole heart or you become just another baby. If you are too fucking stupid to realize that then you deserve to be another one of their babies.” “Look man,” Danny said calmly. “I stand by my opinion on the best way to deal with the situation. Your way sounds like all it does it get the amazons angry and keep them on guard 24/7.” “I do not care if amazons are angry,” the boy declared. “I am angry. They put me in a diaper and treat me like a baby 24/7 why would I care about them.” It looked like the boy was going to continue his rant when a man and woman came out of one of the offices. The woman came over and knelt in front of the other little. “Hello baby, did you miss mommy? Are you making a friend?” “How many times do I have to tell you,” The little responded even more angerly than he was getting with Danny. “You are not my mom. You are a fucking kidnapper and when I get home, I am going to make sure you pay for what you are doing to me. As for the friend question no I am not making friends with a baby like him because I am a fucking adult not a fucking baby.” The woman’s face quickly turned red, and her smile turned into a frown. Her husband turned to the employee at the desk. “Has he been behaving like this the whole time?” “Pretty much,” the employee responded. “Cursing up a storm the whole time.” The male amazon walked over and took his adoptee out of the playpen. He sat down in a chair on the other side of the room. He laid the little across his lap, undid the snaps of his onesie and pulled his diaper down. “I must have told you a hundred times in the month you have been with us we do not swear.” Two quick smacks rained down on the poor littles butt, but he did not react. “You do what me and your mommy tell you to.” Two more smacks and Danny heard the little started to turn pink. “You are not an adult.” Three much harder smacks. At this point the little boy was crying. “Adults do not need to swear and throw tantrums when they do not get their own way.” Three more hard smacks and the crying boy’s bottom was going from pink to red. “They do not try to intentionally hurt other’s feelings.” Three even harder smacks and the boy was pleading with the man to stop. “You are a baby.” One more hard smack. “You were right grown-ups and babies are not friends.” Another smack. “So, all your friends are going to be other babies.” Another smack landed on the blubbering boy’s bright red behind “You will all be playing in a playpen with your baby toys, making stinky diapers for your mommies and daddies to change since your too immature to even use the potty.” Four more quick spanks landed, and the boy seemed to go completely limp. “Now are you a big boy?” Danny’s mind was racing over what he had just seen. The power that the man had, and he was not even using his full power. One punch from a giant could do major damage Danny realized. Danny noticed his body was shaking as he watched the scene transpiring in front of his paralyzed with fear The little mumbled something but received another hard smack “What was that we could not understand your baby babble?” his daddy asked. “Are you a big boy?” “No,” the boy said quietly but received another spank. “Louder,” his daddy commanded. “And tell us no daddy, I am not a big boy.” “No daddy I am not a big boy,” the little repeated loudly. “Then what are you?” his daddy asked. The boy hesitated and received another hard spank. “A baby,” he declared loudly. “Yep, your just our naughty little baby boy,” his daddy declared as he pulled the back of the diaper back up but removed the onesie. “Now we are going to go shopping for baby clothes for our baby but since you were so naughty at the store, we need to make sure everybody know you are just a baby so you’re going to go shopping in just your diapee and any whining or misbehaving and it will go down and you will get even more spankings. Do you want more spankings because your behavior seems to be asking for them constantly?” “No daddy,” the boy said weakly. “Then there is an easy way to make sure you do not get any,” his daddy told him. “Just behave.” With that the daddy carried his little away with his mommy walking right next to them. Danny had never been so terrified in his life as what he just saw. He was terrified of what could happen to him. Danny decided to scoot to the far corner of the playpen where he could see the hallway to the offices, the man at the desk acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened and the door. He then pulled Antlers to cover his face as if him being unable to see anyone made them unable to see him. Seconds felt like hours to Danny as he sat there hoping for anything to happen so that he did not have to be here anymore. Danny heard the door open and saw the largest amazon he had seen yet wearing a very nice business suit. The guy looked at Danny and he immediately rushed over to the playpen where Danny was. He lifted Danny out of the playpen and attempted to pull him close to his body, but Danny started to try to wiggle himself away from the amazon. “Shhh,” the man said as he got Danny onto his hip and began rubbing his back. “It’s okay Danny you are safe. Just relax. I won’t let anything happen to you.”
  13. Chapter 33 Danny woke up in the morning feeling good. He had gotten a lot of sleep yesterday, so he was well rested. More importantly today either he would finally get back to walking or he would have a justifiable reason to dislike his caregivers. While he would prefer the ability to walk, he viewed either as a win. Danny stretched his arms and back a little before Mama Angela walked into the room. “Good morning sweetie,” Mama Angela greeted. “How did you sleep?” “I slept fine,” Danny said. He would not admit it, but he was getting much better sleep in this dimension than he was at home, but he assumed that was only because of the medications. “That’s good,” Mama Angela said as she picked him up and unbuttoned the flap of his sleeper. “But your diaper is very used. It is a good thing you were wearing one otherwise the crib would have been soaked. That would not be comfortable, would it Danny?” “No, it wouldn’t,” Danny agreed. “Luckily soon I will be off the medication and won’t need diapers.” “We can discuss that when it comes,” Mama Angela said although she had no plans to let Danny out of diapers. He is a portal little and no matter how much a portal little protests they always end up needing diapers. “We have a busy day ahead and I doubt you want to start it with a soaked bottom.” “Ok,” Danny said knowing it was the best he would get right now. He figured if he pushed too early on being able to use the bathroom, they would test him on it while he was still dealing with the side effects of the medication. He would fail and they would have a reason to keep him in diapers. Mama Angela laid Danny down on the changing table, removed his sleeper and untapped his diaper. “Wow you really did a number on this one I am surprised it did not leak.” Danny blushed as she continued wiping him bottom. The she applied large amounts of baby lotion and baby powder because of Danny’s skin treatment. “I get to walk today, right?” Danny asked as he got his diaper changed. “We will see Danny,” Mama Angela said as she tapped a new diaper onto Danny. “You are going to stand today for sure and then if your knee holds up well enough, we will work on walking.” Mama Angela wanted to be very cautious about what she told Danny. She did not want him accusing her of being a liar. She desperately wanted Danny’s love and trust. Fair, Danny thought. He understood what she was saying. If Danny had trouble standing, then he would not be walking but otherwise he was glad it was still on the table for today. Only more encouragement for him to make sure that even if he was in pain standing, he would act fine. “Arms up Danny,” Mama Angela requested as she pulled out a baby blue tee shirt. Danny fulfilled her request and Mama Angela pulled the tee-shirt over his head. “Thank you, Danny. Now it is time for breakfast would you like to put on bottoms before or after breakfast? “What?” Danny said shocked. “Is it normal here for adults my size to go without pants?” “A couple of things to keep in mind,” Mama Angela explained. “One in the eyes of the law you and most littles are not considered adults. Seeing a little in public or private in nothing but I diaper is not uncommon. Secondly you are in your own home nobody else would see except me and Mommy Ashley. If you would feel more comfortable you can put a pair of shorts on. I just thought I would give you the option.” “I would like the shorts please,” Danny said. He knew Mama Angela was unable to see him and anyone his size as an adult. Arguing with her would only make things worse. Mama Angela put the shorts on Danny and carried him down to the kitchen where Ashley was doing dishes. Danny realized they had gotten up before him and ate breakfast. That confirmed to him the inevitable truth that he was not getting solid food this morning. Mama Angela brought over a thing of yogurt. “Danny let’s start off the day right,” Mama Angela said as she tied the bib around his neck. “Let me feed you your breakfast.” Once again Danny realized arguing gets him nowhere with Mama Angela. Until she gives him ammunition to use against her Danny just had to go along with it. He allowed Mama Angela to feed him a container of yogurt. “Good job Danny,” Mama Angela praised. “But you’re such a messy eater.” Danny’s bib had quite a few spots of yogurt on it. “When I feed myself yogurt here, I did not make a mess,” Danny pointed out. “It’s alright Danny,” Mama Angela said as she used the bib to wipe a few spots of yogurt from his face. “I am just pointing out that you made a little bit of a mess. Nobody is angry with you. You actually looked really cute with the yogurt on your face.” “I am not cute,” Danny protested. Mama Angela shook her head. Danny was super cute. But it was not worth arguing with him over. He needed more time to accept this dimension and she needed to pick and choose battles today. She had a feeling it was going to be a rougher day. “Let’s give you your bottle,” Mama Angela said moving on. She picked Danny up and carried him to the couch. She sat him on her lap and held the bottle to Danny’s mouth. Danny opened his mouth and began suckling his bottle. Mama Angela knew she should tell Danny what he was drinking but she did not want to put him in a bad mood before going out. The opportunity to tell him would be there later. For now, she just let him enjoy is bottle. Once Danny finished, she decided to tell him her plan for today. “Ok Danny we have a busy day planned,” Mama Angela told him. “We are going shopping for some clothes for you. Then after that we will have lunch and you will have a nap. Then we will see how your leg feels when you stand.” “Who gets to pick out the clothes?” Danny asked. He knew he wardrobe here was limited but he wanted to decide what he would wear. “You will get your say,” Mama Angela assured him. “But me and Mommy Ashley will be able to pick things or veto certain clothes.” Danny noticed Mommy Ashley roll her eyes when she heard her name. Danny assumed she was upset about having to interact with him more today. “I am going to get ready,” Mama Angela told Danny. “I will put on the sports network and Mommy Ashley will be with you. Be a good boy for me.” “I will,” Danny said, and Mama Angela gave him a kiss and ran upstairs. Danny noticed the look on Ashley’s face and knew something was going on. “So do you like shopping?” Danny asked hoping to have a polite conversation. “Not at all,” Ashley said. “At least not with Angela. I love her but she is a shopaholic. You will find that out today.” “This is going to be fun,” Danny said sarcastically. “Guessing you’re not a fan of shopping either,” Ashley said. “Not at all,” Danny responded. “Well, this will be an interesting experience,” Ashley said trying to hide her opposition to taking Danny anywhere. Mama Angela came back down. “Now Danny, I need you to follow a few rules for the shopping trip today.” “What are they?” Danny asked “Most importantly no hitting anybody or anything,” Mama Angela told him. “Keep your hands, feet, and everything else to yourself. Danny stayed silent but mentally groaned. He realized it would be just Mama Angela stated the obvious. “Second, no swearing,” Mama Angela continued. “I know it may seem stupid to you, but the other amazons will make an issue out of it. Three, do not yell or scream. It will draw a lot of attention to us and may put other amazons into a bad mood. Four, do not throw or purposely ruin the merchandize. Five, other amazons may approach you and try to touch you just keep calm and let me and Mommy Ashley take care of it. Six, you need to listen to the two of us. We promise we are on your side. Do you understand sweetheart.” “I understand,” Danny said. “Do you understand I am an adult not a toddler? “I know Danny,” Mama Angela said. “But with the differences between how you would be expected to act here versus how you would be expected to act in your dimension is very different so I thought it would be best to go over what is unacceptable here.” “Okay,” Danny said. “Good,” Mama Angela said. “Now let’s go shopping.”
  14. Chapter 32 “Any problems putting him to bed,” Ashley asked her wife. “Absolutely none,” Angela responded. “He was an absolute angel and is now sleeping like a baby.” “That is good,” Ashley said. If they had to have a little, she at least wanted one who was well behaved. “Time to call Cassandra,” Angela told Ashley. “She is going to ask about medical details from the surgery. What do you think I should tell her?” “Just tell her about the surgery lasting several hours and the nanites not working as intended,” Ashley suggested. “If she wants more information, I can give her some more technical details either by phone tonight or the next time we meet.” “That probably works best,” Angela said. “Well wish me luck.” “Good luck,” Ashley replied. Angela took a deep breath as see dialed Cassandra’s number. Angela felt like it was best to get a hold of Cassandra early and help her professionally but still recognized the risks. Cassandra is very stubborn and had gotten many connections throughout her years as a reporter. There was a slim possibility she already knew that Danny was the little she was writing about. If so, she would probably want to talk to him immediately and Angela would deny it. Even if Cassandra does not find out that Angela adopted the little, she was looking for, Angela would eventually have to come clean and was not sure how Cassandra would react to being lied to. She valued the friendship the two had for nearly 10 years and hated the thought of it ending over this. All her fears went away when she heard the familiar voice on the other end of the phone. “Hello Cassandra Bush speaking.” “Hey Cassandra, it’s Angela,” “Angie,” Cassandra said excitedly “I have been meaning to give you a call. I heard you and Ashley finally adopted a little.” “Yeah,” Angela said. “I have been meaning to talk to you as well, but things have been a little hectic here.” “I can only imagine with a new bundle of joy running around,” Cassandra stated. “What is the little one’s name? Everyone at the office knows you adopted but that is all we know. You know how much I love to be the one who reports it first.” “He is a little boy named Danny,” Angela told her. “He is just the cutest little thing. He is still terrified of this dimension, but we are doing our best to help him adjust.” “How is Angela dealing with this?” Cassandra asked. “She was pretty adamant the last time it came up that she didn’t want a little.” “It was tough,” Angela admitted. “Ashley was working late on a difficult case when I was introduced to the fussy little Danny. I was able to get him calm. Both the head of the ER and the head of the hospital saw how well I did with him and suggested to Ashley, we adopt him. Ashley told me she said yes to help her career more than anything, but I think she is slowly warming up to him.” “I have to ask,” Cassandra said. “This difficult case Ashley worked on wouldn’t have anything to do with my most recent story?” “It does,” Angela admitted. “Ashley was doing that surgery while I meet Danny,” She did not consider what she was telling a lie. Ashley was dealing with Danny when Angela met him. She knew she was misleading her friend, but Danny came first. “I have actually been wanting to talk to Ashley about that,” Cassandra admitted. “But with the two of you having a new little I assumed you were a little busy.” “We are,” Angela admitted. “But Danny asleep in his crib right now.” “Him sleeping is probably the only peace and quiet you two will get for a little while.” “Probably,” Angela said. “But I don’t mind the noise so long as it happy noises. I would prefer no more tears and no more temper tantrums but that is part of having a little.” “Unfortunately, that is true,” Cassandra said. “But I know with you and Ashley as parents he will be happy much more than he will be upset. I know at first, he will seem sad but over time he will adjust.” “Thanks Cassandra,” Angela replied. “You always know what to say.” “No problem,” Cassandra said. “Is it possible for me to talk with Ashley about the portal little my story was about? I want to get a little more detail on who he was and why he was sent here.” “You know Ashley is big on protecting patient privacy, but you can talk to her, “Angela stated. “But I was there, and I asked a few questions myself when I heard what was going on.” “Thanks,” Cassandra said. “Was worried that Ashley would block me, and I would be stuck. What can you tell me about who he was in his dimension?” “Not a lot I am afraid,” Angela replied. “All they really said at the hospital was that the little was attacked by a group of littles in his dimension and beaten severely. The hospitals in his dimension could not save him, so they sent him here hoping to save his life. They still do not know that we have portals other than the long-standing ones at the portal center.” “So, they did not know that there was a safer way to send him,” Cassandra said. “The poor thing everything just seemed to go wrong for him that day. Do you have a name?” “Sorry they gave me initials but that was it,” Angela told her. “Well that at least would be a start,” Cassandra replied. “He initial were D as in delta W as in whiskey,” Angela said. She knew she was taking a risk giving Cassandra that information. If she found out somehow that a little named Daniel Walker was the only little boy sent here with those initials, then she would probably put two and two together. Angela also knew little adoption records could be requested 90 days after adoptions. This was mainly for native littles so they could know if their loved ones were adopted but journalist and researchers can use it as well. Angela was confident she would have told Cassie the truth by then so she could not check the adoption records to find out who adopted him. “That’s at least a starting point,” Cassandra said. “Do you know how bad the injuries were or would it be better to talk to Ash about that?” “Ashley will know more about the specifics of the injuries,” Angela told her. “All I know is it was very serious. Made worse by the portals radiation making the nanites ineffective.” “What?” Cassandra said shocked. “I have never of nanites failing before.” “They did during that littles surgery,” Angela said. “It was so bad that it took them over five hours and even then, they said they were going to need to do a second surgery to fix everything.” “Well, this will be another headline story,” Cassandra stated. “Can I ask Ash a few questions about the surgery.” “Of course, I will get her on the phone,” Angela said before putting the phone down and returning to her wife. “Ok Ashley, Cassandra wants to talk to you about the details of the surgery on the little boy.” “Ok,” Ashley stated. “I will still answer within hospital rules.” “Perfect,” Angela said as she handed the phone to Ashley. “Hello Cassandra,” Ashley greeted. Hello Ashley,” Cassandra pleasantly said. “Anything you can tell me about the portal little sent by his dimension?” “All I can confirm at this time is that we did get a little sent by his dimension with life threatening wounds.” “Anything you can tell a friend off the record?” Cassandra asked. “He had suffered multiple injuries with the worst injured parts being his right leg,” Ashley admitted. As Danny’s parent patient’s confidentiality rules did not apply so no risk in giving a little more information. “He also suffered a significant head trauma.” “Would you mind giving me a name,” Cassandra asked. “I can’t, I could get fired for that one,” Ashley replied. “I knew that was a long shot,” Cassandra said. “Angela told me about some problems with the nanites causing his surgery to be over five hours. Is that true?” “That is true,” Ashley admitted reluctantly. “He was not properly prepped for the transport which exposed him to the radiation created by the portal. It was not life-threatening radiation in any stretch of the imagination, but it was enough to affect the nanites.” “Wow,” Cassandra said. “Hopefully you get a nice reward for going above and beyond to save that little.” “I got punished,” Ashley replied. “Angela took a liking to a little when she arrived concern about how long she had not been able to get ahold of me for and now, we are parents.” Ashley looked over and saw Angela glaring at her for that comment. “I heard,” Cassandra noted. “Angela was telling me how excited you were about it.” “Yeah, I was thrilled after the surgery,” Ashley said sarcastically. Ashley had a feeling she would be sleeping on the couch tonight if this conversation continued much longer. “You will survive,” Cassandra said. “Thanks Cassandra,” Ashley said. “You have any more question for me?” “A ton but I doubt you will answer them,” Cassandra told her. “I probably won’t,” Ashley admitted. “I know you probably want to get to sleep. Little Danny probably is exhausting you two right now.” “To say the least,” Ashley said. “Can you put me on speaker so I can talk to both of you really quick before saying good night?” Cassandra asked. “Sure thing,” Ashley replied and put her on speaker. “I’m back,” Angela told Cassandra. “Great to hear from both of you,” Cassandra said. “Let’s do lunch this week. Bring Danny with you I would love to meet him.” Angela was a little apprehensive about the idea of bringing Danny to a restaurant. Mealtimes had been one of the biggest areas of struggles for Danny since coming here. Despite this Angela wanted Cassandra and Danny to meet. Not because of Cassandra ‘s story but because Cassandra was one of both Angela’s and Ashley’s best friends and they did not want to lose her friendship. “We will see how he is doing next week and set up a date then,” Angela decided and told Cassandra. “Works for me,” Cassandra responded. “Good luck with Danny and good night.” “Good night,” Angela and Ashley said in unison before hanging up the phone. “Are you seriously considering taking Danny to a restaurant next week?” Ashley asked thinking that sounded like a horrible idea. “Maybe,” Angela replied. “We will see how things go next week once he can move and eat solid foods. I am nervous about it as well, but Danny has done surprisingly well so far. If he continues on that path, it might end well.” “Or it could end poorly,” Ashley pointed out. “True,” Angela said. “But Cassandra understands a new little is complicated and takes time to get him behaving properly.” “And the other diners,” Ashley said. “When Danny has a tantrum, it will effect more than just the three of us.” “Apologize and try to get him out of the situation and calm as soon as possible,” Angela told her wife. Ashley was glad that at least Angela was aware of how badly this could backfire. Maybe Angela was being more realistic about Danny now that the initial shock is over. “Let’s talk about it more after this weekend,” Ashley said. “Agreed,” Angela responded. “We have enough to worry about right now.” The two enjoyed an uneventful evening before going to bed themselves.
  15. Good question. Before writing I had an outline of about 35 chapters. This is my first time writing a story like this and I did not realize how much went in to it and more chapters have been added. I try to update the outline every 5 chapters to give me a clear direction for the characters and resolve all the major plot points I have planned. Currently have it at about 60 chapters but that might change as well. Thank you very much!!
