There are two specific things that I would like to see all companies who make diapers change/become uniform in how they do things. First I will say what I want to see become uniform on. I think & I don't know how unless it's that some diapers aren't made in the US, but I would like to see all companies regardless of country of origin use the same measuring system so you know that if you're a particular size in one brand, you're that size in all brands. Secondly, I know that a lot of our plastic backed diapers are disappearing from market, & I do enjoy the plastic backed, this being said I would like to see plastic backed diapers have a landing zone for the tapes that allow for readjusting if necessary.

Thanks guys & from looking at them side-by-side, I agree with you justforfun.

Hi everyone, like the title says I'm inexperienced about this. I just got my first bag of Abena M3's. I pulled out & compared one of the M3's to an M2 side-by-side. I thought that there might be a thickness difference in addition to the absorbency difference. Am I wrong & are the M2's & M3's both the same thickness?

As for hiding them, the best answer would be to wear loose fitting clothes. You didn't say whether you are planning to wear thicker premium diapers or thinner ones. Thinner are obviously easier to hide & are already more discreet. Have you worn & used your diapers while at home? It's pretty much the same out in public. At least for me, having trust in that my diaper won't leak leading to embarrassment was key too. Hope this helps.

For wetting & occasional pooping when in the mood.

I hadn't noticed & can't answer your question for sure, but my logic would say that this exactly why, lol.

Also keep in mind that your daughter's asking why, may have been out of concern like she's worried about something medically being wrong with her father. (Not that this is the case, but it may be why your daughter asked when she saw you in one) I agree with dlnoir, tell her the truth but don't go into more detail than you have to. Your daughter at that age hopefully will realize & accept that some adults have unusual things they like to do behind closed doors in the bedroom, so hopefully once your daughter knows it's not a medical issue that she needs to be worried about, it'll be the end of it.

I would say that you should be honest. It may be hard, but if you're not honest, what kind of example are you setting for your daughter?

Welcome & Hi Jane, this is a great place to explore with lots of people, & varying degrees of interest. Have fun!

Everyday people, just like the rest of us. (Except for that we have a unique interest/hobby that they don't.

I have to say & it recently got suggested to me & I was surprised & didn't even think about it at first to check Amazon. It varies by diaper brand of course, but I am finding that in most instances it seems you can get diapers cheaper

I must admit, that back in the day, when I was only able to pretty much wear store brands that were all cloth backed, I discovered my being a DL after depends had originally stopped being plastic-backed, I didn't understand what the big deal was with plastic vs cloth backed was. Now that I have had a chance to wear some more of what plastic backed diapers that are still out there, I see the point. Not that I hate or am totally against cloth backed as some people are, but I like plastic now too. It will be interesting to see if this happens & if other companies follow suit as Rusty said.

No problem. Glad I could help.

Thanks for the clarification Xander. I use Desitin myself & it doesn't wash off easily either.

I recently (this month) had a couple of tapes on Tranquility ATN's Fail me. I think in my case though it was due to the sizing because I think I need Larges in those instead of Mediums. I too am careful when putting on rash cream & powder. Out of curiousness Zander, what cream do you use & does it easily wash off the rubber gloves?

Yes. Click on your Username in the upper right hand corner on computers & click on "manage ignored users" & you can search & find user(s) that you want/need to block. Hope this helps,

I've never thought about that. Great! Thanks! Something else to occupy my thoughts. Just kidding. Very good question though. It will be interesting to see the replies. I know that being a little is very much a part of who I am. Now, curious to find out about how mommies/daddies feel about who they are.
Ha-ha! Sorry, being an (often overthinking) Introvert, I do a lot of thinking of unusual things, that others often don't think about. It wasn't intentional, believe me, I often wish that I didn't think as much as I do, lol.

ABDL is not genetic nor an instinct. Our research demonstrates that regression is a growing and developing response to the failure to navigate or complete a step of young childhood development that creates 'fixations'. We are constantly dragged back to this fixation in a vain attempt to resolve it.

I've been thinking about this for awhile. It has been discussed pretty thoroughly that being an AB/DL is likely hard-wired into us, it's who we are. I'm wondering if it's the same way for mommies & daddies. I can see the possibilities where it may & may not be hard wired, I'm just curious. Based on some posts that I've seen from various mommy/daddy members here & how some of them seem to get a lot of pleasure/satisfaction from being a mommy/daddy, much like we AB/DL's get our satisfaction being who we are.

I agree with AbabeBill. Just like Cursive writing. Young Kids will say "it's a clock, but I can't tell what time it is" LOL.
