You may want to try it on for size, quite possibly not among your current friends and family, but in new circumstances. There are also many part-timers, and that is something you might want to consider. I am with those here who say hat thinking you want it is not the same as the reality of living it full time, and a full time trial of a year's duration is an excellent idea for those thinking about a transition.

I build models and have found that wearing helps while involved in a project. Even though I am indoors and the freaking bathroom is only a few steps away, taking time from wet paint or clamping something you just glued and having to stop to go to the bathroom is just a hassle. It's just easier to wear a diaper and use that then to have to stop, clean a brush or put a freshly glued assembly down and take off your gloves to take care of mother nature

WARMTH! Goodness gracious, but some good heat trapping padding is actually a welcome feel when it gets chilly, and I get chilly easy.

While out sledding on my hill. The extra padding cushions your butt, plus you don't really want to open up your clothes when it's cold out.
