  1. I have no problem at all stating that I'm on SPANDI, though I've had nothing at all to do with its creation, and my "advertising" is aimed solely at remaining in contact with my ADISC friends. I can understand why you'd misinterpret my intentions though, as by your own admission you didn't participate on ADISC. A support community isn't just a computer science project or a library of decades-old posts. It's a group of people. If you look through all the stuff you took, you'll find hundreds, perhaps even thousands of posts titled "What's your favorite diaper?" Those seemingly redundant posts exist, not because some idiot didn't know how to use the search feature, but because some lonely newcomer wanted to interact. You missed the point.
  2. But you won't say who you were on ADISC, which to me suggests that you know you did something you shouldn't have done.
  3. I'll hazard a guess that I'm addressing the ADISCer formerly known as PullupAndy, who argued passionately for creating a nonprofit to run ADISC, talked about his experience running forums and ability to "archive some of" ADISC, and then curiously did not appear on either SPANDI or DLABIS, ADISC's two immediate spin-offs. No confirmation necessary. I suppose you're aware that your actions are elsewhere being called illegal. For the benefit of those who might join this "undead" ADISC you've conjured, you might consider a formal rebuttal.
  4. Nice to see someone from adisc!  I also follow your posts on FA!

Yeah!  Get your license.  I actually have not done much with SDRs, though I have played with them, IRL and virtually via the many web-facing SDR projects that exist now.  I do a lot of fox hunting (also called bunny hunting! 😬😓), and a couple of our group's regulars are way into SDR, and are always bringing their new gear to the hunts.  Believe it or not, I spend most of my time on the air doing Morse (CW).  It's no longer a license requirement, and its use has declined precipitously since the late 90s, but I think it's a fun little arcane corner of the hobby.  It's also a great excuse to play with even more vintage tech. :)

I've often wondered whether there's an unusually large intersection between ABDL and geekdom, ha ha.  Maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see, but it seems real.  I worked for a big software company (100k+ employees) for about 17 years, and by the time I left I'd become acquainted with more than a dozen ABDL coworkers.  That was thanks to another ADISCer, actually.  Kind of astonishing, considering I'd been completely alone in this diaper interest only a few years earlier.

Did you spend a lot of time waiting your turn at Dig Dug when you were younger? :) I remember going to a local pizza restaurant as a kid in the early 80s, and pizza places all had arcade machines.  I'd beg Mom for quarters so I could play Frogger or Zaxxon.  Those quarters sure went fast!  I sucked at those games.

My friends and I would ride our bikes to a bowling alley about 2 hours from our houses (ya gotta love the 80s) to play arcade games.  Yea DigDug, Pacman, Donkey Kong, etc. were all there.  Guess you found out what was my fav game huh? We rode bikes and played all day!  Man those were great times!

Wow I can't believe you found a dozen ABDL coworkers!  How did that even happen?  I've never encountered another person with ABDL interests in real life.  I'm real shy about that so probably never will 😺.  I suppose I should never say never though.

BTW, I volunteer with dozens of hams at the museum (it's a radio museum) and they all tell me to get licensed 😺.  I suppose I should.

The coworker thing was not my doing.  Another ADISCer, after seeing my posts and how I described my job, DM-ed me and asked if I happened to work at, shall we say, Company X.  "Why, yes I do!"  / "Me too."  Turned out that he'd correctly guessed that about a few others as well (like I said, it was a huge company).  Over a couple of years, that group got larger.  Toward the end of my tenure there, we even had monthly munches in the company cafes.  Quite a thing!  I miss that.  I was a regular at a few other munches during those years, and everybody was very respectful.  I never had a bad time, so if you're at all inclined toward meeting others, I'll recommend it.

Wow, that's really cool about the radio museum.  I can see having a lot of fun with that!  There's a museum in Bellingham, WA, not far from me, called The Spark Museum.  Loads of fun, interactive exhibits, and vintage gear.  I wish I could visit more often.  The curator is really cool too.

I'm about to hop a train to Seattle.  Might write more later!

  5. Hey!  I know you! 🤪🤭

      Hey there friend! haha

  6. Thanks all. As somebody whose been collecting Curity diapers (but mostly prefolds) off of eBay for years, I was really surprised to see something labeled "Curity" that I hadn't seen already. Pretty wild. Yeah, I ought to have clarified my "adult sized" comment. These are sized and shaped like adult prefolds. They certainly could be folded down for babies, but they're not shaped like any Curity baby diaper I've seen, nor like any modern "flat." But I'm leaning toward the "not a diaper" diagnosis anyway.
  7. I saw these on eBay a couple of days ago and had to pounce. I've never seen their like before. The seller called them Curity baby diapers, however they have a few odd traits that I've never seen in a Curity diaper before. These include: They're big! 32x24" - one might say "adult-sized" (I actually pinned one on with diaper pins and it's a decent fit!) They're double-woven / muslin gauze They have two layers of fabric and are serged all the way around They have ties at the four corners (pictures below) So, uh... What the heck are these things? It's tempting to say that they're adult diapers meant to tie at the hips (like Snibbs), but I'm 99% sure that's wrong. Maybe they're mats for cribs or incubators or something? Meant to tie to the bars in the corners? (shrug) All guesses welcome.
  8. The tabbed diapers are all gone. Still have some of the pull-ups, however.
  9. FWIW, I still have four bags of the pull-ups and one bag of the tabbed diapers. ~Cottonbutt
  10. That T-shaped "original" arrangement is one I use and enjoy. Easy to audition without any sewing, too: Just pin them into that shape with a few extra diaper pins. I grew up wearing Curity prefolds, and have been collecting them from eBay for a while. A few years ago, I hired somebody to sew me some "Curi-Tees," as I call them. First batch was sewn edge-to-edge, but I found that to be a little fragile, possibly because of the lightweight gauze fabric. Second batch used about a half inch of overlap between the diapers. I was worried that I'd feel that when I sat on it, but as I almost always place a couple of extra diapers down the middle, the overlap can't be felt. That second batch has been in my rotation for a few years now and is holding up well.
  11. For those who wanted these but couldn't figure out to get them, I'm offering for sale bags of both the Pikachu tabbed diapers and the pull-ups, both size XL. For the diapers, this equates roughly to a US size 6, for the pull-ups, roughly a US size 4T-5T. Each bag of diapers or pull-ups will ship with four loose ones as well, so if you're meaning to keep the bag unopened (e.g. for collecting), you'll still have a few to look at and play with. The loose diapers will include two of each print. Shipping will be in a plain brown (discreet) box. I've put the bags and loose diapers in heavy-gauge Ziplocs with dessicant, and bubble-wrapped them, so they'll arrive in great shape. See pictures below. Diapers Price: $75 + $25 s/h USPS Priority Mail (US destinations only, please.) What you get: One unopened bag of 28 plus 4 loose diapers, for a total of 32. As of this writing, I have 7 of these available. Pull-ups Price: $75 + $25 s/h USPS Priority Mail (US destinations only, please.) What you get: One unopened bag of 32 plus 4 loose diapers, for a total of 36. As of this writing, I have 9 of these available. Payment by PayPal. PM with interest. --- Some pictures of the tabbed diapers: ...and the pull-ups:
  12. Don't be too eager to drink the sour punch being offered on this thread.
  13. Perhaps unbelievably, Pampers Cruisers 7 are now smaller than Baby Dry 6.
