would it be possible to not allow google search to reference fourm posts? i googled my screen name and many posts from this site popped up,

I know you can prevent google or other search sites from using forum posts from coming up! with out hurting the the web page from coming on google search .

as a curtesy to all of your members privacy i would think this would be a concern of yours!

thanks for listing

i would like to remain a member if this can be resolved!

I just googled my handle, and got my profiles for this site, diapermates, and diaperspace all listed...

Altho there's also someone using this name on photobucket but it ain't me...

It would probably be better when you chose to join a site such as this that you don't use the same one on multiple sites not of this nature. At least that's what the search shows for your log-in name. To me it's a rather daunting task just for the sake of your mistake in internet knowledge. Once something is on the internet, it's basically there forever. So even if Daily Di did entertain your request all of your posts on Diapermates and Here will still be searchable up till then. I'll let the computer nerd's/geeks jump in here and Daily will probably explain it better than I.

I can however change your name on this site, if that would help you want to hang around. ;)

Repaid said what I was going to say, only a lot nicer.

The real question is do you use this screenname on other sites that aren't related to this fetish? If not, then who cares.

Good point both of you... I *only* use this name for my "fetish" related activities...

I have other separate email accounts for other factors of my life...

hey i have the same problem i wrote a review and was stupid enough to put my name on it

Repaid, could you please remove it for me?

If it was on the forum portion of the site, you can edit the post yourself.

If it was not on the forum portion you might have to see if Mike(DailyDi) can edit it out for you. I think Repaid only deals with the forum.

Correct! ;)

Thanks for the reply :) Yes, it is in fact in the "review" part of the site, so it's beyond my access. I sent a PM to dailydi a few days but, but got no response. Maybe he'll see this thread and help?

Google can and will limit searches if the site owner requests it. The main site can be made to appear without forums and other stuff showing up. I don't know how to do it but I know it can be done because a couple places I used to hang out at did that wink.gif There's an online group I am a member of that you will not find through any search engine. The only way you get in is by invitation and an interview. They want and achieve total privacy- I know because I tried searching for them myself before joining. Even our screen names don't bring up a reference to the group while they show the rest. I was told that it took some doing to achieve that level of hiding by the site owner but she didn't explain it.

Whatever DD wants to do or not is fine with me, but a little more anonymity might be a good thing for the members happy.gif

Having said that Repaid1 has it right- it's up to each of us to be careful and take steps to maintain our own security. If you aren't smart you deserve the education you're going to get ohmy.gif If I were worried about it that much I would have never gone past lurking. It's not something I want blabbed everywhere but the truth us that I am a DL and you can't really hide from the truth rolleyes.gif I'm not so worried about it that I'll let anyone harm me over it. I have a habit of getting even with bad people so what they try to do to me will come back to haunt them- promise smile.gif
