  1. *Wavies* hello... FROM THE FUTURE.. or something. Anyway, thanks for the info!
  2. Hey, I'm planning a meetup for AB/DL's, but I don't know what part of this forum it should be posted on. Should it go in the meetings area, or would it be okay on the main discussion board?
  3. Awww... yer gonna make me cwy! hehe, just kidding.
  4. Does Milwaukee count? I know it's not Madison, but it's not too far, either.
  5. Where's my flying car?! My self-cleaning diapers?! My robo-nanny?! Hell, I'd settle for just a holodeck ! Anyway, Just wanting to say Happy New Year to everyone, and putting myself out there. I'm up for meeting people, so feel free to contact me. I'm actually in the early planning stages of some sort of meet & Greet and/or munch and/or "party" in the Milwaukee area. I've got access to a private clubhouse to entertain in, but I can go bigger or smaller depending on the amount of interest. Like I said, this is the early stages of planning, but would LOVE to have some sort of idea as to how many would be interested. If you're planning something yourself in the area, drop me a line if you wish, and I can help with organizing, planning, or just showing up. Anyway, For whatever may come in the new year, I wish you all the best in all your endeavors, and look forward to meeting more of you in the upcoming months.
  6. It took some time, but just last year I got my own and just pushed buttons until I figured it out!
  7. The only reason for not heating it in a microwave (not like I need those protiens) is the uneven heating... but that's solved just by shaking the bottle.
  8. Actually, If you go back to the core of the issue, Ronnie, you'll see that the main argument against it is the choice. Even in bondage, there is a choice, a safe word, a limit.... something. When you're incontinent, there is no choice, you're stuck that way. It's as if someone bound you up and walked away, probably forever. Now, if it were an option to say "duck" and just go back to being continent, then hey, more power to ya, but that doesn't happen. I'm not going to say that's not part of the appeal to people, or that it's part of the "helplessness" or something, but to try and say that it's just another form of bondage is to ignore the fact that one is permanent, and the other is not. That is where the problem comes for me when I hear people ask how to be incontinent. Maybe some of the attitude towards people who say they wish to be incontinent IS scornful, but hey, what do you expect? People see (me included) see these people as uninformed, idiotic, and just plain not thinking. Hell, maybe they DID think about it, and if so, more power to them. But if they DID think about it, they would probably have found a way to do it instead of just popping on a forum and asking. Usually with bad grammar and spelling, to boot. The first thing that pops into my head, and probably many others, is "What a moron!", and with good reason. I'm gonna say that the majority of people who are incontinent would change that if given even a tiny chance. It's not a condition that improves your life, as I'm sure you know. So why do harm to yourself? In short, your theory that it's another form of bondage may hold some water, but the argument of choice is still THE argument against it, not that it's "weird". I bet a lot of people here would LOVE to have the ability to turn their continence on and off at will, the same way people who are into bondage LOVE to be tied up... when they want it.
  9. Hmmm... well, the very few times I've gone out in public long enough to possibly require a change, I've taken a few spare diapers, a change of pants, a pack of wipes, a small container of powder, and that's about it. I see no reason to take things like pacifiers or pads out, simply because.. well, when the hell would I use them? There's a thin line between being prepared and being blatant.
  10. I'm inclined to agree here. I don't feel the need to tell people about my AB/DL stuff more out of respect for their views and beliefs than any sort of fear of rejection. Some people just don't want to know. As for changing, even if they did know, asking to use their bed or floor for changing on is going a bit too far. There's no reason other than your personal preference for doing it that way, and quite frankly, it's rude to assume that they should allow it. I mean, that's people property you're laying your wet and/or messy bottom on. Despite having a pad or whatever, those sorts of things should be done in the bathroom out of respect for other people's property.
  11. Well, I certainly wouldn't be going about it quite like that, but when talking to people, and telling each other about yourselves, just slip in that you're incontinent. Just mention it, but don't dwell on it.
  12. Well, since this has come up in another place, let me just assure you that I'm not looking for people to "play" with, but just to hang out with as friends. AB/DL stuff doesn't run my life, and I see no reason for that to be the sole basis of any friendship/relationship.
  13. HEy! I love Baby Forumla's taste! I drink it quite regularly and so far nothing has happened to me. Then again, it's not the ONLY thing I consume, just as a recreation beverage. Nothing's happened to my poop. It's still there, and it still stinks However, for my money, the Similac Regular formula (in the blue container) is the best for my tastes. Warm it in the microwave for about a minute and a half (no nipple, it will screw up the nipple) and you're in baby heaven.
  14. For the sake of being objective, there are many way to become incontinent, and there's actually a good article over at infantilism.org (I think it's still called that). Anyway, for my thoughts... this is stupid. I spent the first 15 years of my life bowel incontinent due to a birth defect, and it was NOT fun. It probably led to me being an AB, due to other extenuating circumstances, but trust me, the ability to choose is where the fun of it is. When you loose that choice, you loose the fun.
