why do people chew and what kind of gum do people like???

I chew orbits the blue one...but only once in a while. Mainly for nervousness and to reduce stress

As for me I only chew gum once in a great while...I don't like it all that much. When I do I like Extra Spearmint. I like the green color of it.

can someone give me tips on how to crack or pop my gum? I can't seem to do it. I mean I can blow bubbles with regular bubble gum (like bazooka or bubble yum) but can't make any noise with regular stick gum like extra or trident. Any tips??? Please!!!!!!!!

Sure...like blowing a bubble in reverse. Spread the gum between the lips and the front of the teeth. Draw back your tongue to create a suction...and volia, a "pop" sound

Used to love to drive people crazy with that!

hmm smells like marketing questioning to me. very sly.

Nope not marketing at all. Just curious. Was looking at some photos on flickr (in a category thats called whats in your puirse), and one had a pack of gum in it (trident spearmint) and the note on it was that the woman was a stress chewer. And that led me to wonder why people chew gum. And at least here in the states people seem to chew a lot of gum.

AS far as what brand people prefer i was just curious if people had the same loyalty to brands of gum as they do to brands of diapers

i chew mainly for fresh breath but the flavor varies.... but I guess cinamon (if I can get it) is the best... but normaly I buy spearmint. And the brand is... well Orbit, but its owned by Wrigleys, right?

I don't chew gum very often, as for whatever reason, I get headaches when I do. If I do chew gum (on the rare occasions I do), it would have to be a classic piece of standard pink bubble gum, like Bazooka or Bubble Yum.
