Can't see messages via mobile version anymore

Hey, I have a problem with the mobile version of DD. There used to be a button on the rop of right where I could click to see new messages and stuff, but since a few days it is just vanished. Is it just me or was there a buggy update? 

Ok, I see this is because I changed the theme to dark mode on my pc, but it's still weird
