Pre-op trans girl considering peace of mind/Just in case protection

Hey all so pretty much what it says on the tin. I'm looking at potentially starting a new job where might not always be able to take breaks reliably and have some mild urgency issues and could use some "just in case" type protection. I'm looking at reusable bladder leak/period panties like "Thinx" or "Nix" since I don't want to keep throwing away disposables I'm not using. Would these actually work for me if they did become needed give the placement of the pads in them and my ummm... Anatomical situation? >~<

If it's not a lot of wetting, probably, you'll just need to make sure that the anatomy is lined up with where you placed the pad - push it forward more than you would otherwise. I believe there may also be cloth versions of the incontinence shields that they sell for thar particular situation that sit in the front of pants.

Noted, thanks TJ!

Before I started 24/7 I was using incontinence panties. They have a small built in cotton pad in the crotch with a waterproof lining between the pad and the outside fabric of the panty. I have urge incontinence and this offered some protection if I leaked a little.

As for where the pad is in the crotch rather than in front, when properly tucked, any leakage ended up in the pad not the sheer nylon front of the panties. Tucking also helps with urgency because it kinks the urethra making it more difficult for anything to leak.

Hugs,

Freta
