ValentinesStuff Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/best-adult-diapers/ While it's debatable as to which are the actual best adult diapers, and these guys only tested 15 brands. This included a real world 48 hour test by an incontinent farmer going about his normal day! Not just lab tests. It also includes brief descriptions on why the others didn't make the grade. 2
DailyDi Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 The results match our 'testing" they could have just asked us 1
Jeff42 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 It's fairly accurate honestly, I'm glad to see they used testers who are actually physically active, this is something a lot of reviewers forget about. 1
jeremy12312 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Lol. Love that Rearz got called out for their fake capacity numbers by the New York Freakin' Times. 1
Spanky Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 That poor farmer tester had to change the Depends 12 times a day. It's a good read. I just think that they could have gotten more testers involved instead of just one. I'm surprised that they dismissed the Betterdry and Abena diapers without the tester wearing them for the 48 hour test.

None of them were of high enough quality to deal with his incontinence. The 12 is a projected number.

It still would have been interesting if he would have tested the Betterdry and Abena diapers. And a few more testers for comparison. I wonder if the farmer is a member of this group. I can remember a farmer posting pictures of himself on the farm in a diaper. I tried searching, but couldn't find the pics

That, and how did the NYT's find him or contact him to do the testing? Maybe they worked with a urologist who had the farmer as a patient, or maybe the farmer suggested the topic?
