Having issues accessing messages

Hello, I'm having trouble accessing messages while in the forum boards while on my phone.  

Is their any issue with my account? My username is bjandthebear.  My screen just gets dark when I try to click on the 3 bars on the upper right corner,  no new window will open.

 Try sliding the screen left after it goes darker.
