Sunday Brunch! Whoop Whoop!

So today for Sunday brunch I made:

Waffles!  Nothing too fancy, just used store bought waffle mix, but I added a dash of cinnomon, and a dash of vanilla extract to the mix.

Also made:

Bacon, grits, and sliced up a fresh orange.

Oh and Coffee

I just had toast for breakfast, since I plan to eat a lot during the Super Bowl party my buddy is hosting. But in general, I love a good brunch, and waffles are something we used to make but haven't for quite a while. We have a couple of waffle irons - I'll have to dig them out. I think my daughter would be all over making them again, and we just got a whack of maple syrup from a local producer my wife knows. I think we have like four gallons of it.

Coffee & one banana...that's breakfast for me these days. Being on a diet sucks until you step on the scale and see real results ( I've lost 15 lbs in 4 weeks ). 

Also re-discovered how potent hard-boiled eggs are for flatulence
