will1982
So I went out to the pub while wearing diapers a few days ago. I was wearing some thick Kendalls along with a stuffer. I thought for sure it would last me a few beers. Well, I only had three beers, when I realized not only was my diaper filled, but I didn't have much time before it leaked. I made it home in the nick of time, because one more wetting and the thing leaked like there was no tomorrow! So my question is this: especially for you incontinent folk out there, how do you handle a normal, 20-something social life at the pubs/out drinking while wearing a diaper? Do you have to bring extra diapers or leave early or...? Link to comment
Radioman
Diaper Bag. Take the supplies you need to change on the go.. If you know you are going to drink and void alot, a better quality diaper such as Abnea XPlus would be a good idea. Or if they are not handy, double diaper and use inserts. I tried to not let it slow me down>> Link to comment

bobbyc
Though I'm not incontinent, I have worn diapers plenty of times to bars and have learned that it's best to stay away from beer - save that for drinking at home. Stick with drinks on the rocks or martinis. Also, as changing at a bar can be nearly impossible due to stalls without doors, etc., pick bars that have one-person bathrooms. Do your best to not change at bars, though, as people will start banging on the door if you take more than 3-4 minutes! Going out for beers/drinks is one of the most difficult things for me if I want to wear I diaper. Good question - I'm curious to what other people say. Link to comment
nappyloon
Very rarely go to bars for a drink, but when I know I am going I tend to not drink before hand and always go out with a "Maxi" Nappy on and a spare in the car or bag, tend to avoid beers when possible and as the others say stick to shorts. Repaid1
I do this a bit , but don't know the 20's kinda thing Anyway, I use Molicare Super and can usally last about 6 beers then a change is in order. I have a few taverns staked out that have a private stall if not I will change out in the car. Of course I park in a private location with little to no traffic, and I can manage a change in about 1 minute. From about my bodys prospective if your on the beer, you should start flowing at about three beers, the second diaper is to catch what's left. I can stay out with my wife for several hours if I change every hour or so. A booster is a good Idea, but you tend to be alot more noticeable, just before the change with the swelling. tris
I can make a Tena Super leak within 2 hours while wearing at the bar or casino. The point of drinking the beers, though, is that not only is it the quantity you drink, it's just how much and how fast it comes out of you. That's usually half the fun! If I'm out with my friends who are in the know, they make sure I get changed in time. If I'm out with guys I don't know, I will hafta hit the car for a smokebreak and a private change session. Otherwise, the night is cut short. Double diapers do seem to keep the leaks at bay, at least for a little while, though, if I'm not positioned correctically, I can leak on the first wetting. And of course, my mommy is ALWAYS watching my back. Link to comment
