One of the reasons I never use "plastic" is that it might give people the idea that I know more than I "should"

None of those look like they are rubber though.

 

I really think it's an age thing. Older ABs used rubber pants, because there were no plastic pants. When plastic pants became commonplace, the younger crowd used plastic pants.

Interestingly using "vinyl" instead of "rubber" or "plastic" comes up with more doll hits. Using "diaper" comes up with more training pants hits.

I am dealing in the non-ABDL world: i.e. the world at large. It is the "Kleenx Clke" phenomenon. Also, do you know the age of the sellers on Ebay?When I was in the nursing home, I used the term "rubber pants" with a 26 year old niece and she know what I meant and said that she had not heard that in a long time

Also, your link specified plastic, so that is all you got. Mine used "rubber" and got bothand even Euroflex. If something brings up both,  that speaks to it as a generic term
