Valeria's New Life (private)

[valeria]

With hearing melissa humming was actually soothing valeria down just enough to get her to fall asleep in melissa's arms. 

Mrs. Carson and Mrs. Larson both smiled as they watched how valeria was finally resting, as they both hope for the best that valeria gets all the care she needs.

[robehouse]

Melissa smiled and kept slowly rocking Valeria and hummed softly as Valeria slept.

Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Carson left the room, leaving Melissa and Valeria alone.

[valeria]

Valeria stayed asleep in melissa's arms for awhile as she still was having nightmares. She wishes they would go away as her one hand gripped on to melissa's shirt as she was scared of letting go.

[robehouse]

Melissa lifted Valeria to her shoulder and rubbed her back.

"Sh, it's okay. No one is going to hurt you, baby. You can wake up. It will be okay." Melissa cooed.

[valeria]

Valeria gasped trying to breathe as she woke up in melissa's arms. She rubbed her eyes and coughed a bit not wanting to see the three adults looking at her.

[robehouse]

Melissa rubbed Valeria’s back.

” It’s okay baby. You just had a bad dream. Do you want to tell me about it? I’m a good listener.” Melissa said.

 

[valeria]

Valeria shook her head no as she wouldn't talk about the bad dream she had. Mrs. Larson sighs a bit saying "she won't really talk much to either of us and when she does its very few words" 

Mrs. Carson nods agreeing a bit as she looks to melissa and says "Why don't we all have lunch so valeria could get more comfortable with you."

[robehouse]

“Alright, let’s eat.” Melissa agreed.

 She stood up still holding Valeria. She set Valeria down and followed Mrs. Carson and Mrs. Larson to the dining room.

Mrs. Larson went to get the food and Melissa helped Valeria sit down.

[valeria]

Once seated at the table valeria was barely able to see much all due to her small size. Her size was always an issue because most people think shes a toddler or even a baby, and at times never took her seriously, which was hard to deal with since she was always bullied at school too.

[robehouse]

Melissa looked at Valeria and smiled.

”Honey, how about you sit in this chair next to me so you can see all of us better?” Melissa said, patting the high chair.

 Melissa packed Valeria up and sat her in the high chair.

[valeria]

Valeria wasn't really liking this that she was put in a high chair, it was making her feel worse like she was a baby to them. She felt her eyes fill with tears as she tried getting out of the high chair.

[robehouse]

Melissa picked Valeria up and sat down. She held Valeria on her lap.

”Is this better, Honey?” Melissa said.

 Mrs. Larson brought their food in.

[valeria]

Valeria still didn't want to sit on any ones lap even if melissa was nice and only trying to help. 

Both mrs. carson and mrs. larson watched seeing how valeria's behavior was becoming an issue.

[robehouse]

"Honey, you want to be able to see, don't you? And it wouldn't be easy for you to eat in a chair. But I guess we can try it." Melissa said.

Melissa slipped Valeria in a regular chair. She took her food and fixed a plate for Valeria. She set it in front of her.

[valeria]

Valeria sighed as she was sat there in the chair as she barely would eat her lunch as she would eat very little bites of it.

[robehouse]

Melissa looked at Valeria and frowned. She picked up some of Valeria's lunch and held it in front of her mouth.

"Come on honey. You need to eat. You're a growing girl."

[valeria]

Valeria looked up a bit to melissa as she shook her head not really wanting to eat any more, even though she needs to eat more.

[robehouse]

"Just a couple of bites please?" Melissa asked, holding the food up to Valeria's mouth.

[valeria]

Still valeria shook her head no as melissa tried to feed valeria her lunch.

[robehouse]

Melissa set the food down. She ate her own lunch.

"Can you at least drink your milk?" Melissa asked, pushing a glass of milk towards Valeria.

[valeria]

Valeria didn't want that either and pushed the glass away but it ends up tipping over and falls right off the table and shatters on the floor.

[robehouse]

"That's okay Valeria. I'll clean it up." Mrs. Larson said.

"Is there anything you want to do, honey? Play? Cuddle with one of us? Or something else?" Melissa asked.

[valeria]

Valeria shook her head no as mrs. carson sighs a bit and tries to say " come on sweetie talk to us we all just want to help you and melissa here loves you and won't let anything happen to you anymore".

[robehouse]

Melissa picked Valeria up and hugged her. She sat her on her lap and cuddled her.

”I won’t let anything happen to you Valeria. You can feel safe around me.” Melissa cooed.

[valeria]

Valeria tries to get off melissa's lap not wanting to be cuddled as she didn't want anyone taking her parents place, as this upsets her.
