Wow, the boss sounds like a real jerk! I have been to Santiago, Chile with my uncle. My grandparents live in down town Santiago. I wanted to buy diapers over there but not being able to speak the language and being to embarassed to ask my uncle, I went without.

The funny thing is, when you have to use a public rest room in Chile if it's just #1 you don't have to pay but if it's #2 you pay 50 pesos for a small stack of toilet paper. I would have to keep giving them pesos to even have enough for the job. Next time I go back I'll be sure to take my own stash of diapers so I don't have to go broke just for #2!
