Guest
I saw somebody else successfully suggest an option and get it, so I will try. I am a Boy/Girl/several other options. Is it possible to add "Other" with a little box to fill in my own? Transgendered is so vague, and I'd prefer to be male without being "boy" (not a girl either). Otherwise Male Adrogyne and Female Androgyne. Or male genderqueer and female genderqueer. Of course, our intersexed friends may still feel left out. Oooh, "Fluid Boy/Girl Mix" works too! Although gender and sex really are 2 different things. Many possible solutions... hopefully one of them is easy. Link to comment

diaprbayb
I don't think " vague or broad" will work either. Link to comment
DailyDi
A fill-in box is not currently allowed by the software, but I will suggest it to Invision. Link to comment
Guest
A fill-in box is not currently allowed by the software, but I will suggest it to Invision. Cool. I figured the software would have a limitation. How about Genderqueer? It's different than trans, yet still covers many gender variants. Link to comment
Belle babygirl
umm I ran across a site that says gender is between your ears and sex is between your legs but i guess wat i'm sayin is why doesn't someone just say they're a "tom boy" or a "sally girl" easier than sayin transgender or sissy which i gess some ppl don like to be called a sissy alot of words have more than one meaning and I remember that when a boy in my school was called a sissy he was refered as to being week and unable to do things not sissy in the way of wearin frilly dresses an such or that he acted like a girl but me I'm a girl, a shy one in person but a lil open online. but maybe those are some good Ideas Link to comment

Also, one can be part boy and part girl, yet not be the least bit frilly. Guy at the last place I worked insisted on calling me Sally. I was like, "Jeff or Jessie. Pick one or don't expect me to answer!" Link to comment
Guest Diaperdragon
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 See transgender is a totally different category and they have issues that are different from other folks. Intersex, have issues and needs that are completely different and way beyond the transgender. That's why transgender and intersex are totally different spectrum of the gender and the only difference is that one is a psychological issue and one is a medical issue -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 8.1 iQA/AwUBRi6cFrmjfZKfFu15EQItaACfXej0QsoTfL/f+AohG9BmcgYp4bcAnRGa JjjbToDT+MPsSrePX+zzZLk+ =q68N -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Link to comment

My profile says I'm a boy, but I'd put Genderqueer if it was available, or androgyne, or Mix, or Fluid. But none of that is an option, so I'm stuck with boy. Link to comment
Guest Sissy Lil Lucy
To be honest i would quite apriciate something along the lines of "fluid" as an option, although i couldn't say exactly where to put myslef... soo confussing!!! Link to comment

Guest
Ok, just looked, now we have Gender: Male/Female/Not Telling I am a: Transgendered, boy, girl, sissy. No, not quite making sense. Male/Female is sex, not really gender. For the record. My SEX is Male I am a T-Girl Later, my sex will be MtF, after I go through that whole process, but my GENDER is girl now, will be girl later, and is still different than sex! Link to comment
