Love At First Sight

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I personally don't but I do believe in true love and happy endings.

I believe in lust a first site, love is what happens when you get to know them.  But in this go-go-go world, who has time to get to know someone?  Lust works and most will settle for it.  Perhaps the reason divorces are so popular.

Do tell, what brought you to post this?  Did you meet someone, someone who makes your heart go pitter-patter?

I wish I could meet someone that does that to my heart but no.

I am simply curious and I think I am an old fashioned romantic at heart.

Well, I knew I there was something special about my wife when we first met.  We were both in the Army in Germany.  She was new to the unit.  When I walked into their shop in the Aircraft hanger and saw her, I was smitten.  

That’s when I started to pull out all the stops trying to impress her (it was called Macking in the 90’s).  She wasn’t impressed by my Porsche, or was playing hard to get, but I knew I wanted to spend all of my time with her.   We ended up dating for 18 months or so before we got married.  
 

We are still married 24 years later.

I don’t know if that qualifies as “love at first site” but I have been extremely grateful we crossed paths.

What a sweet story. I think it could be love at first sight for you. I like the sound of your wife she seems like my kind of girl. Playing hard to get, making you work for her attention.
