Alex just shrugged and winked “whatever works sweetheart” he pulled out a pair of flip flops slipping them on the boy “with k but we are here just remember to be a good boy and everything will be just fine “ he stood offering the boy his hand

Cal didn't like flip flops since they always fell off his feet but didn't say anything. He took hold of alexs hand and noticed again how much bigger he was.

One by one the band members filled off the bus.Alex led Cal off and lifted him from the final step placing him on the ground “look baby, they have a play place should we check it out after we eat”

Cal thought about it, he really liked soft play areas. "like the one's with the ball pits and twisty slides? Aren't I too old i dont think they'll let me in"

Alex gave the boys hand a squeeze “well we don’t have to tell anyone your age sweetheart, it can be our secret but you need to eat all of your food like a good boy, understand”

"Okay!" cal chirped excited to go in the play area later. "Big macs are pretty big though i dunno if i'll finish"

Alex gave the boys hand a squeeze “well then maybe you should get something a little smaller baby especially if you want to run around and play after, how about a happy meal”

"Okay da- UH, I mean alex." he said starting to pull alex toward the restaurant because he was excited. One of his flip flops flew onto the road by accident "Uh oh! Gotta get it" he said trying to get on the road without looking

Alex grabbed the boy around the milk fed pulling him onto his hip “no no baby you never ever go into traffic without a grownup, I’ll get it” he carried the boy as he retrieved the lost shoe

"eep!" cal squeaked as he was picked up and carried like a kid. He felt like he was high up since alex was tall, he was scared of heights so he just clung to him. "Sorry alex" he said embarrassed realizing what he did was dangerous

Alex retrieved the lost shoe but simply removed Cals other “I think you’ve lost your walking privileges for the even” he gave the boys kiss “now I think I own some little boy a happy meal”
