"R-really b-but everyone will see you carrying me its embarrassing, I can walk i promise" Cal whined

"Okay kiddo that's fine" He rubbed tim's shoulder. "They look very cute on you! Maybe I can get you a few more pairs"

"eep!" cal squeaked as he was picked up and carried like a kid. He felt like he was high up since alex was tall, he was scared of heights so he just clung to him. "Sorry alex" he said embarrassed realizing what he did was dangerous

Derek just shrugged. "That's your problem buddy, just try to be a good boy and keep them on"

"Okay da- UH, I mean alex." he said starting to pull alex toward the restaurant because he was excited. One of his flip flops flew onto the road by accident "Uh oh! Gotta get it" he said trying to get on the road without looking

"Okay!" cal chirped excited to go in the play area later. "Big macs are pretty big though i dunno if i'll finish"

Derek shook his head "Why would you think that? They're only flip-flops, timmy." he said taking tims socks off and putting the flip flops on

Derek was amazed that tims feet were even smaller than he thought, but he knew the flip flops might fit better. "Try these" he said helping to put them on his feet.

Cal thought about it, he really liked soft play areas. "like the one's with the ball pits and twisty slides? Aren't I too old i dont think they'll let me in"

Cal didn't like flip flops since they always fell off his feet but didn't say anything. He took hold of alexs hand and noticed again how much bigger he was. "Okay da- Uh I mean alex"

"let's just see how thing go okay" Derek said and smiled, unpersuaded. He took off Tims shoes. "Flip flops or velcro?" he asked holding his feet

Cal blushed. "I guess. But we're just pretending, right, you're not actually my daddy so that's ok" he reasoned, mostly to himself.

"Grown-ups don't get spankings and they don't need special shoes for looking more grown-up. No pretending involved. You might be older in age but that doesn't matter you're still very little inside and out." Derek said rocking tim

" Hold your hands. But what if people see," he said swinging his legs nervously.

He relented once Tim promised to be good. "That's what I want to hear." Derek said pulling tim into a hug and standing up so tim was being carried. "I know you think you're a grown up kiddo but you're actually really little."
