darkdream
For decades I've have severe IBS and GERD(that is really well controlled by avoiding certain foods, a wedge pillow at night and ACV). My GERD/reflux luckily is caused by LOW stomach acid, NOT too much. However the IBS is really terrible, affected by anxiety/stress, eating the wrong food(currently on a LOW FODMAP DIET) and sometimes for no reason. In march 2019 I tested positive for SIBO(small intestine bacterial overgrowth) through specialists and waiting to hear from them for the treatment plan. Anyone from experience know if the SIBO once treated will get rid of the IBS? I can never eat out anymore without severe flare ups the next day or 2. And can't eat certain food I love anymore either without flare ups. I got major depression, severe anxiety and other issues from the SIBO. So once cured/controlled I should feel much better in myself, although heard it's not an easy battle... Link to comment
