Vincent slowly cards his hand through Duncan’s hair “what should we do today little one, dinner is in but we have a while, he drops a kiss on Duncan’s head

I shrug.  "I don' kno"  I close my eyes and enjoy Vincen'ts hands combing through my hair.  Trying to think I don't really know what to do if I'm not working, or going to class.

Vincent continues to rub the boys hair “well honey I could put on a video for you if I think I have some toys from my niece and nephew hanging around if you want to play toys”

"Toys from your nice and nephew?  Aren't I too old for those sorts of things?  And what kind of video?"

Vincent smiles “something happy, I have almost every Disney movie, what would you like to watch”

I frown.  "I was hoping for something more interesting, like a crime drama, or a documentary."

Vincent shrugged up to you, the cable guys haven’t done yet so all I have is my DVD collection, you are welcome to look but most stuff is for your cousins so...”

I nod "Okay I'll take a look."  after looking through the movies I see they're all kids movies, and frown.    "I guess I might as well take a look at the toys... though I assume I'll be just as disappointed, won't I?"

Vincent shrugs “well buddy there are dolls and stuffed animals and action figures and legos”

I frown. "Nothing interesting then...  Anything to read?"

Vincent looked offended “what’s your issue with legos little man, legos are the best”

I sigh.  "Legos are alright I guess... it's just... they're probably little kid legos, aren't they?"

Vincent smiles acting buddy these are pretty cool I got  a millennium volcano set, it would take you weeks to finish”

"Oh?"  I ask, interested.  "A millennium falcon does sound kinda cool...  I bet it would only take me three days though... since I'm not going to be doing anything else it seems."  I grin.

Vincent smiles “well we’ll see about that won’t we sweetheart, you can get to work in the dining room the box should be in there already. That’s where I left it

I grin, standing up and walking quickly to the living room, almost wanting to run, but resisting the urge.

Vincent smiles and follows the boy “now be careful sweetheart and don’t loose any pieces and if I catch you with anything in your mouth then you will be a sorry little boy understand love”

I freeze, and turn around to look at Vincent.  "If you catch me with anything in my mouth?  Do you think I'm a toddler or something?"

Vincent shrugs leaving the room “just making sure we are on the same page,your safety is my top priority sweetheart”

I roll my eyes, "Why not make me wear a helmet, and strap pillows to my chest while you're at it."  I call after him.

“That could be arranged kiddo, dont tempt me!” Vincent works on dinner

I sigh and roll my eyes again, and then open the box, pouring out the bags of pieces, and finding the instructions.  I quickly start building the ship, losing myself in the task.

Vincent watch’s his boy from the door way making note to take the project with them tomorrow for work. He goes bsck and forth to the kitchen eventually he calls out Duncan sweetheart dinner is done”

I almost don't hear Vincent as he calls me for dinner, I blink, not quite realizing how deeply engrossed I had gotten.  "Coming!"  I call back, and walk into the kitchen.

Vincent has the table set “I made chicken and rice sweetheart, I think you’ll like it. Once we finish you can keep playing until bedtime. What do you want to drink sweetheart”
