My Father's Golden Boy (Private)

"Just some water please."  I say, taking my seat at the table, and waiting for Vincent before I start eating.

Vincent turned his back to Duncan and quickly dropped a few undetectable drops of liquid lasix into Duncan’s water cup filling the rest with. Water “here you go bud” he sad down and started on his own lunch”

"Thank you Daddy."  I say as I take the water and take a sip.  I start eating when he does, dipping the sandwich into the soup.

Vincent makes pleasant small talk until they are done then stands taking both plates “ok bud you go take your nap, do you want a tuck in”

I talk pleasantly, but a bit curtly with Vincent as we eat.  When he asks if I want him to tuck me in, I look down, feeling conflicted.  I do, but I don't want to tell him that I do.  It isn't something that I've had in quite a long time...  "I... um..."

Vincent recognizes the conflict and says “never mind sweetheart I’m going to tuck you in, it wil make me feel better do march little man”

I frown, not liking the choice being made into  a decision made for me.  At the same time however, a warm feeling starts to spread through my chest.  "...okay Daddy."  I say with a bit of reluctance, as I make my way to my room.

Vincent smiles and follows Duncan up the stairs. He turns down the covers “now snuggle down honey” he pulls the covers up and smoothes them over his boy. Then bends down to kiss DuncNs forehead “you rest sweetheart and ill come get you later

I climb into bed, and snuggle down as Vincent directs me.  The warm feeling in my chest expands as H covers me up, and then grows again as he kisses me.  " 'kay"  I murmur sleepily as he leaves.  I close my eyes, and fall asleep after a few minutes.

While Duncan is sleeping Vincent makes a few calls and manages to go threw Duncan’s bags selection g clothing he deemed unacceptable and locking them in the basement

I sleep peacefully, eventually stirring, blinking and yawning, rolling over instead of getting up.

Vincent looks in the room wandering if the lasix has done it’s job, “Dunky  uddy do you wa t to get up now honey”

I grumble a bit, making a moan to indicate that I don't want to.

Vincent checks his watch “another 30 minutes then sweetheart. He goes to start dinner

I fall asleep again, and wake up, groaning a bit as I do, and feeling groggy from napping for too long.

Vincent double checks that he has gone through all of Duncan’s cloths then brings the remaining items up to the boys bedroom p. He enters without knocking and finds the boy awake “hey sweetheart how was your nap

I grumble and moan unintelligibly for a bit, then roll over to look at Vincent.

Vincent smiles sitting on the edge of the bed and rubbing the boys back “hey sweetheart how did you sleep little one”

I grumble a bit, then mumble "Sleepy."  grumpily.

“Honey please sit up, if you don’t get up you will never sleep at bedtime love so it’s tome to get up”

I sit up in bed, but pout, crossing my arms in front of my chest.

Vincent rubs the boys back “hey sweetheart why so grumpy, he folds the boy into a hug, how did you sleep”

[elfowl]

I hug back reluctantly.  "Slept okay I guess... Don' wanna be awake."

Vincent pulls the boy onto his lap and begins rocking “it’s okay sweetheart daddy is here and we can rock for a bit if that would help my special boy wake from his nappy”

I curl into Vincent's chest as he rocks me.  Letting him slowly get me more awake.
