while they didn't really understand that Patty meant, Ezrine stared at the pretty dress for a minute and then pointed at it.  She tried to say something, but since she only spoke her language, it would be impossible for Patty to know what she said in words.  Yet, she made grabby hands at the dress.

Sana understood pants, but she had a different idea of what pants was supposed to mean.  She looked up at the woman with wide eyes and a thankful glitter in her eyes.  Was she offering her panties instead of a diaper?

Sana saw her holding up a dress and a pair of pants as Americans thought of pants, and she smiled.  She pointed at the pants almost automatically without having to understand that the woman was asking the words.

She looked at the woman with a smile from ear to ear.  She hoped that she was going to take off her diaper soon and start trusting her to use the bathroom like the elven year old she was.

[robehouse]

Patty watched as Ezrine wanted the dress and Sana the pants. Patty nodded, then looked for something in what she thought would fit them. She finally put a dress, pants and shirt in the cart. She saw a display of panties. She didn't know it either girl had been potty trained, but she was going to assume that at least Sana was.

She picked out a package of panties with butterflies on them, again guessing on the size and another smaller sized package with teddy bears, slipping them in the cart. Finally she headed to the checkouts to pay.

Once out of line, she headed to the bathrooms. She parked the cart and got Sana and Ezrine out, along with the shopping bags. She took them into the bathroom and to the handicapped stall to get get them cleaned up and dressed. She decided to start with Ezrine. She tugged off her shirt and took off her diaper, then started cleaning her with baby wipes.

Ezrine let herself be led into the stall and looked up innocently at Patty as the woman started to undress her. She wasn’t embarrassed at all, but just the same her little fists went up under her chin and her arms covered her chest only because she felt even more vulnerable when she was naked and she still didn’t really understand who this woman was supposed to be to her. The man just before told her that a mommy was coming for her, but she still didn’t understand. This wasn’t HER mommy. 

Sana watched the woman clean up Ezrine and she started to understand that this woman was going to take care of them for a while. She realized that Ezrine was being cleaned up and so Sana pulled her own shirt off revealing a soaked diaper, and she pulled at it until it fell to the floor with a heavy water-logged splat. 

Sana looked up at Patty and smiled. She stood there waiting her turn even if she was old enough to clean herself. 

Sana pointed at the bag of clothes wanting to be dressed as soon as possible.

Patty could see Sana undressing as she cleaned Ezrine up. Patty cleaned Ezrine from the waist to her thighs and held the package of wipes out to Sana. She made a motion of washing, then opened the bags.

She took out the dress and held it over Ezrine's head. When Ezrine raised her arms up Patty slipped the dress on her. She took out the package of diapers and took one out, then did the same to the smaller package of panties. She held one of each out to Ezrine, hoping that the young girl would pick one.

Patty looked over to see how Sana was doing.

Ezrine looked up at the woman who had just finished wiping her clean, and was now holding a dress over her.  She had been conditioned to just let the people thrust her arms into sleeves and force her head into the head hole, and had somewhat forgotten what it looked like when someone acting like a real parent tried to dress her, so she hesitated at first, not sure what she was supposed to do.

When it was apparent that Patty was going to hold the dress up there until she raised her arms, she did so, and she smiled.  That was so much better than the way they had been dressing her for last couple of months, and now, not only was she dressing her like a human rather than a chimpanzee, but she was now holding out both a diaper and a pair of panties.  

Ezrine was pretty sure you didn't wear them both together, and the lady was holding them both at her, and she knew that the lady was dressing her, so what else could she be doing other than offering her a choice?

Ezrine raised her hand just high enough to shyly point out the panties.  And then she looked over at the toilet they were in.  She looked back at the nice mommy figure, and she wanted to ask her.  "Do I get to use that, too?" but she didn't have the English words for it.  All she could do was look at it longingly, hoping that she was not going to be tricked into pottying her pants all the time again, and then put back in diapers.

 

Sana smiled and nodded at the nice mommy like woman.  She still didn't really know that she had been adopted as a real live child to a mommy, but she did appreciate the chance to actually clean herself up like an eleven year old.

She started to wipe off her own legs and her privates and finally her bottom as she saw the nice woman now dressing Ezrine.  She was treating Ezrine like a little girl, but then Ezrine was one, and she was at least letting her pick out panties, and rather than shoving her into the dress, she was nicely helping her into it.

Sana smiled up at Patty and waited for her to give her some clothes to change into.  Hopefully, she would just skip asking her about the diaper since Ezrine pointed out the panties for herself.  She was older.  She had to know that if Ezrine considered herself potty trained, then she had to know that Sana was too?

 

[robehouse]

Patty saw Ezrine look at the toilet and then at her. She thought this meant that Ezrine needed to use the toilet. Patty set the diaper down then held the panties for Ezrine to step into. She pulled the panties up most of the way before taking her over to the toilet. She lifted  Ezrine up and sat her on the toilet.

Patty made sure that Ezrine was not going to slip off the toilet, then went to the bag. She took out a pair of panties and the pants and tee shirt. She held the panties out to Sana.

Ezrine sat on the potty like Patty seemed to want.  Even if she didn't exactly have to go at the moment, she was glad that the new mommy wanted her to try to use the toilet instead of her pants.  She even put on some panties on her, and had them ready for her to pull up.

The girl sat there, trying to pee for her new mommy.  She didn't want to disappoint her, but she was having a hard time going with so many people in the little space there, seemingly watching her.

 

Sana smiled when Patty held out some panties at her, and she reached out and put her hands on them, but waited politely for Patty to let go before taking them and starting ot put them on.  Even if Patty wasn't really her mommy, she was being really nice, so Sana would do what she could for now to please the would be mother.  She did miss her own mom though, and wondered if she would ever see her mom, her brothers and sisters or her father ever again.

[robehouse]

Patty let go of the panties when Sana took them. She held the tee shirt and pants ready for her. Patty looked over at Ezrine and smiled. She looked at her watch and then back at Ezrine.

Since Patty had never taken care of children she wasn't sure how long Ezrine would need to pee. She decided to give her a few more minutes. Patty handed Sana the pants and shirt when she was ready.

Sana smiled and quietly took the pants first, slipping them on, and then the t-shirt.  She was so happy to be in clean clothes that really felt decent on her, and she was glad to be rid of that dirty diaper from earlier.

She hugged Patty suddenly when she was dressed wanting to thank her, but only knowing how to show her appreciation with physical contact since her English was not that good.

 

Ezrine was a good girl, or what she thought was good, and stayed on the toilet and continue to try for as long as Patty wanted her to stay there.  She would only stand up when Patty came to get her.

[robehouse]

Patty smiled when Sana hugged her. She looked Sana over making sure everything was good. She smiled again and put the girls wet shirts in a shopping bag to take home.

Patty checked her watch again, then decided that for whatever reason, Ezrine wasn't going to pee. She thought it might have to do with not being used to her or something. Patty came over and helped Ezrine off the toilet. She reached down and tugged Ezrine's panties up and straightened her dress over them.

Patty turned Ezrine around checking her, then gave her a thumbs up. She gave Sana a thumbs up as well. Patty picked up the shopping bags and opened the stall door, leading Sana and Ezrine out into the bathroom. She handed them the shopping bags and washed her hands.

Both girls smiled up at her and let her wash their hands.  Of course Sana knew how to wash her own hands, but with the way those people treated her in the last couple of months, she was very grateful to have the worse this mommy to be do, be wash her hands for her. 

Ezrine put her thumbs back out at mommy and smiled. This woman was acting like her mommy and she had no one else at the moment, so she decided that she could be her mommy until she could find a way to get back to her real mother. 

[robehouse]

Patty finished washing her hands, then led the girls out of the bathroom. She left the shopping cart by the bathroom and led Sana and Ezrine out to the car. She opened the back door but stopped the girls from getting in. Patty removed the car seat and put it in the back, then let both girls get in.

She fastened their seatbelts for them and patted their laps. She put the shopping bags in the car then got in. She got out her phone to let Frank know they were on their way home, then pulled out of the parking lot.

When the lady took the car seat out of the car, Ezrine smiled really wide!  She was no longer being called a baby!  She was sitting all by herself just like a big girl, and this woman seemed to understand her feelings!  She couldn't stop smiling at all.

Sana smiled when the nice mommy patted her lap to show her that she was safe.

On the way home, Sana started to hum a song from home.

Ezrine just looked at the passing buildings and other things on the way.  Everything in America was so big and so different from where she was from, actually just north of India proper in Napal.

[robehouse]

Patty smiled as she heard Sana hum even though she didn't recognize the song. Both girls seemed happier than when she had first met them a couple of hours ago.

When Patty arrived home Frank's car was in the drive. She parked the car and let Ezrine and Sana out of the car. She took their hands and led them up to the house.

"Home." Patty said.

As they got to the door, Frank opened it and stepped aside to let Patty bring Sana and Ezrine.

"Frank, I would like you to meet Sana and Ezrine, our daughters." Patty said.

Patty looked down at Sana and Ezrine.

"Girls, this is my husband, Frank." Patty said.

"Hello girls." Frank said, standing about three feet from them.

 

 

[Ishigreensa]

When the girls came to the door, and they looked up to see Frank, they shivered a little and even took a step back not sure what to think of him.  Ezrine looked up at Patty and then turned around and put her hands up at the woman wanting to be held and comforted.  She had not had many good experiences when it came to foreign men, nor any men at all lately.

Sana saw the smile on Patty's face, and she saw that Frank didn't look mean or aggressive, so she took a tentative, hesitant step towards him.  She looked up at him.  He said something to them.  Yes, she did know part of it.  He said Hello.  He said something that sounded like garlz, but he didn't pronounce it the way she learned it.  Maybe he meant girls, though.  She was a girl. 

"Hey low," she said back to him slowly trying to say it right.  

She wanted to say more, but she didn't know how or what to say.  If she could say more, she would have asked Patty why they were there, and where her mommy and daddy were, and what she wanted from her and Ezrine.  She wanted to know they were brought to this Foreign home.  She wanted to know if they were going to be punished for what happened earlier when Patty found out that both girls were wet and wearing wet diapers.  

She looked down at her feet.

[robehouse]

Patty picked up Ezrine and kissed her cheek. Frank saw the girls were scared of him. He didn't blame them since he was a big man. He walked over to the couch and picked up two stuffed animals, a panda and a tiger  He came back to the girls and held the animals out to the girls.

"Here you are girls. These are for you." Frank said.

Patty moved so she was closer to Sana and rubbed her back, holding Ezrine in her arms.

"Go on Ezrine and Sana it's okay." Patty said.

 

[Ishigreensa]

Ezrine reached out towards the tiger.  She made a growling RRR sound as she tried to get at it from the safety of Patty's arms.  It was so pretty, and it looked so strong and yet so soft.

Sana looked up at him with a frown for a minute or two.  She wasn't sure if she was meant to be holding the thing, or if it was a trick, and he was just showing them what he had, like something she would never get.  She waited a little longer, until he would finally hand Ezrine the tiger, and then she knew it was safe to reach out for the panda.

Tears in her eyes, she hugged the panda and then ran into Frank's arms.

She shook and cried into into him.

He was a lot bigger than her daddy was, but at the same time, he seemed to remind her of her daddy just the same, and she couldn't  help but want to feel the strong arms of someone that would be so nice as to give her a simple toy, as though he expected her to be a child again.  She didn't remember the last time she was given the freedom to be a child.  First, Patty didn't hit her for peeing her pants, nor did she even yell, but instead, she put her in regular clothes without even a diaper.  And now, this man was offering her a present.

She couldn't help crying.

[robehouse]

Frank smiled and growled back at Ezrine, handing her the tiger. He knelt down and held the panda out to Sana. When she gave him a hug he hugged her back. He stood up, picking Sana up. He rubbed the panda against her cheek and looked at Patty.

"Let's show the girls their new room." Frank said.

Frank walked down the hall to the last bedroom. It's opened the door and carried Sana inside, with Patty and Ezrine following. The room had two twin beds made up with pink bedding. The walls were light pink and had pictures of Disney princesses on them. Frank set Sana down on the floor.

"This is your and Ezrine's room." Frank said.

Patty set Ezrine down as well.

 

[Ishigreensa]

Sana looked up at him with bright eyes, but she was starting to shake as though she were scared for her life when he put her down.  A room, not exactly like this, but close, was used in a very bad way.  She didn't like it.

She tried to run past him when he put her down, not hearing him say that 'this is your room....  She wouldn't have understood all those words anyway.  She just had to get out of that room.  Frank was in there, and then there was that room.  She didn't like it!

 

Ezrine saw Sana run out of the room shaking.  She saw the beds, and then she saw Frank in there.  She started to shake in Patty's arms just before she put her down, and as soon as her feet were near the floor, they started to flail and kick as she was trying to run before she was even on the floor.  

 

The bedroom by itself was not what was scary.  It was that a man was in there with them, and they didn't know what to expect from him.  They had learned to fear men in the last two months, and while Frank seemed okay out in the entrance, when they were taken to the room, they suddenly felt unsafe.  

Sana ran around until she found a corner behind a couch to hide in that she didn't think it would be easy for either adult to reach her.

Ezrine ran around until she found a chair that was sitting rather low to the ground, and she crawled under it.

[robehouse]

Frank and Patty both watched in shock as first Sana then Ezrine ran from the room, obviously afraid. Frank liked at Patty.

"What was that all about?" Frank asked.

"I don't know. I thought they would love the bedroom, but something scared them. Let's go find them." Patty said.

Frank and Patty went out to the living room. They looked around for the girls but didn't see them at first. Finally Patty saw a bit of Sana's pants behind the couch. Then she saw Ezrine. Patty sat down in the floor and Frank followed her lead.

"Sana, Ezrine, it's okay. We aren't going to hurt you. Come on out." Patty said in a soft voice.

 

[Ishigreensa]

Sana looked from between a crack made by the sofa meeting the wall at them for a minute.  She saw them sit down on the floor.  They called their names, but though Sana didn't understand the other words, she started to get the sense that they weren't going to chase them.  They seemed to be waiting.  She waited a little more wondering what was going on.  If it had been anyone else, they wouldn't just sit there and wait.  They would look until they found them, and then they would be moving the sofa to try to get at her, but these people were just waiting patiently.  There was certainly something different about these people from the ones that kid napped her a couple of months ago, and from the people she had been traded to again and again.  They were patient.

Ezrine looked out from under her chair, lying as flat as she could hoping they didn't see her.  

They were very clever though.  They knew where she was, but instead of coming towards the chair, they just sat down facing her direction.  They said something that she didn't understand besides her name and Sana's name.  

Ezrine started to get a little tired of hiding, and she knew that eventually, the big people would win anyway.  They weren't trying to get at them.  They didn't look mad.  Maybe if she came out right now, they wouldn't get mad.

She started to crawl out from under the chair.

Sana wanted to stop her, but she couldn't without giving away her position.  She still didn't know that they knew where she was.  But now, they could definitely see Ezrine.  Sana watched what would happen next.  She did feel that these people were different in some way, but she was still too scared to completely trust them.  They took her and Ezrine into the most dangerous part of the house first thing, so she was not sure what to think of them.

Ezrine finally got out from under the chair, and she got up and walked slowly but ready to run again if she didn't like a movement.  She approached the woman again, her mouth open so that drool started to come out of her mouth and down her chin and to her shirt as though she was a toddler.  Her whole body shook.  Finally, she got within reach of the woman, and she though a moment, and then pounced at her lap hugging her.

Sana continued to watch to see what would happen to Ezrine.

[robehouse]

Patty and Frank sat patiently watching the girls. It was hard not getting them, but they wanted the girls to trust them. The saw Ezrine slowly crawl out from under her chair, and stand up. They stayed still as Ezrine made her way to Patty. Patty caught describe as she pounced on her and hugged her back.

"Good girl." Patty whispered into Ezrine's ear.

Patty held Ezrine in her arms like a toddler. She rocked her gently.

Frank looked at Ezrine, staying in his spot. He kept from looking at the couch so maybe Sana would come out as well. 

 

[Ishigreensa]

Ezrine looked over at Frank pointing.  She said 'monster' in her own language, so Frank and Patty probably didn't understand what she said.  But as Ezrine watched this monster curiously.  He didn't seem to move or to do anything threatening.  He seemed to just sit there patiently, looking at her from time to time, but his expression was not one that made her nervous.

Eventually, Ezrine started to wiggle in Patty's arms to be put down.  She wanted to get a closer look at this monster on her own terms.

She crawled away from Patty, and then stood up, and walked to where she thought she was just out of his reach, and she looked up at him with a frown, a forefinger going up to her nose and picking at it as she stared up him thoughtfully.  She was ready to race back to the chair she crawled out from if he made a sudden move or reached for her.

 

Sana watched for a bit as she saw Ezrine getting bold enough to get just close enough to get a better look at this man.  Sana was starting to feel like they were not going to hurt Ezrine, and she started to feel that it would be safe to come out, too.  She stood up, still in back of the sofa so they would have to work to get at her, and she watched them, but now knew they could see her.

She waited there for a bit while Ezrine got a little bolder.

 

Ezrine took a step inside where she thought he could reach her, and then she darted away a few steps testing to see if he was going to try to chase her.  If he did, she would run and try to slid on her stomach back under the chair she had come from....

[robehouse]

Patty and Frank watched as Ezrine crawled away from Patty and then started walking over to him. He tried to stay as still as he could to not scare her. It was hard not to crack a smile when she picked her nose and furrowed her eyebrows.

Patty saw Sana stand up and watch Ezrine. She didn't acknowledge that she saw her. She wanted Sana to come out in her own.

Frank watched as Ezrine got bolder and stepped closer to him, then dart back. He stayed still, trying to move as little as possible.

[Ishigreensa]

Ezrine walked up slowly towards him a third time, but this time, she didn't dart away.  She looked up at him, her finger still in her nose, and her mouth open, drooling all over her shirt.  She watched him cautiously, in particular, watching his hands.  Eventually, she started to sit in his lap, but if he moved his hands to hold her, she tried to squirm and get out of his lap again.

She looked up at him, checking it was safe.

Sana watched.  He wasn't doing anything unsafe.  It was like he was letting her test things out without reacting.  She started to feel a little more at ease, and she started to come out from behind the sofa, climbing over the back of it, and sat in the cushion for a minute, gaging what would happen next.
