"Okay babygirl!" Jessica smiled. "Want to help mommy bake some sweet things? I was thinking chocolate chip cookies." 

Mikey looked over amazed. "Big and dark kitty!" He said.

Auroras face lit up loving chocolate Chip cookies.” Ookie ookie.” She said 

“ that’s right honey.” He said holding Mikey close so he could see the panther

Jess sniled and carried Aurora to the kitchen. "Okay, so mommy's going to put all the ingredients into the bowl and then you will stir it okay?" She said as she started to pull out the baking ingredients.

"They different colors daddy." Mikey said noticing that the tigers were colored differently than the panthers. "Why?"

Aurora nodded as she nursed her paci and watched her mommy take out all the ingredients 

“ well honey I’m not sure totally but it might be due to where they’re from. But theirs plenty of different colors of kitties.”

Jessica combined all ingredients into a bowl and then handed the wooden spoon to Aurora. "You do it this way." She said as she demonstrated. "Try it sweetie."

Mikey nodded. "Otay daddy." He agreed. "Can we see birdies next?"

Aurora watched and took the spoon trying to do it the way her mommy showed her

” sure thing bud.” Ben said as she placed him in the stroller and made his way to the birds

Jessica smiled. "Just like that baby! Good job!" She said as she clapped.

Mikey looked around patiently as he took in all the different people at the zoo.

Aurora smiled and continued to stir as she fought the urge to fall asleep

 

they made it to the bird exhibit and Ben walked in

Jess took the bowl and put it on the cookie sheet. "How about mommy puts you down for a nap while these bake? When you wake up, they will be ready to eat." She said as she picked Aurora up and into her arms.

Mikey looked around at the different bird exhibits.

Aurora nodded as she held on to her momy as she was lifted her head resting on her chest. As she sucked her paci and enjoyed the warmth coming from her mommy she was soon fast asleep

ben smiled and pointed out different birds for Mikey to see

"That's my girl." Jessica praised as she rubbed Aurora's back. She laid Aurora on the couch, surrounded by pillows, before popping the cookies in the oven.

Mikey followed his daddy's finger. "The birds is pretty!" He said.

Aurora was sound asleep by the time she was put down

ben smiled “ they sure are.” He saisnmlvinf down a bit by the peacocks.” Look at those.” He said

Jessica sat on the adjacent couch, turning the TV on softly.

"Daddy, those birdies are coworflul." Mikey said. "I like dem."

Ben nodded.” Their called Peacocks they’re all unique and have different patterns

"All diffwent?" Mikey said. "That cool daddy! We have one?"

“ no honey we can’t get one that would be taking it out of its habitat and away from its friends.” She said

"Oh okay daddy." Mikey said. "No want birdie to be sad."

Jessica sniffed the air and could smell the cookies finishing up.

“ it’s ok buddy look how happy they are.” He said seeing another peacock join the first 

aurora was still sound asleep her diaper receiving a heavy soaking as she did so

"It like when when mommy comes around daddy. She make you really happy!" Mikey said. "That the mommy birdie." Mikey pointed at the egg that was near the other peacock.

Jessica pulled out the cookies and left them of a rack to cool.

“ that’s right buddy your so smart.” Ben said lifting Mikey into the air above his head

Mikey giggled as he flew. "Higher daddy! Higher!" He said.

Ben lifted him a bit higher and they made their way to the next bird in the exhibit

Mikey looked at the bird. "What this one called daddy?" He asked.

Jessica got the cookies cooled and waited for Aurora to wake from her nap.

“ these are eagles buddy.” He said pointing at the birds as they flew about

 

aurora started to stir when she caught a whiff of the yummy cookies

Mikey looked around wide eyed. "They cool!" He said. "And fly high."

Jessica smiled as she saw Aurora slowly waking up.
