Student court.

She had received a email last week stating that she had been summoned due to her performance in classes and more importantly her grades.

She wasn't failing yet but her grades were below average which was a cause for concern amongst the student body and school.

The school was odd.  Everything was odd for Ashley though giving her background but she had managed college.  Just about. College had been hard and people were more for themselves rather then others yet here it was different.

Everyone seemed so together.  All the students wanted to do well for themselves and each other.  Mostly so they could be number one in the state and hopefully in the USA because that meant better options later on in life and in their careers.

This was Ashley's second semester at law school.  She had barley passed her first semester and the second wasn't looking good either.

She had a hard time making friends but the people in halls were friendly but she felt scared around them and her classmates.  She would flinch a little whenever someone did something that reminded her of Pastor Nick.  She knew it was silly and she knew that she needed to get over herself but she couldn't.

Ashley's long blonde hair was tied up in a pony-tail.  Her top was white and had long sleeves, her pants were black, her shoes were flats that she had gotten cheaply.  Her clothing was cheap and nothing really stood out about her all that much besides her bright blue eyes and hair that she kept long.  She dressed conservatively and didn't wear make-up.

Ashley stood at the front of the court-room and took a deep nervous breath knowing that she needed to explain herself first before her 'punishment' or 'sentence' was giving.

"I...I.."

Ashley coughed a little.

"I..."

Ashley took in a deep breath again.

She wasn't good at standing up for herself or talking to other people but she was bright and could write good reports.

"The reason for my lack of performance in classes is because," paused Ashley feeling embarrassed as she used her 'fake city' accent that didn't sound quite right, "because I'm having issues with paying for bills," continued Ash, "my scholarship only covers the basics and my part time job takes a lot of my time away," sighed Ashley a little, "but I need the money to pay for bills but that doesn't give me enough time for studying...."

Ashley looks down at the floor unable to continue looking at the other students in front of her, "I'm sorry for letting my grades slip!" added Ashley feeling panic only to look away again feeling silly for her small outburst.  She was anxiously toying with her fingers and often biting her nails.  Her mind all over the place.  She felt trapped and wanted to run.  Tears sparkling brightly in her eyes already.  She was always very sensitive.

Ashley took another breath, "I realise that I need to try harder and will do better on the next exam I promise." added Ashley.  The problem being she barley had much time to spare. Her eyelids were darker then they should be and her body language was sluggish.  She was tired.  She would only get four hours of sleep a night because of her job and school along with her anxieties.  She even started to have accidents during the night which had resulted in extra cleaning bills for her and she had yet to get herself registered for a local clinic or dentist. There was a lot she still needed to do.

Ashley rubbed her nose a little to get rid of the little bit of snot that had started to form because she was trying to hold herself back so much emotionally.

"So you are incapable of managing all of your adult commitments is that really the defence you choose to use?" Erin said looking down over the proceedings from the judges seat as the most senior class man this was her right after all one of the things the law school was famous for was it's infamous student court it was used for any disputes that were not disciplinary in nature and really helped to sharpen the next generation of lawyers.

The city had two law schools fighting for the top reputation and butted heads continuously with there rivals in competition however while this also help heighten the games even further this also meant people seen as a weakness were bought before the court.

The blonde smirked as she looked down at the below average student, such antics were meant to try and encourage the other slackers to try and step up their studies using the unfortunate Ashley as an example.

Ashley stared up at Erin with bright blue tearful eyes.

She wasn't quite sure what to say or how to respond at all.

It felt humiliating but it wasn't the most humiliating thing that's ever happened to her.

Ashley knew that she was being made as an example to others who slacked off but she wasn't a slacker!  She wanted to say something and protest against Erin but no words came out of her mouth besides stutters that didn't make any sense.

Ashley lowered her head in shame.

What was the point, really? She wouldn't be able to fight against Erin.

"Yes." said Ashley keeping her head lowered and eyes on the carpet floor beneath her feet.  She just wanted this over and done with.  She just hoped the punishment wasn't anything terrible she hadn't been hit for quite sometime but she still remembered what it was like to get hit.  Ashley flinched a little as she looked at the smirking blonde timidly.

"Well the punishment should fit the crime" Erin said as she gestured to a young woman stood next to her, she too had a smile across her face although this could be considered more sympathetic than predatory like Erin's.

"This is Sasha, she is an exemplary student at the top of the childcare classes on our affiliate college." Erin said with a smirk

"Ashley, if you are incapable of taking care of yourself like a child then maybe you should have a Nanny" she said gauging the young woman's reaction.

Ashley stared up at Erin for a moment with a bewildered look.

Her gaze turning towards Sasha.

Nanny?

Ashley looked at Erin again with a blank expression.

Did Erin just say that?

Ashley felt a chill run down her spine.

"I..I..I don't need a nanny!" stammered Ashley a bright red blush appearing across her cheeks, "I..uh..I..."

Ashley was at a loss for words.

She didn't know what to say or what to do! She didn't like the thought of having a Nanny! It reminded her a lot of Pastor Nick and the times he came over to babysit her! She didn't want a Nanny! She felt more stressed then ever before! She could feel her heart racing painfully in her chest.

A slight sob breaks through her emotional hold but she's able to hold herself together not to cry in front of the court and the other students that were there.   What now? She couldn't talk otherwise she would surely cry.  She felt so afraid.

"Oh Erin stop teasing the little one" A soft voice said with a southern accent, it wasn't as heavy as Ashley's supressed one but still was familiar enough to not have been to far from where Ashley grew up.

Her white heels clicked along the floor as yellow summer dress shimmered against the sunlight invading the school building she pulled Ashley into a patronising hug.

Erin looked on and asked "Do you wish to refuse the authority and tradition of student court?" she asked while not official ignoring the court was a social taboo that never ended well.

Ashley head shot up as she looked towards the soft southern voice she heard.

Ashley stared at the woman in shock and felt nervous.  That accent.  It was close to her own but not close enough.  Did she know this person?

She hoped not.

Ashley froze solid at the hug. Her heart beat racing. No one's hugged her in a long while and the last time she had been hugged was by Pastor Nick.

Ashley started to sweat pretty badly. Her hands were clammy as she placed them on the other woman's arms in an attempt to get out of the hug but she was weak and didn't push back much at all.

Ashley glanced at Erin, "No I don't refuse the authority and tradition of the student court." replied Ashley not wanting to be a social outcast.

She had experience life as a social outcast most her life and didn't want to go through it again.

The very thought caused Ashley to whimper a little.  She knew the hug was patronising. Pastor Nick would hug her faking care and would talk down to her all the time.

This felt no different. She couldn't run then and she couldn't run now.

So.

She simply lowered her head and looked at the floor refusing to look at anyone at all. Her confidence was abysmal.

"Good, we will keep track of your performance and if you can pull your grades up we will see if you still need the care" Erin said with a smile aimed at Sasha, Erin went way back with the brunette and a lot of this was more for her unusual tastes than Ashley's development.

"Come along sweetheart we don't want to keep all the grown ups busy do we" Sasha said as if speaking to a young child taking her hand and leading her out of the room, her role was made clear she could do what she liked but she to try and get the girl's grades up.

"Where are you staying little one?" Sasha asked once her and Ash were alone.

Ashley kept quiet as she watched Erin and Sasha talk a little.

She felt unsure what to do at all as she stood there.

Ashley looked up with her bright eyes and blushed some more.

She felt weird holding another person's hand especially a girl's hand and wasn't quite sure about her own feelings and sexuality but she kept quiet about that.  It was wrong or at least that's what Pastor Nick had told her.

Ashley didn't let go of Sasha's hand, "Mhm," said Ashley, "hall E, room 34." replied Ashley quietly.

Ashley looked away from Sasha and back down at the floor.  She didn't know anything about Sasha expect that the girl was now in charge of her.

Sasha walked forward keeping a deliberate pace so as not to drag Ashley along.

"I know this is confusing for you sweetheart and you probably want to talk, I will explain everything while we pack up the things in your room" she said calmly.

She looked Ashley up and down and it looked like Erin got her a real cutie to play with and hopefully Sasha could help her at the same time

Ashley walked quite slow.

She was always slow really when it came to getting about but that was due to her head always being caught in the clouds.

It wasn't as if she was even daydream. She simply just wasn't 'there' at times and that was mostly because she didn't focus at all on what was going on around her.  Ash was lost in thought.

"Huh?"

Ash had barley caught onto what Sasha had said, "O-oh." stammered Ashley.

Her room was neat and tidy besides a few clothes on the floor and worse of all a basket filled with wet sheets that she hadn't been able to wash yet.  Ashley sighed. What was the point really? Her room smelt like piss anyway.

Ashley simply shrug her shoulders.

Reaching her room Ashley pulled out a key from her pocket and suddenly felt a lot more scared and anxious, "D-do you have to help me pack up?" asked Ashley nervously.  She hadn't cared before but now she did! She didn't want Sasha in her room at all! She didn't want Sasha to come into her room and be able to smell the stale piss or see her wash basket!  Her soft white bunny that she had since she was a baby was on top of her bed.

Ashley held the key in her hand nervously and accidentally dropped it because of how nervous and fidgety she was.

"I...uh..you don't have to come into my room if you don't want to," stammered Ash, "I...uh..."

Ashley looked away from Sasha, "I didn't get your name miss?"

Ash's cheeks turned red again.

Sasha had spent her time analysing the young law student and she was sure if Ashley was able to think clearly she would probably be assessing her right back, that was what Sasha loved about doing this. She wasn't a Nanny or someone specialising in childcare she had a fetish for total and complete power control but which manifested itself in regressing young adults and treating them like children but for some reason it was never enough first she was comfortable with the dumb frat boys who would do anything for the chance of a night with her, than for more of a challenge and a rush she did some work with her friend Erin and the student court at the affiliate law college finding it much more to her liking having these intelligent driven young adults being treated like children.

What made Sasha feel the most however was not when she blackmail or threatened her way in but when she could make someone begin to like the treatment to crave the attentions that Sasha was so skilled at giving.

Over the few times she had done this while she had enjoyed her time she had never been tempted to keep one for a longer amount of time to make them hers, and while looking over Ashley she was sure she was going to have fun with the cutie nothing stood off as special,

What was a pleasant surprise and what would help speed things along was that familiar smell that drifted as they entered the room.

"Don't be silly, I need to help you collect you things" Sasha said the charming brunette tried disarming the girl with a smile "Don't worry it will still be waiting for you when we get you back on track" she said gently rubbing the girl's back.

"My name is Sasha, and you're Ashley right?" She said offering her hand to shake as she asked the name despite already being briefed on the girl who was mainly being used as an example to get the other slackers to shape up.

Ashley had limited knowledge of Sasha and her fellow students at all be it from other courses or her own.

Ashley didn't chill or hang out with others at all because she didn't kow how to. She wasn't one of those 'cool loner' types that would still get invited to hang out places she was more so invisible and forgettable. She didn't stand out from the crowd nor did she want to stand out from the crowd.

She had stood out once and that was when Pastor Nick had noticed her properly for the first time and since then she preferred being in the back and quiet.  She wasn't a hot shot like others at all nor did she want to be a hot shot.

Ash sighed a little feeling her annoyance grow but she couldn't deny the charm Sasha had. She could see why Erin and Sasha were friends.

The charm Sasha had might of worked for most people but Ash wasn't most people nor did she enjoy charm that much having been charmed on many occasions by Pastor Nick.  People were only charming if they wanted something from you.

Ashley didn't say a word and simply nodded.  There wasn't much point in arguing really and she didn't have the energy to even try yet she did manage to say one word, "Sure."

Ashley's voice was cold like ice but worse. It held no warmth in return to Sasha's.  It held nothing and could be considered completely dead in tone.

Ash wasn't sure what Sasha was up to but she wasn't going to be a joke or plaything for the other student or others.

Ashley bent down and picked up the keys that fell, "Yeah..." replied Ashley looking at Sasha and then at the woman's hand oddly before accepting it a little into her own but she quickly broke the shake before they could even shake properly.

Ashley opened her door to her room and walked in.

A soft bunny plushie laid underneath the quilt covers with its head poking out.

A few pictures laid on her desk of her father, her and Pastor Nick together along with her Uncle John. They were all close but there was less pictures of John after the third group picture. In the three pictures she had with him as a child with Pastor Nick and her father she was clingung tightly to him and he was holding her close away from Pastor Nick. There were three more pictures on her desk one of her with her father and one with her with Pastor Nick.  Her eyes were dull in each picture except for one which was her with John.

Pastor Nick was her guardian. Her father's best friend.

The only picture of her mother was in a locket that she kept around her neck.

Ash got her clothes from the wardrobe. She didn't have much at all.  There was no DVD's, laptop, computer games or anything electrical she had. The only books she packed was law ones which she got from the library and her own personal bible along with a ripped notebook which she wrote her thoughts in.

The last thing to go in at all was her plush bunny and pictures of Uncle John. Ash chose to leave the other pictures on her desk.

Ash ignored her wet sheets.  It was a small gym bag she had stored everything in.  The blonde had her head down and was looking at the floor, "There isn't much.." mumbled Ashley feeling ashamed and slightly humiliated at having to pack and more so having so little compared to others.

"Okay well let's get you to my place and then we can get some food in you" Sasha said with a knowing look, the stone wall approach she got back from Ash wasn't pushing her way if anything it made her more interesting like a puzzle to solve. "You strike me as the too busy to eat kind of girl" Sasha wondered what the smaller girl's deal was she had photos but they featured the same people maybe close knit family not used to interacting with outsiders also all males so maybe she wasn't comfortable with women in general.

Sasha's courses were in finance, being groomed to be the air to her parents business had it's fair share of perks like the sweet house she got just off campus and the credit card which as long as her grades stayed up the charges on it were never questioned.

"Come along" She ordered gently like giving instructions to a child as she grabbed Ash's hand and began to lead her out into the campus and then towards town.

Ashley at the mention of food looked at Sasha with the biggest and loveliest smile possible that had previously captured Pasto Nick's heart.

Ashley was happy enough to have her hand held and followed Sasha at a quick pace. Faster than before. She was a lot more warm and cheerful now but that wasn't going to last for long.

Ash had lived on a farm for most of her life and wasn't used to big cities or towns at all. It was all still new to her.

Ash looked curiously at the buildings having never gotten the chance to look at them properly before, "Do you live in town?" asked Ash softly the thought of food still on her mind, "I dunno how to cook." added Ash quietly. Her father hadn't taught her at all nor did anyone which meant microwaved food at best.

Link to comment

"That's okay honey, you don't need to know how to cook, clean or do laundry I'm here to take all that of your shoulders and let you focus on school" Sasha said after capturing her breath, honestly the girl went from average to interesting to breath taking in just one smile Sasha wanted that always.

"Yes sweetheart just a few streets so it's not a big commute" She said leading them to her modern townhouse and taking her down the brick paving towards the front door.

"So what foods do you like?" She asked not referring to maybe needing to stock up she got the feeling that Ashley was the I'm not worth any fuss sort of girl which wouldn't work well here considering how much she would be fussed over.

As they enter the property she leads her into the living room, a playpen to big for a child sits in the centre but Sasha doesn't draw attention to it or reference it.

Link to comment

Ashley slowed down a little feeling unsure about the idea of someone taking care of all that.

It would be nice but she hated the idea of having someone burden themselves just for her.

Suddenly she felt guilty. Very guilty. Extremely guilty. Ashley's eyes gazed downwards and her more positive energy disappeared.

She was bad. She was a burden. Sasha was going to look after her because she couldn't look after herself? If she was a child? That meant she was a burden to others.

Pastor Nick had told her that every child especially ones like her were nothing more than burdens.

"I...I..." stammered Ashley her throat tight, "I can...I'm not useless." whispered Ashley quietly. Her thoughts and mind going all over the place.

Her eyes look upon the big town house before looking back down at the brick pavement.

"Huh? Um...I don't know," stammered Ashley, "anything's fine."

Ashley was going inside her own head again and had the same frightful expression she had in court but worse. Her pupils were diluted and she was busy suckling on her bottom lip.

Ashley would of said something about the playpen if she wasn't so nervous and scared, "c-c-can I use your bathroom, please?" asked Ashley politely planning to cry her eyes out somewhere that was semi-safe for her because she doubted that Sasha would disturb her.

Link to comment

The drop in attitude was noticeable but Sasha knew enough about prepping people for her games before not to push to hard or they will retreat far away from her.

"Sure Ash, it's the first door on the left as soon as you make it up the stairs" Sasha said giving her some space "Make sure to wash up afterwards and I'll have something ready to eat" She said with a smile as she busied herself around the kitchen, adding a white apron to her yellow dress looking the part of a housewife as she began making burgers seeing them as the easy safe option as the smell of meat being cooked began to float around the house

Ash nodded a little before walking away and up to the bathroom.

The blonde didn't bother to lock the door and simply closed it only as she sat down on the floor.

She didn't need to go at all.

After a few minutes of just sitting on the floor lost in her own dreadful thoughts Ash started to cry. It was quiet at first but soon enough her crying grew.

Ash had a hard time controlling her emotions.

Ash rested her head against the wall and continued to sob.

"Ashley honey, are you okay?" Sasha called up the stairs after some time, she had finished making the food and while it wasn't in danger of going cold anytime soon it was a little worrying that she hadn't reappeared.

Sasha had a guess that Ash needed some alone time but as she heard the sobs growing as she approached the bathroom she was surprised at what she had gone to do.

"Sweetheart come here" Sasha said gently as she approached Ashley kneeling down and wrapping her arms around the young woman, she just seemed so delicate so fragile right now like she needed her and to tell the truth despite feeling a little guilty Sasha craved that feeling.

Link to comment

Ashley ignored Sasha and continued to cry.

She felt so bad.  She felt guilty. She felt horrible.  She was horrible.

Ashley lifted her head weakly and stared at Sasha like a scared and fearful kitten that would run away if it could.  The blonde tried to back away from Sasha a little but she was slow and could feel Sasha's arms around her.

Ashley hiccup'd a little and burrowed her head against Sasha's chest.  The young law student sobbed loudly and clung to the other student seeking comfort, "I'm sorry," blubbered Ashley whimpering, "I didn't..." paused Ash breathing fast and deeply, "I...I...I don't..."

She couldn't find her words.  She was so nervous.  Ashley continued her crying.

After a few minutes the blonde managed to calm down in Sasha's arms.

Ash rubbed her eyes and wiped at her nose, "I'm pathetic." said Ashley looking away from Sasha.   Her tone of voice cold as ice once again.

Link to comment

"No you're not" Sasha said stroking through Ashley's blonde locks amazed at how it looked consider from the feel she clearly didn't put any effort into maintaining it.

"You might be in a little over your head and need some help but there are worse problems to have" She gently kissed Ashley on the forehead.

"Now we can either sit in the bathroom, while you call yourself names and I hold you until it's all down or you can come with me and we can get the yummy food I just made into your tummy" she cooed

Link to comment

Ash sighed.  She would of disagreed but she felt so drained from crying her eyes out.   She felt so weak and wasn't quite sure what to make of Sasha at all because while she understood that not everyone was like Pastor Nick she didn't know if she could let go of that fear at all and doubted that she'd be able to let go for a long time.  Would being with Sasha help her? Or make her worse? Was Sasha nice? Mean? Kind? Hurtful? She didn't know.  She felt scared of not knowing and wanted to pull away.

Ash stared at Sasha as if the other student was similar to that of a big scary monster that would hurt her in a matter of moments.  Pure fear shined brightly in Ashley's eyes until she felt Sasha's hand on her head.

The feel of someone's hand through her hair was terrifying but no pain came and she relaxed even going as far as to start enjoying the strokes.  The fear in her eyes subsiding into a more trustful and happy gaze despite the nervousness that she still had.

"Mhm," hum'd Ashley almost melting into the kiss, "suppose."

Ash entire face had a very sweet and peaceful look on it thanks to the kiss. She couldn't remember feeling this before or ever. It made her want to stay in Sasha's arms for the longest time.

She knew that there were worse problems to have much worse and thankfully she was away from all that for now but she knew if she allowed her grades to slip anymore she would have to go back to her town and that meant Pastor Nick.   What would Sasha say if she told her about Pastor Nick?

Ashley perked up at the mention of food.

She could smell it from here and a sudden bright smile spread across her face, "Okay! Food sounds good!"

Ashley was always somewhat timid when it came to eating.  Her father and Pastor Nick spent a lot of time together and she would often not eat because of it choosing to eat late at night instead which meant sneaking out of her room so any type of cook food offered to her from Sasha was brilliant and she wasn't the type to turn free food down either.

"Well come along then little one" She said with a faint coo in her voice as Sasha lead Ashley back towards the dining room table, there was a large highchair there but as of yet Sasha didn't intend to force the issue while she loved the power trip of spoon feeding someone planning to conquer corporate or criminal law there was something about that smile Ashley had that Sasha didn't want to break.

She pulled out Ash's chair for her before pushing it under the table and bringing her a plate of French fries with some burgers and placing various sauces and relishes on the table "dig in honey" she said as she began to eat herself

Link to comment

Ash didn't mind the faint coo or the words that Sasha used at all.

She didn't feel threatened at all for now.

Ashley followed Sasha down and this time was more aware of her surroundings.   The  oversized playpen catching her eye this time but she made no comment at all as she entered the dining room and glanced a little at the highchair.  Her eyes bright with curiosity but she kept quiet for now she would ask Sasha later about the playpen and highchair.

Ashley gave Sasha a big grin, "Thank you!"

Ashley sat down on the chair and watched with a wide eyed expression as a plate was brought to her.  It looked good.  Ash could feel her mouth water but she held herself back not wanting to be rude at all and was careful not to make much of a mess while she ate.

It was hard for Ash not to wolf her food down giving the times she had done so in the past as a child during the night and while she hadn't wolfed it down she wasn't exactly moderate in her pace either.   A slight bit of sauce had caught the either side of her mouth despite her carefulness and her hands were covered in crumbs after finishing her food but she was relaxed and laying back in the chair.

Maybe this wasn't so bad?

She felt a little tired after the food and while it wasn't particularly late she hadn't been sleeping very well due to her job and she always felt tired after eating a decent meal.  A yawn broke out from her and Ashley covered her mouth while she yawned only to stretch like a cat, "I have work in a few hours?" said Ash quietly, "Do I still work now that I'm with you or?" asked Ash softly and sitting up straight, "I don't know what was meant fully today in court? I mean...." paused Ashley feeling nervous again and a bit embarrassed, "I wasn't really briefed that much." added Ashley chewing on her fingernails a little.
